Wonderful night’s stay!

The queen room is so comfortable!!!! They had a little fridge with ice cream and yogurt, a coffee machine and tea, they even made cookies. It was so peaceful.

It wasn’t really clear that the room was upstairs and that the hosts would be home.

A nice location at a reasonable price with a gracious hostess.

The home was beautiful and clean. Melissa was welcoming, helpful, and provided access to snacks and water. The towels in the bathroom were thick and great for a shower.

We are used to a firm mattress and had difficulty adjusting to softer/foam mattress.

Would not do it again

The only plus was it was close to the medical facility where I had appointments.

Well to start with the day before we were supposed to arrive there we got called and said that the guest house we had booked was unavailable. We were swapped out for another supposedly as nice place but that was not the case. We were put into a two bedroom that needed a lot of work done to it. The second bedroom had Linens tossed on to the bed but the bed was not made up. In the bathroom for two adults for a four night stay there were two towels. The average high temperature was 96° during our stay and the thermostat was locked out so you can make it no cooler than 73. Every 2 hours it automatically set itself back to 75 or 76. So it was uncomfortably warm. The area where we were was sketchy at best and very loud with traffic. The guest house we booked had a pool, the place we were put into did not. But I was told don't worry about it there's a park across the street. Yeah it is a public park and I didn't want to go over based on the traffic that was in the park. One reason we booked the guest house was because of the pool. This was a classic bait and switch in my opinion. I would avoid doing business with these people.

Exceptional

Melissa was promp, clear and provided top notch guest-care. I appreciate the accommodations she made, as well. The decore and atmosphere were lovely. Near several lakes, restaurants and shopping centers. The whole stay was very relaxing. Highly recommend!

Private. Great location.

Location was near downtown which was great, in residential neighborhood. Accommodation was private from main house which was great. Pool small but lovely to sit around it at night time.

Curtains could have been heavier/darker.

Good choice for a one night stand, at least for me. No complaints!

The hostess was very helpful in giving me some suggestions about local dining and sending me directions to the downtown area. The room was good-sized and has a private bath; bed was very comfortable. Very nice experience.

This is an older home in beautiful condition, but the private bath is TINY and could use some modernization. Otherwise, two thumbs up.

Comfortable guest house

The guest house was very clean and comfortable. Kitchenette was well supplied with any equipment desired for mid to longer term stays.

The driveway was rather narrow with limited space for parking our van. After.unloading we parked on a side street.

Clean and very comfortable.

Melissa was easy to communicate with, and the home is in a beautiful area near a lake and walking trail. Amenities are nearby. The bed was soooo comfortable and the room was beautifully decorated. Even though breakfast isn't included, there was an expresso machine and biscuits, which was great. Didn't get to use the pool. A very clean, welcoming place.

There isn't anything I didn't like.

Reminded us of our travels in Europe

Guest suite is in a separate wing of an Italianate home built in the 1920’s. Had a nice continental breakfast in the upstairs lounge area surrounded by original artwork.Comfy bed with quality sheets and towels. Hosts were great. Refrigerator with water and snacks was a nice touch. Will definitely stay again next time we are in Lakeland.

Our stay was okay.

Location

Room didn’t look like what was on the website. The property walkway/driveway was extremely dark. The guest house had a dank smell. The chairs were on the table. The bathtub was very badly stained. Not very welcoming.

Perfects host. Very nice house. Perfect distance to everything.

The bed was too soft for my liking. I woke up with backpain.

the tv didn’t work properly and no hot water for a shower. we left a day early The owners were working in their yard till late at night. No privacy

Heavy Load

Stayed before my cruise. I had a broken hand and Melissa carried my luggage upstairs and it was very heavy. I appreciate it and thanks very much. Will stay again next visit to Lakeland.
