Not enough outside lighting, no window coverings in the main areas of the house. Need to put light switches closer to the front door. Fix the front door so it isn't hard to open. Not impressed with Vacasa. They text you multiple times a day can't relax. Need to fix door handle into the garage light switches in hall that light up anything. Please put up curtains. Be a female I feel very vulnerable at night without the curtains.

Property was poorly maintained. Bathroom cabinets broken(master), hall light does not work, cobwebs everywhere, dirt in drawers, oven dirty and did not have enough flat wear for 5 people without washing each time. I reported issues with the local management team who were responsive and did what they could. Please make sure it is noted that there are windows that don't open (no air conditioning). The front entrance is not secure even when locked and that there are No shades in the living area (no privacy). The bed situation did not work well for our family. Grandsons 22 and 20. One slept on couch, so no shades were also problem. Had to buy batteries for tv controllers and garbage bags. Drier vent needs to be checked had to set drier higher or run twice for clothes to be dry. The sunsets were beautiful over the water. we enjoyed sitting out front.

It would be nice to communicate directly with the owner with questions. The Vacasa person told us there were no fans in the house, so we stopped in Seattle to purchase one, only to find several in the house. Overall, our stay was very pleasant.

We had a lovely stay at this home on Bainbridge Island. The listing is not misleading at all. We took the kayaks out one day and it was an easy transport to the inlet down the road. It should be noted that you can access the water from that point, but you cannot use the beaches in front of the homes down there as it is considered private property. The house had everything we needed but is does not have AC. We only had one day in early July when that would have been nice to have. It cools down nicely in the evenings and the fans provided help a lot. Coming from Florida we booked knowing there wasn't AC in the home and were pleasantly surprised for the most part that it was not necessary most days. As Floridians who don't frequent this part of the country it is unheard of not to have AC! Our advice would be to check the temperatures in the summer for the timeframe you are visiting to see if no AC is a deal breaker. All in all, the hose was clean, comfortable and suited our needs just fine! We would recommend this home and would absolutely book again!

If you are trying to figure out where to stay. Stop right here. This is the one. Private, quiet, charming, confortable, friendly neighborhood. It is not too far from the Ferry with easy access to seattle. If you plan on cooking a lot, you may need extra pots and pans, but i already travel with that. Daily needs are not far away with plenty of wineries, groceries, and restaurant within a short drive. You will absolutely fall in love with this home!
