Come & relax at our "Dock Holiday" lake home where you'll have access to our private dock & neighborhood launch site. From the moment you arrive, you'll want to kick off your shoes & be taken away in the beauty this home displays. It sets comfortably at the deep part of the lake so you won't have to worry about canal views! It has a Large Fenced yard! You may wake to find deer in the yard and enjoy watching as you sip your morning coffee overlooking Lake Granbury. You'll be able to watch the sun set each night while you set by the camp fire watching the fireflies dance in the evening light or the swing at the private dock. Bring your fishing gear & boat and come stay at Dock Holiday! The owner has put much thought into their home for guests to enjoy. This space has thought put into it!

Very, very nice property.
The house is well decorated, very clean, and really comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals.
The dock is superb and we were able to easily dock our boat in the slip.
Even though the fish weren't biting all that well, it was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a few days of vacation.

The lake house was amazing and relaxing. The huge dock had ample room to fish, park our boat, and hang out during the evenings. The best part of the dock was the wood swing, which my wife and I enjoyed sitting in while the boys fished. The house was the perfect size for a family of four. We enjoyed the large plush sectional couch while watching movies in the evening. The host communicated quickly before during and after the stay. We will definitely return in the near future for another quick lake getaway.

My sister and I take a trip with our 82 yr old Mom every summer. Her health and mobility issues have made accessible vacation homes in locations close to home a requirement.
We are from Fort Worth so the drive was less than 45 minutes and the house was absolutely PERFECT. It is a charming looking home on a quiet street. The inside is impeccably decorated, incredbly warm, welcoming and comfortable. It was spotless and everything was in excellent condition both inside and out. It is exceptionally well appointed. Everything you need to have a wonderful stay including coffee pods, creamers and a little basket of snacks as well as children's toys and lots of games are available. The open concept style of the home is warm and inviting and we could have easily entertained more than just the 3 of us. The beds were very comfortable as well. Our favorite part was being able to sit on the back patio and enjoy the lovely view of the lake- eapecially the sunsets. The backyard is beautifully landscaped and maintained with a lovely large old shade tree as a centerpiece. There are multiple sitting areas outside including the porch swing on the large dock which is in excellent condition. With my mom's physical limitations, we are not able to be very active so this beautiful home gave us the perfect place to visit and "escape" on a girls' weekend. We have never visited the same vacation rental twice, but we are already planning to come back to this AMAZING home again next year!

We enjoyed our time at the Dock House. Among the best things were:
• The property manager responded quickly to our questions.
• Our favorite thing was the lighted, covered dock. We spent most of our time on the dock fishing, including at night. We caught a few fish, including catfish (including lots of baby catfish), white bass, perch and gar. We used worms and minnows for bait. Although we would have liked to have caught more fish, we still had a decent catch.
• The washer and dryer and the laundry soap are an excellent feature on the property. It was nice to be able to come home with all clean clothing (rather than clothing that smelled like fish) from the trip.
• The kitchen has several useful items, including a good number of spices. However, we were glad that we brought our own foil.
• The house was clean. The beds were really comfortable.
• The gas grill was nice. We used it to cook most of our meals.
We would consider staying at this property again.

The house was just as advertised. It was very clean had everything we could’ve needed (and more) and it’s just steps from the lake. Great dock with a swing to have morning coffee or watch the sunset. The property is totally fenced in so perfect too for the dog. We will definitely stay there again and we highly recommend it!

We planned a quick weekend getaway and this was the perfect home! We were able to bring our boat and use the dock and slip which made it so awesome! Comfy beds, plenty of room to hang out, and the sunset off the dock was absolutely breathtaking. We will definitely be booking Dock Holiday again!!

This was our second time staying at Dock Holiday and it was just as great as the last time. The beds are so comfortable and the house is clean and cozy. The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful. The house had everything we needed and even had extras to accomodate children, including toys, books, and plastic dishes. Our host was amazing and always replied back to us quickly. This is the perfect spot to stay in Granbury! I cannot reccommend it enough!

My friend and I had an absolutely wonderful time at the lake house. The house was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. We enjoyed our Happy Hour out on the dock each evening, watching the boats, jet skis and ducks. My little dog had the best time too. The property is completely fenced and she loved the freedom to explore! It couldn’t have been nicer. Our stay was A++!

Beautiful well kept property on Lake Granbury. The house is beautifully decorated and has a cottage feel. A wall of large windows face the lake and is breathtaking. A nice getaway from the City. Enjoy nature, birdwatching, yard games. This home is fully stocked with everything you need. Entire yard is fenced and our dog loved exploring the property. Highly recommend this property.

There aren’t words to describe how perfect and cozy and accommodating this house is. Completely pet friendly, barrier completely fenced. Home was cozy and wide open. Plenty of sleep places allowed for a couple extra in and out family members here and there. The backyard was an oasis. Several seperate seating areas and activity areas. Fire pit was perfect for s’mores in the evenings, jet ski loading dock 2 houses down. Was even willing to accommodate my last minute request to add a dog to my stay. extra blankets and kitchen ware for every need we had. Will definately be back to treat my kids in the future.

This place is AMAZING! It had everything we were looking for in a vacation rental for our quick girls getaway trip, but would also be perfect for small families. The house was decorated so nicely and everything was very comfortable. The sofa was so big and cozy and perfect for movie night. We really enjoyed watching birds around the lake in the beautifully landscaped backyard. It is close enough to town that a grocery store is just minutes away if you need anything, and is tucked away in a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood right on the lake. I can't wait to visit again with my family!

This was our second getaway to this property. Both times we have found it to be peaceful and restorative. During the week it was quiet, with hardly any boats on the lake and no neighbors to be heard. My wife and I both love to relax and read and there are many places to sit and do both at Liz's place. I drowned a few worms from the dock, we ate out at Stumpy's, The Eighteen Ninety Grill and Restaurant Anise. If you like walking, the neighborhood is quite peaceful and the Moments in Time walking trail is a short drive away and very nice as well. Of course, the house was spick and span, ready for us to relax. A wonderful encore, I expect Liz will hear from us again.

Out of the many Vrbo properties I have been to, this one exceeded my expectations by far. The attention to cleanliness and comfort details was unmatched from any other property we have stayed. Communication with the host was outstanding and Liz was so helpful and accommodating. We had the best time relaxing on the back porch while the kiddos played. The swing on the dock was perfect for sitting with our morning coffee. The kids loved the seesaw in the back and roasting marshmallows by the fire at night. We will definitely be back. Thanks Liz!
