The Space: Capt. Morgan's beach house, with its 3 floors and 5 bedrooms, is perfect for accommodating groups of 5-11 guests. Located on East Ashley Ave directly across the street from the beach access to Folly Beach, location and parking on the property will accommodate 2 small vehicles under the carport and one large vehicle out front. Street parking is also available for guests and extra cars, just make sure to pull all the way off the pavement.
The home can be accessed up the front ramp. You'll enter into the sunroom, which has a large screen tv equipped with popular streaming services. As you move through the open floor-plan into the kitchen, you'll pass a cozy seating area centered around a gas fireplace. The kitchen acts as the central hub of the house. With its high vaulted ceilings, large dining table for 10, as well as plenty of seating around the center island, the kitchen effortlessly accommodates the whole party while still feeling spacious. Here you'll find a well-outfitted kitchen for anything you might think of whipping up. The sliding door opens up to a back patio with propane grill, a comfortable outdoor seating area, as well as an outdoor dining table equipped with a large umbrella to provide ample shade- just make sure to put it down when not in use so the wind doesn't blow it away.
Back inside, two of the home’s five bedrooms can be found down the hallway on this floor. Each bedroom in the house is equipped with its own flatscreen SmartTV- feel free to log in to any of the provided apps with your own accounts. On the left side of the hallway you’ll find the master bedroom. Walking past the king bed, you’ll find the ensuite bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, large shower, impeccable views of the marsh, and private balcony. Across the hall you’ll find the 2nd bedroom, with a queen bed. The first floor bathroom is located next to the second bedroom, and has its own walk-in shower. Up the stairs you’ll find a bedroom with a queen bed, twin daybed, a dresser and plenty of room to hang your clothes. Down the stairs, passing the first floor landing, you make your way down to the ground floor. Here you’ll find the stackable washer/dryer as well as the final two bedrooms. The bedroom on the right provides an ideal place for reading with a queen bed surrounded by a built in bookshelf and ample lighting. The last bedroom has two cozy twin beds and opens up to the back yard and porch swing. Heading back towards the staircase, you’ll find a door leading out to the designated parking area as well as the outdoor shower. Walking past the stairs that lead to the kitchen patio, you’ll find the dock. With stellar views of the Morris island lighthouse and Ravenel Bridge, this might become your go-to spot to start your mornings and end your evenings.
Please note that primary bedrooms fireplace will not be operable until it is replaced in January.

The first property we booked ended up with flood damage before we checked in. We were notified immediately and we were offered three choices of houses to choose from. The one I chose was more expensive but we were not charged the additional cost. The home was beautiful, so clean and a perfect location. It was Easily walkable
To everything we wanted to do. We had a great weekend and would definitely rent again!

Captain Morgan was perfect for our girls weekend/friend reunion. Amazing location with beach access across the street (was easy to return to the house for additional items) and beautiful/peaceful marsh views from the kitchen and decks. Had to contact the property manager for a minor clarification and recieved a quick and timely response. Greatly appreciated the outdoor shower after trips to the beach. The house had a few boogie boards, a couple beach chairs and lots of games to choose from. Kitchen is well stocked with numerous pots/pans/cooking utensils. Came across multiple dirty dishes in the cabinets and drawers, but nothing major. The driveway is very tight and took some extra planning/strategy. Interior stairs are uneven height as well as not level so require some balance and concentration. There are 2 bedrooms on the main level if anyone has balance issues, has trouble walking, or needs to avoid the stairs. Overall, the house was neat, clean, comfortable and very relaxing space for 7 adults. Would happily return for a future stay!

Captain Morgans offered my family group of 9 a relaxing and fun home base for our first trip to Folly. The layout, decor, and landscaping were picture perfect. Every need was met, and lots of extras! We appreciated the quick access to the beach from the front and amazing marshland and lighthouse view from the pier in the back. We will most definitely return!

What a beautiful house! It was immaculate and stocked with high end appliances, surfaces, lighting, televisions, etc. It was a luxurious stay.
