This spacious, well-appointed home offers plenty of room and comfort for you and your group, including your pets, with four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and a spectacular open-top floor with a cargo lift to easily transport your items from the ground level to the top. Its unique location also provides a convenient short walk to the beach, restaurants, pubs, a grocery store, and more, plus easy access to the St. Waves community pool and tennis courts.

Sundancer's concrete driveway provides plenty of parking, and under the home, you'll find storage, an outdoor shower, and a fish cleaning station. The large green lawn is the perfect spot for outdoor croquet, ladder toss, or a game of fetch with your four-legged guests. Both a gas and charcoal barbecue grill will be found in the new enclosed and private picnic area. On the first floor, the first bedroom has a queen bed, a single bed, and a TV. The second bedroom has two single beds, a TV, and deck access. The third bedroom is a primary with a queen bed, a TV, a private bath, and deck access. The den provides a quiet retreat for reading or just relaxing. A hall bath is available on this level and is easily accessible from all rooms. Also, just outside on the first-floor deck, is the brand new four-person hot tub.

The open and airy top-floor great room has a full hall bath with a whirlpool tub, vaulted ceilings, and a comfy living area with a log fireplace, resort-style furniture, and access to the screened porch. Enjoy a movie on the large TV, log on with free WiFi, crank up the beach music on the stereo, or enjoy SiriusXM radio. The large functional kitchen makes preparing meals a delight, and you can enjoy them with the whole crew gathered at the 10-person dining table. Also on this floor is the fourth bedroom with a king bed and a TV. Head outdoors to the open decks to enjoy a view of the private lake in the St. Waves subdivision and spot plenty of waterfowl and other Island wildlife. With an expansive great room and comfortable accommodations, Sundancer sets the stage for a fantastic Outer Banks vacation, an absolutely great value for this spacious cottage.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Getting in touch with a customer service agent is so tough. The house and amenities are below average at best. The best part of the house was the lift. Anyway, everyday at the beach is always a better day than being at home.

We love this area of the outer banks! The local stores have super sweet staff. This house is a 10 minute walk to the beach, or less, if you drive to the parking around the corner. The pond behind the house was perfect for canoeing, and fishing. I highly recommend for a fun family get away!

The home and location is an awesome experience. However, our interactions with VACASA were very lacking, as we called several times for an issue, only to find the part of the issue was never recorded in their records or sent out for a resolution. Great house...Poor Realty company response.

Great location, beautiful home. But needs a lot of repair, upgrades and appliance replacement including beds. Would be a great rental if they would put a bit more love into the home.

Good house with multiple deck levels and room for a couple families - easily works for 8-9 people. Kitchen was well stocked and hot tub was new, clean and worked well. Nice view of the pond off of the decks and easy walk to the beach. Beds were a bit hard and furniture a bit worn but a great house for a big family or two who needs space and a place to hang out and eat together.

This place is well located overlooking the pond, has a good layout, and the very nice hot tub was a big plus. Dishwasher and clothes dryer were not operational and even after a repairman came by, the dishwasher still didn’t work. The house needs to be updated but it’s great that dogs are welcome.

We Full time in an RV, and had to put it in for Service over our Stay in Waves. and I was recovering from a surgery. other than the stairs it was a very relaxing getaway. King Bed in the Master Suite was very Firm (which we like) Beach was about a ..85 Mile Walk round trip to the end of the accessway and back, perfect for me to get out and move and it allowed my wife to take the dogs a nice stroll and play in the sand. House overall was very nice. Luggage elevator was a huge Plus! Loved the Dog gate at the top of the steps Very secure and lockable. We are looking forward to booking again next year sometime!

Home was great and dog friendly. However, vacasa handles this property rental and is not local and don’t know what is even going on at there properties! Dog gate broke, code lock wouldn’t work consistently so we had to leave back door unlocked, no gas in grill, grill was disgusting, and old coffee still in coffee pot! Instructions for checking out include you vacuuming the property, sweeping the property, and wiping fridge out; but you pay a cleaning fee. So we tried to vacuum no suction was happening and look inside the hose and it is clogged with a previous persons dog hair in it! Gross so needless to say we couldn’t vacuum!

I like this house. I have stayed here before. I know where things are and what to expect. I did not like the confusion in the transfer from outer beaches to Vacasa. The house was not ready when it was supposed to be and when it was, it was not cleaned properly. I could not reach anyone on vacasas 24/7 line after withing for an hour and when someone texted me I was given a universal answer. I called outer beaches, was able to leave a message and someone called me first thing the next morning and had my issue resolved satisfactorily by noon. I hope that with vacasa this isn't a sign of what will be the norm. I have been to Hilton head and other beaches. I come to OBX because of how laid back and non-commercial it is. Its not a resort area. It is a laid back, slow paced, quiet, relaxing beach location to get away. I will be back to this house in hopes it was a transition issue. I do really enjoy this house.
