Property was not elderly friendly. Steps inside and outside were dangerous. Cobwebs and dustbunnies Dirty coffee filter in coffee pot. Bathtub leaked onto beds that were being occupied downstairs, we had to put mattresses on the floor. It was advertised as a pull out couch but it wasnt.

They took the dock out early, so they let us check in early otherwise be warned, it’s $50 an hour to check in early. I always go around and check out the house. Sent pictures of the dirty pull out couch had all kinds of stuff on it, like it was never pulled out or sheets removed. Upon checking out kitchen, there was still food on the stove that hadn’t been cleaned. Went downstairs and top bunk beds weren’t made, went outside and the storage was locked for canoes. Upstairs chair had ripped leather. Now the best part, 2 rolls of toilet paper, 1 towel and washcloth for everyone and they were wrapped up, NO extras towels for lake or showers or extra Toilet paper , paper towels. Nothing. No dishcloth to wipe down counters only a kitchen scrubber. When I called about the food on stove, dirt and other stuff on couch and the top bunks on bed not being made was told, it was my responsibility to make them, and they would send out the cleaner, I replied: Absolutely not, I’ve already cleaned it all and if she did t do it right the first time, why would I want her to come back out. what a joke.

Many issues: No coffee filters. We left some. This is not something one would think to bring. Outdoor front stairs are not code compliant. The tread is too short making it awkward to carry bags down the stairs. No central air conditioning nor were there room air conditioners in each bedroom. No screen on downstairs bedroom sliding doors which would have helped the no A/C situation.

Family and friends stayed here for the weekend to attend a homeschool HS graduation ceremony in Geneva. 7 adults, 3 children and 1 Golden Retriever fit very nicely in this house on the lake. It only takes about 25 minutes to get into Geneva and there are a lot of fun things to do there. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed.

This is a great home and we had a great family trip. There were some significant issues though. First, and most troubling was there are no screens in the windows on the sleeping level. 3 of the 4 bedrooms had no screens and no air conditioning which was uncomfortable in the heat. One of the best things about being on a lake is having your window open for the breeze and the sound of the lake. That did not happen for us, just the opposite as we visited in August and it was very uncomfortable for sleeping. Additionally, the blinds in the sleeping room was a paper bling held up with tacks and could not be raised or lowered. The foose ball table had no foose balls so kind of useless. We went out and bought some golf balls to use but still an inconvenience. Also, the shower temperature adjuster faucet was broken and stuck on scalding hot. When I called the property manager they were kind and responsive, they fixed the shower faucet and the door screen but couldn't come up with any window screens or a foose ball! We had a great stay and this is a decent property but there were many details that need to be given attention.

I would definitely recommend this gorgeous house on the lake. The location was beautiful! Ample parking. Plenty of beds and space to relax or eat meals. Matched the pics in the listing. Deck overlooking water. We were there with our adult children for a wedding. Wished we could have stayed longer!!
