About this townhouse rental

This Georgian townhouse is full of beautiful original features and chic Scandi design, offering a base that’s as comfortable as it is central. Located in Elephant and Castle, you’re in a prime position to discover the delights of Westminster, Southbank, as well as vibrant Southwark where countless cultural gems wait to be explored. Laid out over four floors, you’ll find wood floors and a pared-back modern decor that brings soft textures, eye-catching ornaments and a calm, cool colour palette together in effortless harmony. Make yourself comfortable on the living room’s sofa or armchair with one of the many books on the shelves or snuggle up by the dining room’s fireplace with a glass of wine before sitting down to a feast at the wooden dining table perfectly positioned in front of the room’s large sash windows. The two bedrooms are equally peaceful and chic with the main bedroom taking up the entirety of the second floor. Factor in the home’s Egyptian cotton sheets, luxury toiletries and the desk space in the living room that’s ideal should you need to catch up on work, and you’ve got everything you need for a perfectly relaxing time. When it comes to sightseeing, you’re spoilt for choice with the Imperial War Museum a five-minute walk, the London Eye an eighteen-minute stroll and Big Ben twenty-four minutes away on foot. You’re also a twenty-minute walk from both the Tate Modern and Borough Market, while the towering Shard is just under thirty minutes on foot from your door. Home truths: *This home is laid out over four floors with internal stairs between them, so it may not be suitable for those with limited mobility – there are also four steps leading up to the home's front door *A cot, high chair, as well as children's books and toys are available on request *At capacity, one guest will sleep on the trundle bed in the second bedroom *The washing machine and freezer are located in the ‘coal hole’ accessed via stairs leading from the kitchen *Your host kindly asks that shoes are removed while inside the home *The home's entrance is private *Self-check-in is available *We recommend skipping the car here and making use of London's excellent public transport instead – Elephant & Castle station is a six-minute walk away
