Disappointing
I was told on arrival that 8 people would be coming to dinner the next night (Friday) and that there would be some food preparation etc. required before hand too. I think these are paying dinner guests. My bedroom/living area had an internal locked door with a large gap at the bottom to the owner's kitchen / dining room through the common wall and a large ceiling duct that was not entirely sealed so you could see the space/light next door. Both of these meant the noise from this kitchen could be heard. The food preparation time was from around 8.00 - 10.00am on the Friday. I went out after this time. The after dinner clean up in the kitchen went on until around 11.00pm. On that Friday evening my ensuite shower room suddenly had visitors to an adjoining WC which was behind a fitted partition board that had large spaces above and below so you could hear them even from your bedroom area with the shower room door closed. Guests are not given the wifi password but I knew that in advance.

The location was perfect for my needs and the room and it's patio was better than expected. The host went out of his way to help me feel welcome and looked out for extra needs that came up. Perfect for me.

Location is very good. We did not eat at the place. The host was friendly and helpful. Will stay at this location again.
