This hilltop home has a wraparound deck affording panoramic views of Morro Bay Rock and the Pacific. Hardwood floors, casual coastal decor, and high-end renovations in the kitchen and bathrooms make this a comfortable home base for exploring the area. This home is a mile from Embarcadero, where you can enjoy shops, marina activities, kayaking, bay cruises, beaches, and seafood restaurants. There is also the San Luis Obispo Farmers Market, whale watching, lighthouse tours, surfing, fishing, and more shopping in the area. You're just a short drive from Montana de Oro State Park, Cambria, and Hearst Castle. San Luis Obispo and California Polytechnic State University are a little further. Avila Beach, Pismo Beach, and Monarch Butterfly Grove are also nearby, and you can be in Paso Robles and Edna Valley wine regions after driving a couple dozen miles.

Later, challenge everyone to a ping pong tournament in the garage. On the third floor, you'll find a room that's perfect for kids. This space includes a futon that converts to a full bed, a twin-over-twin bunk, and a 32" TV with a DVD player.

We have stayed in Morro Bay before, and this was our first time at this house. The photos represent it perfectly. Clean, quiet, nice views, all the extras like apices, tp, etc. Ping pong table made for a fun evening playing with the college kids. I’d stay here again.

The house is wonderful and accommodating. The company needs to improve on its customer service. The auto locking door doesn’t work when my family first arrived , the bbq needs to be cleaning out.

Our visit to the Hillcrest Haven was wonderful! The only issues that we had was that it would get very stuffy in the house if you closed the windows, and the fan in the bunk room didn’t work well. If you stay here, you might want to bring a fan or two to help circulate the air or for warm days. We had a lovely time

So enjoyable. A quick drive into Morro Bay for restaurants and sightseeing, and not a bad walk when you take neighborhood streets. Quiet and welcoming. Ping pong table in the garage was a fun plus for our family!

Location of this home is great for those who want to spend time on the central coast. We were able to explore beaches, state parks and little towns up the coast. Lots of room and amenities for us as couple with pets, but could see this as a great summer stay for a larger family. A bit overboard on the amount of communication from property management company. Enjoyed our stay.

Great communication with the owner/management company from the start. The location is located minutes to DT Morro Bay yet far enough away from the traffic and daily people that if you never left the house you would be content with the view and accommodations.

My only recommendation is to bring extra hand soap, detergent, and trash bags, particularly if you plan to stay more than 3 days and your stay falls on a Thursday when trash is collected.

My only recommendation is to bring extra hand soap, detergent, and trash bags, particularly if you plan to stay more than 3 days and your stay falls on a Thursday when trash is collected.

the location is just fine, no issues there. the texting with property mgmt had the potential to be a great way to communicate, but it quickly dissolved into frustration, when we couldn't get a repair guy to come out and fix a broken bathroom door handle. you could get in, but couldn't get out hardly at all. we had talked to (per my estimate) 3 different people via text, and it seemed i had to keep repeating the same info each time. we got so frustrated i told them to just forget it, as it was ruining our experience in Morro Bay. if something big like this comes up in a home, the expectation is there to be a timely resolution. and they just failed to meet that expectation. the home itself is rather aged, which seems to be typical of most places in Morro Bay. also, when i asked for a couple of more trash bags, (since we had a longer stay of 7 nights) they gave me a long winded explanation before essentially saying no we wont do that for you. this was the straw that broke the camel's back. this was a simple ask, and they couldn't even meet that expectation. i think i would not stay here again, so i wouldn't have to deal with this property mgmt company again. good luck to all those who stay here in the future.

This place was perfect for our two small families and dogs! Comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen, and a spacious living room pretty much gave us everything we needed so we could travel to various locations with no trouble at all. We had a couple of questions, and they were answered quickly and to our satisfaction. We highly recommend this location!

We really enjoyed this property. It was perfect for our family. Our teens enjoyed the bunk room and my elderly parents were able to manage the stairs. The views are great. I only wish the deck had been a little bigger- and I think it should be redone soon. That would be a great upgrade for the property. Everything was super clean and we’ve already booked it for next year!

Great place close to everything
We loved staying at this house. It was clean, the neighborhood was quiet and safe and it had a great view of Morro Bay. The neighborhood is not very walkable since it's on a hill and there is no sidewalk, but it is a 5 minute drive from the main points of interests in Morro Bay and a 15-20 minute drive to SLO.
It has everything that you need for a comfortable stay. My favorite was the kid's room, my toddler loved the decor and to be able to watch movies in the room.
Would love to stay there again another time!

Upon first blush we were all impressed. The pictures for the front room and the kitchen. the view is great and the neighborhood is quiet. The back yard is just dirt and the porch light does not light up over the BBQ making it difficult to BBQ. We hade a problems BBQ steaks we purchased for the second night. There is no place to sit in the back and there was tiny pieces of glass on the dirt so taking my dog in the back yard for potty was a little scary. The heat is only in the hallway. In the afternoon it is really hot and only 1 fan in the whole house. The BBQ issue did get resolved but I was back and forth with someone texting and I think there was 3 different people telling me different things. I got very frustrated because I was trying to have fun with my family to have to stop and text back and forth the whole morning. I think the house if overpriced. The 3rd bedroom is only good for kids. My adult niece had to stay on the futon and the sheets on the twin beds were not clean.
