Positives: The apartment itself is at the back of a house which has been converted into a triplex. The photos of furnishings are accurate. It’s beautifully decorated, historic. If you don’t mind a walk, location is fine. Museums are nearby, about half a mile. Riverwalk or French Quarter, 2-mile walk.
Negatives: The shower handle in the master/downstairs bathroom was broken, so it was nearly impossible to turn the shower on and once we did, we couldn’t control temperature. Impossible to shower upstairs for adults as no one above 4-feet tall can stand in the loft. By far, the most frustrating part of the stay, due to which we checked-out early, is that an outdoor light from the neighboring house shines directly into the downstairs bedroom and flickers on/off every three seconds. All night long. Despite a shade in the window, it was impossible to sleep. Unfortunately, no one on the sofa bed or in the loft could sleep either, as the 6-foot long living-room window faces the interior of the adjacent apartment, so when the neighbors came home and turned on their lights at 1AM, the light shone directly into the living room and loft, which has no door. When I contacted the host about the shower, she offered to send someone next day. When I told her about the lighting issues and how impossible it was to sleep, she never replied. I realize it’s an issue with neighboring properties but it greatly impacts the quality of the stay to the point that we left and lost money.

We loved our stay. The home was perfect for our family. Plenty of space for us to feel very comfortable. Everything we need was there. The location was better than we could have asked for. We loved walking to get dinner and coffee. Walmart was a short 5 minute drive. The listing was accurate but honestly I wish I could have given it more than a five star rating. I would love to come back and would most definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone who we know

Great little property with great access: one street over from Magazine Street and just a few blocks from both the St. Charles Streetcar and WWII Museum.

I booked the house for my partner and I, as well as another couple. The place was in a fantastic location with great food and vibe in the neighborhood. Incredibly safe area too! The host was super responsive and great answering questions or issues we went to her with during the stay.
The house itself was great overall, there were some minor tweaks that can be made to make it even better. First thing is that the location of the checkin wasn’t super clear, but the host directed us to the spot quickly. Second, the fixture in the main bathroom downstairs was stuck on hot water for the first few days. My partner was able to fix it a few days in. Lastly and probably biggest issue was the WiFi. We had a ton of issues with getting connected to, and staying on the internet, which for people coming into town for a gaming tournament was a huge issue. In order to do anything we had to connect to our mobile hotspots.
Honestly those are hopefully easily fixable issues that would make it a 5 star for sure. Once the WiFi is fixed, I would definitely stay there if the event we went to is held in NOLA next year!

Not only is the home very nice, but also the location was just right for us. We enjoyed the on street parking. It made getting around the city really convenient.

Owner is extremely nice and accommodating. The property was just as described and in a nice location. Property was very nice, very cool, and very clean. New Orleans is very hot and humid and some of the older homes cannot stay cool. However, this property has an excellent a/c unit!

The location and apartment are superb. Photos are accurate. Location is superb, well positioned in NOLA on quiet street and really close to Quarter, Frenchman Street, City Park, also WWII Museum - one can walk to. Kitchen/living room area is GREAT! Upstairs loft bedroom/bathroom fine, stairs up are fine. I will definately stay there again!

This place was perfect for our wedding stay! We got married a short walk away and loved everything about this place. We rarely used the upstairs room (since the first floor was so much more spacious than we thought it would be. Dog friendly was a huge plus. We would stay again on future trips!

We came to the city for a medical conference but truly we just came for fun! We loved the neighborhood! The garden district is beautiful. The house was clean, adorable and perfect for a few days! The host was very responsive and quick to answer when we needed a thing or two! Would 100 percent stay there again it was close to everything and once again, we enjoyed exploring and drinking our way through town! Thank you!!!

Our stay was perfect. A great homey space off the crazy beaten path of NOLA. Close enough to everything to be convenient and far enough away to leave the crazy behind. So many cute nuances made this place beautiful in its own way. From the lighting fixtures to the oven to the loft .. the whole place was just wonderful.

The place made our trip to Nola perfect. It’s close to everything, but feels tucked away on a quaint residential block. The apartment itself is super cute, clean, and has everything you need, including a nice outdoor space. No issues getting checked in, and the stairs to the loft area have been reworked and are no longer steep as mentioned in a previous review. The loft area serves as more than just a bedroom—it’s a great space in itself with a bathroom, shower, and closet. Hosts were accommodating and responsive.

Kitchen was well equipped. Access to downtown was good. No problem with Street Parking, very easy. For two people, the house is good. But I would not send anybody up those stairs to the second floor. The stairs are not safe and it is very hot up there.
Very spotty Internet - only available in the master bedroom. Was not even able to download emails with the week Internet.

Great location just out of the craziness of the quarter, but walkable if you are like us and like to get some exercise in to work out all the amazing food NOLA has to offer. Only thing to be wary of there is no door to the upstairs bathroom so make sure whoever is staying up there is ok with going to the bathroom and showering in the open.

The house is in a great location between the Garden District and the Warehouse District, right off Magazine Street. We could easily walk to most places or take the bus/street car. The house looks exactly like the photos and had everything we needed. The second bedroom upstairs might not be suitable for everyone because of the steep stairs and sloping ceiling, but we had no issue with it and the bed was very comfortable. There was ample street parking right outside the house. The host was very responsive, and check in was super easy.

Quiet neighborhood. Place was comfortable with Air conditioning. Tucked behind a main house. A little in the middle of no man's land so a good mile + walk in either direction put you in french quarter or more in the heart of the garden district. Parking was really easy and plentiful and free on the street. St. charles street car was a few blocks up with helped in traveling. Plenty of towels. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were nice. Great Shower. Owner was very responsive. Steps to loft were a little challenging with luggage, but otherwise perfect for our teenage daughter.

The property has just right for us , we didn't have to go far for a nice breakfast/dinner or a drink . I will be planning another trip there next year

I highly recommend staying here. It is a great location. Easy walk to all of the shops and restaurants on magazine and the street car. It was very clean and comfortable. The kids loved the loft. And there was a nice little yard for our dog. The place was well stocked and we would definitely stay here again.

Our family had an amazing stay at Mandy’s home. My girls loved that they felt like they were sleeping in a treehouse and I especially loved how well everything had been cleaned. The house is also a short walk from the trolley stop (about 4 blocks) and we felt safe walking there and back during the day and later at night. If we come back to visit New Orleans, we’d definitely stay here again!

Check in and access was a breeze. Parking was on the street but the vacant lots next door and across the street meant fewer cars and more space to park near the property. Great neighborhood. Walking distance to many great restaurants. A dog in another part of the property barked until nearly 4 AM one night. Could hear noises, scuffling furniture and bumps from adjoining unit each day/night. The bed in the main level bedroom was uncomfortable and squeaked when you turned in bed. Washing machine was broken.

This is a very nice place. It is very well done, nicely appointed. I did not notice the warning about the ladder to the loft until after I booked. This did pose a bit of a challenge at our ages and could potentially pose a danger for others. Beyond that, it’s an excellent place, close to everything we wanted to do. I would book again but with fewer people and not need the loft.

Quick 2-night getaway and wish we had planned a longer stay. The location was perfect for walking to restaurants and gave us a really authentic New Orleans neighborhood feel. So much to do close by but also quiet enough if want to just walk around the beautiful district.
The apartment itself is super cute; I loved the aesthetic and the bedding and linens were super soft and clean. We didn't use the upstairs space but it's really big and bright. Will definitely be coming back with our friends and stay there again... this time for more than two nights!

The property is Uber cute! The loft area gives you club/tree house vibes. All the neighbors were so receptive to us. Even helped us out by jump starting our friends car.

Fantastic New Orleans Stay!!!
This unit was absolutely perfect! It was a great stay for me and my partner. Close to Magazine St and just a stone’s throw from downtown and the French Quarter - all while feeling like a tucked away oasis. The space was clean, updated, and comfortable!
I will not look anywhere else to find a place on my return visit. This place was perfect and the hosts were responsive and accommodating!
