Historical experience.

Seclude Shimla offers the ultimate colonial experience. The property is a thoroughly renovated wooden structure with tasteful furnature, which all feels very historical. On top, we were pampered with great Indian food and service. We especially appreciate that Seclude Shimla offered lodgings for our taxi driver.

The hot water boiler is a bit small, which encourages short showers. Seclude Shimla is relatively not cheap and demands prepayment without the option to cancel.

Excellent choice in Shimla

What a great find Seclude Shimla was for me - it suited me very well. Good location with beautiful outlook over a well tended garden. Shimla is a crowded nightmare with a great deal of traffic - Seclude was convenient to all that I wanted to see and far enough away that i was not aware of traffic or excess noise - the off street parking was a great bonus. Nadeem was always available and manages a team of warm welcoming staff - would definitely return

Just Awesome

Most importantly, staff is excellent . A special thanks to Nadeem who made our stay very special. Secondly , the food was amazing. Not once did I miss home cooked food. I had taken the all-inclusive package which worth while. Rooms are nice and very comfortable. I guess the location is also great. 13 mins drive to the mall road parking. I am surely going to go back again.

I think they should have shower curtains .

Pretty damn good !

Location is brilliant. The rooms are really spacious. Food especially the parathas were an absolute delight. This is not a fancy star resort. Go for it if you like some quite time and want to unwind with a cuppa coffee and read a book !

No value for money and def not appropriate for winter visitors

The chef was great

The venue is absolutely under par for guests staying during the winter months. There is no heating in the public rooms resulting in freezing dinner experiences. The bathroom was an annex type which you cannot see on the photos hence the temp in the bathroom was 6 degrees. Warm water ran out after one very short shower leaving my partner without hot water

Clean, Quiet, Excellent Service.

The property is a historic building in a serene location with a lovely view of the city and the lights in the evening. The heaters and electric blankets in the rooms were amazing. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to help us organise our trip and transport and serve us delicious food. Excellent stay.

Loved it!

Beautiful rooms, great design. Spacious rooms. Comfy. I wish we had time to stay longer.

We had a same day booking but they didn’t seem to know upon our arrival so when we arrived it seemed first like there wasn’t anyone around. We were the only guests.

I have taken up travel for leisure quite some time and have stayed at various properties, however seldom i have taken efforts to write review. Seclude was best decision to stay to shimla- very cozy, comfortable, good staffed! true to this name!!! monkeys were a problem but they was everywhere in shimla ! Arjun is very good human being who happens to be care taker of the property and staff!

Brilliant choice!

Everything about the property was as charming as it could get. The property has a character of its own unlike run of the mill hotel chain properties. What makes it even more appealing is the staff and the level of customization to their service, to best suit your needs and comfort. This was our second stay with Seclude properties and we are now fully convinced about the quality of their hotels and staff. Special mention for Nadeem and Anut for taking care of our needs during the stay. Not to forget, the kitchen staff for all the lip-smacking dishes they prepared for us. Cheers!!

Exceptional

The heritage home is very beautiful and our room was spacious, spick and span, and very comfortable. The furnishing was very pleasing. The bathroom had ample lights and hot water and was super clean. Gopal bhaiya was amazing and very warm and helpful. We enjoyed the peace and quiet.

We liked everything Maybe a few boardgames could be added. Also, since the place is away from the city, a few cookies or biscuits could be kept in the room to have with tea/ coffee in the morning.

Fabulous.

Every meal in this particular site worth gold. Even if you had a bad day the food will keep you completely content. This property has a garden view and a beautiful greenery in front where you could spend your time and enjoy the nature. The staff is excellent never seen a more friendly and helpful staff than here.

Nothing this is a perfect place for a good hearty visit.
