This house has tons of room, plenty of bedrooms. My family rented it as a last minute replacement because our original rental on Holden Beach was canceled due to Hurricane damage. The pool is nice. The house is located in a quiet golf neighborhood but there are no fairways near the house to create noise. My family of 5 spread out and still didn't use a couple of the bedrooms. The lake behind the house is more of a marsh but there were a lot of egrets and cranes to watch. The host company was very responsive to our questions. Definitely would recommend, we would rent it again.

Beautiful house with a great layout. Spacious main floor with great kitchen! The house was very clean!! We appreciated all the amenities like a well stocked kitchen - we found all the pots, pans, utensils, dishes we needed. Washer and dryer was high quality too. 2 suggestions - The king bedroom on 3rd floor that overlooks the great room could use a window installed in the opening - we were very caught off guard that it wasn't a private room and noise easily carried up from the main floor so it is not a private quiet room. A glass window would provide a great (much needed) sound barrier to make it an ideal bedroom. Secondly, the amount of glassware and glass decorations was a bit too much for us. While beautiful, our adult/teen group was a little overwhelmed and worried we'd accidently break something - less is more. A HUGE bonus for us at this house was the private pool and elevator. To the owners - thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home for a week!!

The house was large enough for ten of us. There was 6 adults 2 teenagers and 2 girls. The kitchen had lots of cookware and bake ware, a gas grill which we used. The house has a lot of decor (many glass/crystal pieces, which may be an issue if you have young kids. Other than that it was great!

The house was very nice. The location and neighborhood was great. The only complaint is that the propane tanks for the grill and fire table were empty.

We came into town that Thursday night had great directions to get us there right to the driveway. The house is gorgeous and just as pictured and just as nice. Was well maintained and stocked with linens. The beds were awesome. The swimming pool was even better. There was 12 head of us all together and we all enjoyed ourselves. We grilled out we made s’mores swam and was close to everything or place we needed to go. The downstairs shower is awesome with built in sauna. We saw nature at its best during the morning hours the birds singing and moving about the squirrels playing and running even saw a mama Gator and her baby out in the water. All in all was a very enjoyable stay we will be back again. One side note if they could update the sound system to Bluetooth would be great. Thank y’all for allowing us to stay and use the facility.

We rented this house for the family for 2 weeks in August. The house itself is very spacious and there was plenty of room for the 9 of us (including a 1 year old). The kitchen was a nice open space , where we prepared many meals as a family. The poker was large enough as well. We loved the pool table but actually used it as a puzzle table instead. The location was good, not too far from anything but not too close either - although there is a Food Lion Supermarket only 8 minutes away. The beach was about a 10-12 minute drive. The guys loved that there were so many golfing opportunities so close by as well. The city of Calabash, with many restaurants, is also 15 minutes away. We enjoyed an evening of making s'mores by the fire pit as well. Upon arrival, we noticed a few things that we had never experienced in any rental home before. The bedsheets in one of the bed rooms, on the main floor, were dirty (hair and stains). When we went to throw them in the washer, we found a layer of black mold along the rubber of the door which we also had to clean. The yellow chairs on the balcony were also moldy from being left out in the rain and elements, we were not able to sit out there and enjoy the space for the entire time we were there. The extra blankets in the closet on the main-floor were also used and thrown into the corner. The bed spreads should be replaced in all the bedrooms- very old and used looking. Poolside, the house needs a power wash, just grime and dirt built up along the sides which gives a very bad look and feel. Over all, we felt that the cleaning had been subpar- we spent our first evening tidying up a bit which is not what we wanted to do after a 12 hour drive and not to mention the money we spent on the rental. We did tell management but they did little to apologize- only offering to send the cleaning crew back the next day. Just no, it should have been cleaned from the beginning. What are the cleaning fees for?! Furthermore- the house has a great layout but what’s up with all the furniture and junk? Just too much. A rental home should be simple and clean. Not full of nonsense knickknacks. Maybe the cleaning crew would have an easier time if there wasn’t so much stuff laying around. Overall- we had an amazing time and would recommend the house if the owners would get rid of the clutter, and the cleaning crew would do just a bit better.

We loved this home for our vacay especially enjoying the pool and space to hang out together yet have our own defined separate spaces as well. The few suggestions for improvement would be to purchase pool loungers, a huge kitchen trash can as trash is only collected on Wednesdays & the small compactor can’t handle all the trash from cooking meals daily, add a ceiling fan to the downstairs bedroom as it got hot in their & we had to purchase a stand up fan from Walmart, and maybe update the bed linens & mattresses. Thank you for sharing your home!
