Very friendly owner but small details need to be addressed

Very friendly owner and Good location with great train connections to central London.

I was quite disappointed with the cleanliness. There were multiple layers of dust on the furniture and under the bed, which was a clear sign that the cleaning standards were subpar. Additionally, the bedding, including the sheets and other linens, seemed quite old and worn out. It was challenging to assess their cleanliness due to their condition. In today's market, you can easily find modern, bedding for just £20 at the nearest tesco, so there really is no excuse for providing guests with outdated linens.

Reasonable place to stay for one night prior to travelling to Gatwick for a flight ,

Good

Simple clean room with a fridge. Host was friendly, helpful and available and he kindly offered to use the kitchen including his food (I did not need to cook though).

Bathroom could be cleaner.

I'd use it again

It was a good stay for a reasonable price. Many stores close by to buy food etc.

It is not the most central place, but you can get to central London within an hour which is acceptable.

Cheap but good value for money.

The location. Very close to what I wanted like the local mosque, shops and take out restaurants The room is large and airy. No aircon but the room had a very good fan. We were allowed to use all facilities in the kitchen. A huge plus. Shared bathroom clean and large. Premises very quiet. Landlord very accommodating and polite.

Although the bathroom was shared, it was ok as I never saw the other guest. But i would still preferred not having to share. The landlord did provide a choice of 2

Good value, quiet, comfortable, warm welcome.

Comfortable, large bedroom. Well-appointed, clean bathroom and kitchen. Friendly welcome. Basic materials for breakfast. Quiet. I slept right through the night.

No towel. No bacon to be eaten, out of respect for the owner’s Moslem values. Shared bathroom, but this was made clear before booking. Limited check-in times.
