What better way to enjoy what Lake Gaston has to offer than in a beautiful Log Cabin on the water.
From large family get togethers to small intimate gatherings, this property caters to all.
The main floor has an open view concept, so while you are making meals in the fully stocked kitchen, you can enjoy the lake views. When the food is ready, what better way to present your meals than on a 100 year old Amish barn wood table! This dining table has seen many tasty holiday feasts and is the perfect backdrop for those instagram food pics 📸 .If you want to have your meals outside , the deck has two dining tables and a gas grill, and ohh, the view 🌅! The living room has enough space for everyone to cozy up. The new fluffy leather couches are great for a movie night or enjoying that new book by the glow from the fire.
There are three bedrooms on the main floor. A master with an ensuite bath and a large walk-in closet and two bedrooms with plenty of closet space and a full hall bathroom. Down stairs, you will find two more bedrooms, both queen size beds and a large bunk room that sleeps six but has plenty of space for a large air mattress if needed. If the rain stops the outdoor fun , no worries! Come inside and play a game of pool🎱, shuffleboard, or challenge the kiddos to an intense video game battle. Pac-Man, Space Invaders, Burger Time, and Frogger are just some of the classics you can play on the arcade machine🕹. Better yet, make it adults vs. kids and show them how it's done! Now to our favorite part of the property , Lake Gaston, of course! When we saw this property, we instantly fell in love with the outdoor space. The fire pit where roasting marshmallows and telling stories is a must. The beautiful stairway that leads you to the dock where the best memories are made. The dock where swimming and jumping and lounging in the sun that could go on all day long. The beach area where little ones love to play in the sand and stomp on sand castles that dad has to rebuild over and over. The swinging in the hammocks that take everyday worries away , the kayaking🛶 and my boys

Would suggest being reasonably comfortable navigating a boat if plan to go on the main lake. The land bridge tunnel is tight.

House was great for our family. Location was great, house had everything we needed. If you plan to rent a boat be aware that the part of the lake this house is on requires you to pass under an extremely narrow bridge (hands on ceiling and walls to push pontoon boat through) to access house from main lake.

Our family had a wonderful time at the lake! Separate and shared spaces for three families supported downtime and time together. The home offered a well-stocked kitchen, and furnishings and bedding were clean and comfortable. We spent most of our day enjoying the sand beach, lounging on the dock, and kayaking. Everyone caught a fish!

I recently had the pleasure of having a long weekend at this cabin. The house is gorgeous and it fits any/all needs on any type of gathering! The owner was always quick to respond to questions, and it was clear she really takes pride in ensuring guests have a pleasant experience! I would highly recommend this cabin, and i would very likely look to stay here again in the future.

We stayed as a group for a nearby family wedding. It was the perfect place to relax in the evenings! The dock was beautiful with lots of places to sit. Everything was as described in the listing. The owner was extremely responsive to questions. A beautiful neighborhood on the lake. Very peaceful. Recommend!

We enjoyed a perfect cabin getaway at the lake. The house was beautiful, just like the pictures. We brought our boat and enjoyed fishing off the dock. The kids thoroughly enjoyed making s’mores around the campfire space. The coffee station was a nice touch. We will definitely plan on staying here again in the future!

This was our friend group's third annual trip where we have chosen a new location each year, but after our experience at Natalia's log home we all decided that we have found our forever location. The common spaces were perfect for our group to gather, the open kitchen was just perfect, and the view - wow you just can't beat it. Thank you so much for providing us a wonderful space for such a relaxing weekend.

This property was exactly as listed and beautiful! There were 13 of us total (6 adults and 7 kids), and the layout was absolutely perfect for families to share. The kids enjoyed the bunk bed room and the downstairs games.
This home was extremely CLEAN🙌🙌 I am very picky when it comes to cleanliness, and this house checked all the boxes.
We all loved the outdoor space. We spent the majority of our time on the dock fishing, jumping in the lake, kayaking (which one was available for use as well as a paddle boat and plenty of life jackets ) and paddle boarding (which we brought). We spent our nights around the fire pit making s’mores while the kids played hide and seek.
Communication with the owner was great and the check in and check out process was easy! We appreciated the 11am check out time vs some other houses had 10am check out times. We would rent this home again and would also recommend to others.

Our family had a great week vacationing in this beautiful home. The fully equipped kitchen made cooking for the crew very easy. The dock and boathouse were perfect for floats and boats. The owner was very accommodating and readily available to answer any questions. We can't wait to come back next year!

Loved just about everything about this place. The lake and setup exceeded expectations. Could have spend longer and would use this house again. You will definitely get away at this house. Cell service is meh and internet isn’t stellar but that may be a perk for some.

Absolutely loved this house. The inside was very welcoming and clean. The outside fire pit and dock area was a hit. Property owner was very good at getting back to us when we had questions. Where the house is located is nice and quiet without a lot of boat traffic. Great for paddle boarding and canoeing. Riding out and seeing the lily pads are a must. The only thing we found that was a tad daunting was the small tunnel like area you have to go through by boat to get to and from the house if you rent any watercraft for your stay. That being said, you get the hang of it, and it would not keep me from renting this house again. Overall, it is an excellent vacation rental, and plan on returning in the future.

The home is beautiful and very well maintained. The owner was very professional and accessible. The kitchen was very well stocked. We especially enjoyed the shuffleboard table on the lower level. We look forward to staying again sometime.

Very beautiful, cozy, and clean. Everything about this property is beautiful. My family is from Jacksonville, Florida and we fell in love with scent of this cabin. The view of the lake is breathtaking.. The property was well stocked and the Christmas decorations topped it off… My family enjoyed our time and do recommend this property. We just came back from Lake Gaston after a long weekend with our children and grandchildren to celebrate birthdays and an early Christmas. We were so pleasantly surprised to see a Christmas tree and decorations, including holiday dinnerware which definitely enhanced the celebrations.
The home was very spacious and provided plenty of room for 6 children, ages 4 to 11 and 6 adults. The 'bunk" room was a huge hit as well as the pool table etc.
We were able to spend time outside but the general consensus was that the children wanted to come back in the summer as the lake activities looked great!
Natalia was a pleasure to work with and I would recommend this home as a great family destination.

I stayed at Natalia's Gaston Shores property with a group of friends for an annual weekend getaway. This house was spectacular - the beds were comfortable, the house was clean, the owner was friendly and quick to respond. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen in a rental home we've ever stayed at - it had everything we needed to cook meals all weekend for our group. The kitchen table was lovely to sit around together to eat meals, and the fire pit was amazing on the cool October evenings. Being right on the lake, we were able to take out the kayaks provided at the house and enjoy some time on the water too! The home was just a really perfect location and it was especially nice not having to bring in all the things to prepare meals or even things like linens for the weekend. It made it a nice, relaxing, peaceful weekend for us and many thanks to Natalia for all the personal touches in the home, the books and movies, the labeled light switches that make things so much easier, and the coffee and s'mores supplies! We would absolutely return to this home in the future!

This house is perfect for families to come together and visit. The best part of the house is the beach area set up for the kids to play in the sand and get in the water. This is one of the main reasons we picked this location. The house is just perfect. We couldn't ask for a better host. She responded to any questions I had in a very timely manner. This house was amazing. We came out of state and are very familiar with deep creek. Lake gaston was definitely a great time and the house had everything you could possibly want for a fun weekend. The only small issue was the internet speeds. Even if it cost a little more it would be great to have better isp service in the house since cell phone service is very spotty. We had fun playing pool, using the kayaks, and we even rented a boat that we could dock at the house. Beautiful place.

This was a wonderful vacation property designed for families that include all ages! Something for everyone. Our group included 6 teens, 1 preteen, and 8 adults. The bottom level with pool table, arcade and bunk room was the perfect spot for the kids when they weren't on the water. The dock was amazing for watching the water action and relaxing. Natalia was a superior host. She responded immediately to answer any questions we had. We will be back! Thank you for sharing your home to help build memories.

Best Lake House
Gaston Shores is a Great Lake property. It has everything you could possibly need and it is beautiful. It is spacious and worked so well for our group. The down stairs keep our graduates entertained with all the games and the beds allowed them to occupy the entire floor. The kitchen was well equipped and the large dining table allowed us all to eat together. We rented a boat for the week and the dock was easy to access and well equipped with floats and two kayaks. Check in and out was a breeze. We had reason to call the owner and the issue was addressed immediately. This home is an outstanding property and I would recommend it to all. We hope to visit again. BEST LAKE GASTON VACAY!
This house was the PERFECT house for our family! With 8 adults and 6 children, there was plenty of bedrooms, and the 6 grandkids(ages 4-11) especially LOVED staying in the bunkroom downstairs, and really enjoyed the arcade & pool table. The kitchen was well equipped as well as stuff for the beach and lake. There was sufficient parking for 4 vehicles.. We enjoyed all the outdoor seating available at the house and near the lake and beach area. The lake view from the house was nice and the walk from house to lake was a short and easy one. Loved jumping off boat dock, s'mores at the fireplace, using the kayaks, using our jetski, and just making wonderful memories together ❤️
It REALLY was PERFECT, and the only 2 small things that could improve is an ice maker downstairs as the one upstairs couldn't keep up with the amount of people and the DR fan did not function properly, BUT these 2 things did not negatively impact our WONDERFUL stay! Natalia was quick to respond to the few questions I had and we were blessed to be able to stay at Gaston Shores.

Gaston Paradise!
We have been coming to Lake Gaston for a few years now, and this is by far the best property we have stayed at. Natalia is a great communicator and made sure that everything at the home was clean and ready for us to use as soon as we checked in. She even left a basket full of s'mores supplies for us to use...amazing! The house is equipped with everything you need for a stay at the lake, both inside and out: sheets, towels, games, tv, internet, movies, a large kitchen and dining table for family meals, a screened-in porch, fire pit, pool noodles, life jackets, kayaks, floaties, etc...just about everything at your fingertips. The dock is perfect for lounging after taking a dip in the lake, and the beach area also is fantastic, especially for younger children...our group had four kids five and under, and each enjoyed scooping and playing in the shallow water at the beach. We really couldn't have asked for anything more...we spent a fantastic week here and look forward to visiting again!

Memorial Day getaway
We spent 4 amazing days at Lake Gaston Shores and had an amazing time. 8 adults fit comfortably with plenty of room. Natalia was such a gracious hostess, very accommodating, and very responsive to questions. Check in was simple. Well stocked kitchen with everything as advertised. Beautiful views of the lake. We spent nearly all time on the lake and boat dock swimming, fishing, and just relaxing. Rented a pontoon and had no issues docking. FYI to access main lake from this house, need to navigate through tight tunnel under Ebony Road causeway. The game room downstairs was where we spent evenings and such fun. Loved the firepit. Thanks for the smores welcome basket!! Overall it was a great 4 days filled with great memories and plenty of rest and relaxation. We would definitely stay here again.

Check in communication on queue. Property and amenities were as advertised. Took the family for a fishing trip, caught lots of Bream using worms. Groceries and restaurants 15 min ride. Loved the basement addition which hosted us to a game night and watching UFC. Perfect! Will be back.
