Positives: The apartment itself is at the back of a house which has been converted into a triplex. The photos of furnishings are accurate. It’s beautifully decorated, historic. If you don’t mind a walk, location is fine. Museums are nearby, about half a mile. Riverwalk or French Quarter, 2-mile walk. Negatives: The shower handle in the master/downstairs bathroom was broken, so it was nearly impossible to turn the shower on and once we did, we couldn’t control temperature. Impossible to shower upstairs for adults as no one above 4-feet tall can stand in the loft. By far, the most frustrating part of the stay, due to which we checked-out early, is that an outdoor light from the neighboring house shines directly into the downstairs bedroom and flickers on/off every three seconds. All night long. Despite a shade in the window, it was impossible to sleep. Unfortunately, no one on the sofa bed or in the loft could sleep either, as the 6-foot long living-room window faces the interior of the adjacent apartment, so when the neighbors came home and turned on their lights at 1AM, the light shone directly into the living room and loft, which has no door. When I contacted the host about the shower, she offered to send someone next day. When I told her about the lighting issues and how impossible it was to sleep, she never replied. I realize it’s an issue with neighboring properties but it greatly impacts the quality of the stay to the point that we left and lost money.

We loved our stay. The home was perfect for our family. Plenty of space for us to feel very comfortable. Everything we need was there. The location was better than we could have asked for. We loved walking to get dinner and coffee. Walmart was a short 5 minute drive. The listing was accurate but honestly I wish I could have given it more than a five star rating. I would love to come back and would most definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone who we know

Great little property with great access: one street over from Magazine Street and just a few blocks from both the St. Charles Streetcar and WWII Museum.

I booked the house for my partner and I, as well as another couple. The place was in a fantastic location with great food and vibe in the neighborhood. Incredibly safe area too! The host was super responsive and great answering questions or issues we went to her with during the stay. The house itself was great overall, there were some minor tweaks that can be made to make it even better. First thing is that the location of the checkin wasn’t super clear, but the host directed us to the spot quickly. Second, the fixture in the main bathroom downstairs was stuck on hot water for the first few days. My partner was able to fix it a few days in. Lastly and probably biggest issue was the WiFi. We had a ton of issues with getting connected to, and staying on the internet, which for people coming into town for a gaming tournament was a huge issue. In order to do anything we had to connect to our mobile hotspots. Honestly those are hopefully easily fixable issues that would make it a 5 star for sure. Once the WiFi is fixed, I would definitely stay there if the event we went to is held in NOLA next year!

Owner is extremely nice and accommodating. The property was just as described and in a nice location. Property was very nice, very cool, and very clean. New Orleans is very hot and humid and some of the older homes cannot stay cool. However, this property has an excellent a/c unit!

The location and apartment are superb. Photos are accurate. Location is superb, well positioned in NOLA on quiet street and really close to Quarter, Frenchman Street, City Park, also WWII Museum - one can walk to. Kitchen/living room area is GREAT! Upstairs loft bedroom/bathroom fine, stairs up are fine. I will definately stay there again!

This place was perfect for our wedding stay! We got married a short walk away and loved everything about this place. We rarely used the upstairs room (since the first floor was so much more spacious than we thought it would be. Dog friendly was a huge plus. We would stay again on future trips!
