Beware!!!! We initially booked back in October based on the nice pictures posted and the description of the property only to arrive and find the total opposite. As a group of females we did not feel safe or comfortable staying in the neighborhood or at the house so we decided to leave after being there for only 5 minutes. I messaged the owner immediately that same day and never received a response which also lead me to contact Vrbo. I reached out to Vrbo again the next day and informed them I never heard back from the owner and they contacted him and had us talk on the phone so we could come to an agreement. While on the phone with the owner, I have never felt so disrespected and disregarded in my life. After expressing my concerns with him I was met with this dismissive attitude saying that our concerns, experience, and what we witnessed about the house and neighborhood was wrong and a LIE. He repeatedly said over and over again nobody else has had concerns with the house and that what I was saying was not true, even after having VIDEO and PHOTO proof. I have NEVER in my life been so offended by a host as he was rude and constantly tried to invalidate our concerns for safety. Even while the representative was on the phone listening, he was still very nasty and disgusting towards me and even started to raise his voice. After realizing we would not come to a civil resolution, I told Vrbo to escalate the case. All I can say is be careful!!!

It went well.

This is NOT a luxury villa as advertised. Upon arriving, we found the gate to be broken and all outside lights out. When we opened the door an extremely strong odor hit us in the face. Think highly antiseptic and so strong it actually started burning your eyes and nose. We immediately got in contact with the property owner who promptly returned our call and suggested we open some windows. We did so, but the smell never lessened. We were there for about 30 minutes and realized we could not stay. We had bridesmaids arriving in a couple hours and had to scramble to find something else suitable. I left word with the contact that we would not be staying as the smell was too terrible and that I would reach out after my daughter's wedding to discuss a refund. I contacted vrbo, and they were very helpful and gave me the direct number to contact the owner. I texted and got a quick reply saying they would look into it get back to me. I reached out several more times via text and also sent messages via the vrbo chat and they ghosted me. I am now working with my credit card company to dispute the charges. In regards to the property, it honestly smelled like a strong disinfectant trying to cover up the smell of pot, so perhaps the owners were doing their best to get rid of the smell. However, even if you are considering renting this place, know ahead of time that it is in a sketchy area and there isn't ANYTHING luxury about the inside.

The house is large but poorly furnished. There were not enough dishes (coffee cups) for more than 4 people. Bathroom situation isn't great for 6 people and more would be worse.

The stay was a breeze there was a problem with the flusher on the toilet & lights but it was fixed immediately

The girls and I had so much fun in this house! The house itself was beautiful and all bedrooms were very spacious! This house was close downtown so Uber was not expensive!

My family and I stayed here for about a week and the stay was awesome. The house was very comfortable and has a lot of space to accommodate a large group. The host was very responsive and addressed any questions or concerns we had. I would definitely book again!

Our stay was great! The house had plenty of room for 12 adults! We enjoyed our stay!

Property need a lot of maintenance. Lot of items broken including interior doors. Bird nest in the kitchen exhaust. Roaches were in the kitchen sink area. We had seven people in our group so the unit had sufficient bedding.

The property manager was magnificent. Had great communication and ensured that we had everything needed goa good stay.

We first noticed that the home was noted as luxury home while the house looked nice. It was in a not so nice area.. the homes around the house were a little rundown the area overall it was a little sketchy. There was people walking around outside all the time a lot of homeless people near the area. About the second night we were. There are car alarm went off twice the middle of the night. It didn’t do it for the rest of the time we were there so we can only assume someone was trying to get into our vehicle, which was a very nice rental. There was only one TV and that was in the living room. The home hadn’t been cleaned very well. The sheets were really dirty in the room with all the bunkbeds there was actually mice poop on one of the beds. The stove was dirty the cabinets for really dirty. There was dirty tissue in the upstairs bedroom. The master bathroom shower had what looked like coffee grounds in a little shelf that was made from tile..later on I noticed that there were black ants living in it, so I’m not sure if it was some thing from under the grout or what was going on. I did message the owner to let them know that it was not clean and I sent them pictures. I did ask for a broom to clean a little bit. We did leave the tissue upstairs so the cleaners could see it. We did not touch it but upon check out, my husband did another walk-through and took a video as how we had left the house because we took one upon arrival as well. The tissue upstairs ended up having chicken bones in it and mice were eating the chicken bones when he was videotaping. Which, if we had known that there was food in the tissue we definitely would’ve picked it up. We ended up leaving 2 days early from his house. Because of the house and the location. The house was decorated beautifully though very minimal, but I would definitely not describe it as luxury it’s an older home that had some updates. None of the outlets in the bathrooms work I don’t have hair because I have stage four cancer and that’s why we were in Texas to get a second opinion but my mom had to sit in the hallway with her phone camera on to fix her hair . I did have communication with the owners previously before coming down and while we were there and they were very nice. We could not see the location before it was booked on any of the houses that we had looked at. We wanted something close to MD Anderson. However, I would not recommend this home for multiple reasons. We were very disappointed.

It is beautiful house. Open space concept. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. It was so clean. Love the master bedroom with the large walk-in closet.

Excellent stay without any complaints

The property was only a 10 minute drive to downtown-nice home beds were good. Just no stores or resturants right around it more single family homes-5 min drive to eat

8 of us stayed here for a weekend. House was exactly as it is in the pictures and description. Owners were quick to reply when I had a question. Would rent again.
