About this cottage rental
Whip up a sumptuous feast in the well-equipped country cottage kitchen, relax in front of a roaring fire, and enjoy restful sleep in luxurious Egyptian cotton sheets and duck feather bedding.
The country cottage has a private garden with a fire pit BBQ on the terrace and lovely views overlooking green fields and woodlands. The sunsets here can be pretty spectacular! There is also a lockable bike shed for cycling enthusiasts.
Whether you are on a romantic getaway or a family holiday, our Country Cottage offers both comfort and luxury in a beautiful rural setting. Child-friendly and child-safety features throughout: toughened glass balustrade, cot, baby changing mat, toddler’s bathroom step and loo seat, and optional fireguard and baby gate on the staircase. Please request at the time of booking. The cottage sleeps 4 plus an infant in a cot.
Easy access to walks and cycle paths (Southwater Woods, Southwater Country Park, Downs Link, South Downs National Park) and to nearby sites and attractions. Horsham town centre is a 9 minute drive away, and offers a broad selection of shops, boutiques, gastro pubs, restaurants and bars selling craft beers. There is an Everyman cinema, a theatre, and venues hosting live music and comedy events. Horsham Market takes place twice a week. You can sample some of the best street food in Sussex on a Thursday or fill up your fridge with local produce and artisan breads and cheeses from the farmers market on Saturdays.
Please note:
1. The cottage sleeps 4. Travel cot (£30), plus one single air bed (£25 per night) available to hire for additional guests.
2. This is a non-smoking accommodation.
3. A max of two well-behaved dogs are permitted for a fee of £40 per dog, per stay. This includes provision during your stay of a dog mat, dog towel, water and food bowls and dog waste bags.
4. A cleaning fee of £70 per stay is payable on booking.
5. Prices include VAT at the standard rate as at the time of booking. Please email [email protected] should you require a VAT receipt.
6. Kitchen amenities include: dishwasher, electric oven, halogen hob, combi-microwave, kettle, toaster, vacuum cleaner, baby high chair, plus a washer/dryer in outbuilding.
7. Fluffy towels, bath robes, slippers and hot water bottle available in each bedroom, plus one hair dryer.
8. Super fast wi-fi throughout.
9. TV with streaming available, DVD player and selection of DVDs.
10. Children's fire guard available for free on request.
11. Comprehensive Visitor's Guide available in the cottage.
