Owners were very nice and accommodating. Place was cute and comfortable. Unfortunately, when we were there, there was an odor we couldn’t get rid of.

Recently had my wedding at a venue which is a block down the road. Sadly there was not enough room at the venue to get ready, so I found the Elizabeth House and it was everything we needed plus more. With beautiful photo opportunities inside and out, Elizabeth House definitely delivered!! We where able to comfortably sleep 8 out of town guest and have more than enough room to get ready the day of the wedding. With a great split floor plan the groomsmen where able to stay away from the bridal party. All the rooms where very well kept and we absolutely loved the untouched history inside the home. Location was another huge plus, within walking distance of our wedding venue and downtown, we rarely had to drive anywhere. If you are looking for a lasting part of history to stay at in Tampa with a great location this is the place!!!

We really enjoyed this historic home, which was decorated so charmingly. The pool table and hot tub were a big hit with our large, multi-aged group. Everyone had something to do together, which was part of our goal. The kitchen was well-equiped and having multiple bathrooms and showers was a bonus for our big group. There were a few hygiene issues that did turn us off a bit, which we mention so you can make things more pleasant for the next guests. The master bedroom had a very unpleasant smell, like something was decomposing. There were bugs in the sugar bowl and ants in the kitchen and around the window air conditioning unit upstairs. There was a dried crust of bun in the blanket basket in the sitting area and a pair of dirty, little girls' tights around the pillows on the couch. We came during a cold snap and the house was very cold for several days. When more guests arrived, they discovered an addition temperature control in the upstairs loft, which helped when it was turned on. However, the house was only about 45 degrees F for the first two days of the stay, which made it hard to enjoy. It was a good thing there was a hot tub to warm up in! Overall, it was still a pleasant stay and a good fit for our large group. The yard was beautiful and the house was perfectly decorated.
