About this apartment rental

Situated in an Edwardian building, this Stylish, spacious, light and airy 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with off road private parking space, is perfectly situated with the beach at one end of the road and shops, bars and restaurants at the other. There is allocated off road private parking for one vehicle.

There is a large open plan living area with sofa, lounge chairs, table and chairs and well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine.

This large apartment offers a king size en-suite bedroom and a large 2nd bedroom which can be set up as Super King or Triple single beds.

A maximum of 4 single adults can be accommodated in separate beds. No parties, stagg or hen nights.

Please note there is ring doorbell covering the entrance to the property.

From the property it is few minutes walk to Southsea Shops, that offer supermarkets, numerous bars, restaurants, pubs, snack bars, take away, high street & boutique shops, all the shopping amenities you should need. The Beach, Pyramids leisure centre, Southsea castle and D-Day Museum are also a few minutes’ walk from the apartment across the common at the bottom of the road. A little further is Canoe Lake (with play park, model village, boating lake, tennis courts, beach, pier, areas to picnic)

Close to local bus routes, cycle path and promenade.

We are trying to do our bit for the environment
Wherever possible we are trying to avoid single use plastics and buy local/British to lower the carbon footprint by providing the following:
Milk in reusable glass bottles (as far as possible/time permitting)
Refillable toiletries in reusable bottles (please don't throw them away!) They are British-made and Cruelty free too
Environmentally friendly loo roll - Who gives a crap Made from re-cycled paper with no plastic packaging.
We provide a washable microfibre cloth for dishes rather than single use cloths.
Quiet hours 11pm to 8am
Please leave the apartment clean and tidy as you found it.
No house parties, hen or stag parties without prior agreement.
Only booked guests are permitted in the apartment

Refundable damage deposit of £150 collected via charge-automation. On-line check-in required post booking ID may be requested.

The following charges may be applied :
Lost keys £30
Extra Cleaning £20 per hour - We allow for 2.5 hours cleaning per stay if it takes longer, we will have to charge you the additional cleaning cost.
Up to 2 dogs allowed a £25 fee applies per stay.

Utilities are subject to a Fair and Acceptable Usage Policy. Should the allowance be exceeded, we reserve the right to apply a supplemental charge to cover this amount. Information surrounding the Fair Usage Allowance can be requested and found on our website.

It was really lovely and the box of goodies a great touch. Kitchen had every utensil and equipment, lovely saucepans etc that you could want, but not much storage for our items that we brought with us. Only downside for us was that the builders were in working from just after 8 am on the flat below. Our children were in in a Dance Festival and really needed their sleep!

The apartment was perfectly located - Waitrose just round the corner and bus stop just across the road (we spent our days in the Dockyard). While we did experience one issue, the owners were quick to sort it out.

We visited for a long weekend for an event in Portsmouth. Communication with the owners was spot in and arrival and departure arrangements were ideal. The flat was perfectly clean and tastefully decorated with comfortable beds / furniture, well-equipped kitchen, very good Wi-Fi and some nice welcoming touches. Off street parking for one car was ideal. Some lovely places to eat very close by. The flat is just a short walk to the seafront and attractions (castle / D-Day museum / etc) and slightly longer walk to the historic dockyard and the shops and restaurants at Gunwharf Quays. We’re expecting to visit Portsmouth again next year and would definitely stay here again if it was available.

Smell in on suite bathroom .5th front centre step is loose . Hot water service had not been turned on .

Nicely decorated flat, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Close to the seaside, shops and restaurant in a lovely area of Portsmouth.
