Exceptionally located with a beautiful view

The location is fabulous, considering that it's just 5 minutes walk from the train station and the terrace accords the view of the street as well as the sea. It's located on the main Street of the Riomaggiore which makes it super convenient. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The host even offered us a complimentary bottle of wine!

The bathroom & toilet is on a different floor level than the bedrooms which makes it a bit of a hassle especially during night time. As the apartment is located on the busy street, there is a lot of noise at all times. In the early morning garbage collection happens on the same street which creates terrible noise.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Location was amazing and the very large balcony such a great space to enjoy the village and the sea.

The bathroom is upstairs and the bedrooms are downstairs. Get used to lots of stairs.

great view , great location n very comfortable stay there

room is big and clean , great location with view on the top floor terrace. host is very nice to give us enough info during our stay at the village .

the only complaint I have is the bathroom at the separate floor, which is not very convince but for most of the houses in village are very small n remodeling their max capacity , so the layout of the house can’t complain too much

Fantastic base for a wonderful time in Cinque Terra!

Apartment was sparkling clean , with all of necessities for cooking I.e. olive oil, salt, pepper, coffee, etc. well stocked for cooking utensils. Andrew was so responsive to any question or issue( our train was delayed by earthquake) offered alternative transportation. Video showing where apartment was located was genius!! Deck had a fantastic view of town and the sunsets!! Couldn’t ask for anything better!!

All in all a great fantastic experience.

This place it has prime location! It was literally less than a 10 min walk from the train st. Less than 10 min walk to the beach, the panoramic points, the Marina, the church and the castle. It is atop the main little road which is very lively and offers plenty of restaurants, bars, bakeries, deli markets and ice cream stores. The apartment was very clean and spacious with a lovely sea & city view balcony which was big enough to accommodate a family of 6 comfortably with table and chairs. The kitchen was also super well equipped. The host was very helpful and offered plenty of help when we were considering driving and needed guide for parking saces. He also sent accesibility videos though whatsapp to help reach the place easily. The videos were very helpful. Check in with the lock key was smooth and he was very responsive to us when we contacted him with wifi troubles. The whole city is a way up or downhill so we were happy we packed light and that we changed our minds from driving and left the car instead parked at La Spezia where the train was only 8 min. The place was great and we would definitely recommend it.

The views, the place, and the location was wonderful, would come back any day.

The location and view was amazing! The place itself was beautiful and had a fun layout with the kitchen upstairs. Plus, the terrace offers amazing views of the water and city itself.

short walk to the Cliff at Riomaggiore

very clean, close to train station, partial sea view terrace, eateries and supermarket near by. modern bath and kitchen.

TV was not working. the heating and hot water was a slow. old left over toiletries for guests. Old left over condiments and cooking ingredients in pantry for guest

Amazing view with a great location in Riomaggiore

Great location in Riomaggiore, close to the bottom of town making it not too much of a climb to get to the apt, at least compared to some of the other places to stay. Amazing views from the roof top deck and very large place, with 2 bedrooms, a living room and kitchen. The layout is a little strange with the bathroom and kitchen on the top floor.

Just a warning that the stairs are fairly narrow and steep. The heat also didn't work when we arrived and there were no instructions for the property. By the time we realized there was a problem with the heat it was late and we didn't get a response until the following morning, so 1 night without heat in winter was not ideal, though at least it wasn't bitter cold that night.

very clean central apartment with great view. Owner was super responsive and always helping with text on check in and check out and everything else.

The only grime was that the bathroom and the bedrooms were in different floor.

Lots of stairs, but worth it for the patio view

Location was good, right in the middle of Riomaggiore. Lots of restaurants, bars, shops on the street right outside. Spacious place (2 full bedrooms, decent living room, plus kitchen, bathroom, small back patio & big front patio upstairs). Everything was nice generally, but the patio/view was AMAZING. I probably would’ve put up with even more inconveniences for that. Spent as much time as I could sitting out there - reading a book, watching a show on my phone, chatting with friends. Beautiful!

LOTS of stairs. Like, several stairs to get to the front door, then a narrow hallway with more stairs from front door to apartment door, then the apartment itself is 2 levels (kitchen/bathroom/patio a floor above living room/bedrooms). Had older parents, and it was definitely a climb for them, especially with luggage. (Not to lie: I was definitely a bit winded myself to get inside, even without luggage.) The bathroom being on the higher floor especially was a bit annoying, if you had to pee in the middle of the night or something. But honestly, I think that’s pretty common for apartments/bigger places in the Cinque Terre, and especially Riomaggiore (a “steep” town). Just know to plan: it might not be the right option for anyone with mobility difficulties!

Authentic style of Italy, comfort and enjoyments

I liked everything in the penthouse, including location, price, clearness. I can highly recommend this place for those people who would like to enjoy authentity of Italy.

As a penthouse has windows looking on the main street, some night clubs/restaurant noice can slightly disturb you. However, for us this was not a problem at all noice loundness were acceptable.

Very very central, amazing rooftop terrace with one of the best views, free wine bottle as gift, easy check-in, very helpful staff. All in all amazing place.

Superb

The terras has the most amazing view over Riomaggiore and the sea. You need to walk some stairs, but worth it. Dining table, chairs and sun beds are all there. The lemon tree at the back made us some nice lemon water.
