We stayed with our dog for 5 nights. The stars were beautiful and the valley had far clear views. Secluded is correct, it was a very private location. The directions were clear to get to, and we arrived at midnight. The code we were given didn’t work but we quickly were able to contact the host and get another. The house was well equipped, there are many places to hang out, outside. The hanging swings, the lawn chairs by the fireplace, the patio, and the trailer with deck was a nice place to go in the afternoon. We didn’t use the cowboy pool because we should have swept out the red dust before we started and decided to stop filling it. The hot tub worked well. The only thing to be cautious of are the many cholla cactus around, the spines stick to your shoes then can track in the house. We got them stuck in our feet before realizing where they came from. Our dog got them in her paw and then her tongue when she tried to remove them. Be careful! The laundry room had a funny odd smell but you only spend a few minutes in there anyway. Kitchen could use more dishrags, mixing bowls, but I cook more than most people. Bed was comfortable, nice long table, comfortable couch. Limited storage for clothes and places to put stuff. Overall a beautiful property and we have lots of great memories. I would go back.

I mean this property is gorgeous just insanely beautiful. The propane tank was full so we could sit by the fire every morning drinking our coffee watching the morning birds move around. Make sure to read the instructions to get to the house via the trip manager and not the email. Make sure to arrive when it’s light out can be difficult to find.

We went up for a short vacation before having to go back to work after the holidays. We had a little trouble getting into the house with the codes and all but everyone was quick to pick up our calls and worked to figure out our issues. The views are beautiful, especially at night. It's quick, remote and just what we wanted. Be sure to read their instructions on how to get there. Your GPS will probably mess up the first time.

Gorgeous views, comfortable, quiet and private. Exactly the perfect retreat that I needed while dealing with a family emergency in the area. Last minute booking went seamlessly; couldn't make the keypad entry work, but taken care of immediately by property management.

Our stay at Desert Noir was a memorable experience filled with breathtaking beauty and a sense of remote tranquility. Nestled in a picturesque location, the property offers stunning views that make waking up each morning feel like a dream. The house itself exudes a professionally decorated charm, with thoughtful touches that add to its allure. The seclusion of this place is a true gem; you'll feel like you're in your own private paradise. The landscape and surroundings add to the feeling of being somewhere truly special. However, while the property has its high points, it's clear that it's in need of some maintenance. Many of the potted plants were dead, some decorations and outdoor lights were broken, and some amenities required attention. The pool had a leak and was completely drained after a day at the park, the pool filter was out of order. The outdoor shower was also non-functional. We were informed that the hot tub had a leak but after refilling it, it seemed to hold up. One aspect that raised concerns was the outdoor camper, which had "danger" and "keep out" signs on it. Check-In was unclear, the emails say meet face to face, but after four calls to figure out where to go I found out they just call you at check-in time with the lock code In summary, Desert Noir has the potential to be a truly stunning property with a little TLC. While there were some misses during our stay, they were not show stoppers, and we would definitely consider returning for another visit

Me and my partner enjoyed our stay at the property. It was secluded and peaceful while being close to Joshua tree national park. The cleanness was a little below our expectations but it is understandable since the house is in rural area and it’s easy to get some dust. Overall we enjoyed our stay over there.
