11-20-2024 - as per the condo association - in preparation for painting, on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, TWI will be pressure washing the hallway walls on the 4th through 11th floors. 11-12-2024 hurricane update- power restored, one elevator functioning in the building, pool and hot tub not operational (pool expected to be up and running around December 6th 2024 with use restricted (see 8-1-2024 update), no estimated date for the hot tub restoration. The unit will be advertised at a lower rate because of these issues; no further compansation will be extended.

UPDATED ON JAN. 1st 2024.... The exterior of this building at Lighthouse Towers is getting remodeled starting 10-23-2023 until possibly the end of 2024. You may hear construction noise during the day
Update on 8-1-2024 - Until further notice, and for the safety of all due to exterior renovations, the condo association is requiring the pool, BBQ grills, pool restrooms, and Pool Pavilion be closed Monday through Friday, during the contractor's working hours, which are from 8 am to 4 pm. The pool will be cleaned and reopened each weekday at 4 pm, and the pool will remain open during regular pool hours on the weekend.
Update on 9-10-2024 - Roof Contractors will be replacing the roof from approximately November 25th, 2024, and the project will last approximately 40 days. The hot tub access is restricted until further notice.
This unit must be booked at least 11 days in advance of check in, and the HOA application must be returned to us within 24 hours of booking. If booked with less than 11 days to check in, as per the HOA, we must decline the booking. 2-week minimum stay required.
This Beach front/ Beach view 2-bedroom 2 bath condo sits directly on Sand Key Beach, and the view from the 9th floor is TO DIE FOR!!! 2-week minimum booking required. Sand Key sits adjacent to Clearwater Beach, and both beaches are rated as the loveliest beaches in the WORLD! This unit sleeps up to 7; there is a king-sized bed in the master bedroom, a queen/full bed in the 2nd bedroom, a queen pull-out sleeper sofa in the living area, and a one person hide-away cot located in the master bedroom closet. The unit has a full kitchen stocked with kitchen ware, a dining area, and has a stacked washer/dryer in the unit. Located in Lighthouse Towers, there is a beautiful inground pool and jacuzzi, that also sports tennis courts, pickle ball, basketball, and shuffleboard courts, in a resort-like setting. Simply lovely!
Again, this unit must be booked at least 11 days in advance of check in, and the HOA application must be returned to us within 24 hours of booking. The condo association requires a signed rental agreement and guest registration form be received at least 10 days prior check in. This means at your time of booking the forms must be filled out and returned to us within a day, and we forward to the HOA for their approval. Guest parking spots are limited and temporary and must be arranged with the HOA management. In Airbnb, "beds" show the one-person cot as a floor mattress, however it is a stow-away fold up twin bed, not a floor mattress, and it is located in the master bath closet.
The owner supplies 2 beach chairs, and iron/ironing board. There is both a small regular coffee maker and a K-cup coffee maker.
Age minimum: One guest must be at least 25 years old. Under the ADA and Florida law, owners of public accommodations are not required to allow emotional support animals, only documented service animals. Rates on OPEN DATES are often subject to change. TRAVEL INSURANCE IS RECOMMENDED, AS THERE IS A STRICT NO REFUND POLICY!!! IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL, YOU WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. THE NO REFUND POLICY INCLUDES NO REFUNDS DUE TO HEALTH CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, WEATHER CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, WATER CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND INCLUDING COLD WATER OR RED TIDE, OR TRANSPORTATION OR ROAD CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND INCLUDING FLIGHT CANCELLATIONS. We cannot guarantee pools will be warm during cold weather months and will not give discounts or refunds should a guest experience cold pool water temperatures. Esas are not allowed by the HOA or the owner, and the Hoa requires documentation to be given to them and verified by their attorney in advance of your stay, or a guest with a service animal will be charged with a $100 daily fee until PROPER SERVICE ANIMAL PROOF is provided to the HOA and verified by the Associations Attorney.
Please understand what can come with the potential aftermath of a Hurricane. There may be closures of the following, that could possibly last weeks, if not longer: restaurants/shops, roads, certain amenities offered, beaches, Wi-Fi/cable, pools, elevators, etc. Our owners will stand behind their no refund cancellation policy for any of these inconveniences and will not be making anyone the exception. Again, this is why we HIGHLY recommend purchasing good travel insurance. There should be a few policies offered towards the end of your booking process. One of which should allow you to cancel for any reason (CFAR). However, it is important for you, to do your proper research in confirming what exclusions, if any, exist for that particular policy. If none are offered to you, you can always contact another 3rd party travel insurance company. Date changes, rain checks, or compensation will also not be options under these circumstances! Hurricane season, again, falls between June 1st and November 30th.

Since we stayed 2 weeks, we had our daughter and her family stay for the first week and then my granddaughter and her friend came down 2nd week.

Overall impression was positive. We had a problem finding the key which should have been in the lockbox, but was not. Property management responded quickly so our delay getting in was minimal. The only major disappointment was the ongoing construction on all the gulf side balconies. We were not able to use the balconies at all, and the views from the unit were blocked by plywood barriers about chest high. There was also morning noise that went with this construction. We were informed of this circumstance months after confirming our stay, and it was too late to get a refund or alternate place. I was told that the owner would probably offer a partial refund. So far, I’ve not received anything and the management rep tells me the owner has not responded to their inquiries.
Otherwise, this rental was fine. One of the beach chair was in bad shape, and management offered to send a new one. The location was very convenient for us and beds were comfortable. Views would’ve been great if not obstructed.

Condo going through major construction Mon-Friday. When booking condo in Sep 2023 there was no notification of upcoming construction starting on Oct 2023 and continuing for 1.5 years. Property owners were notified of upcoming construction in March 2023. We were given a discount after many calls regarding construction. It was too late in January 2024 to find another place to stay in February 2024.

Everything was absolutely great!! The view, the security, the friendliness of the staff and people in the area. The booking and ease of access to our condo was so much appreciated.

The property was very close to the photos. It was neat, and the view, property, and location were amazing. Being that it's a two-week minimum stay, I would have thought the kitchen would have been better equipped, so if you like to cook, bring some of your own spices and favorite cooking tools.
The only real challenge was communicating with the rental management company. Typically there is a renter manual, and there was not. I emailed to ask questions about how to use the tv in the main living space and report a broken door, but no one ever responded. There was also building maintenance work during the weeks I was there. They shut the water and the electricity off for entire days, which was super inconvenient. When I requested some concession for that inconvenience, it was denied. Most rental management companies and owners work with renters to offer a fair concession for these types of things that happen during a stay.

The building and the grounds are great. The unit itself is spacious and lovely.
When we arrived the A/C was not working at all. The property manager sent a repair person to fix it and thankfully it was fixed that night. We spent our 1st evening waiting on the repair. Their was quite a bit of mold/mildew growing in the unit. I washed all of the bedding and blankets I'm the unit and took down the curtains in the large bedroom. The property manager sent someone to clean as there was mildew growing on the living room and bedroom furniture. They also brought us a dehumidifier. I then moppped the entire unit. There is still mold/mildew growing on the living room ceiling. The view of the gulf and the gorgeous beach with its sand dollarsade up for all of these troubles. We met several wonderful residents who live in the building and we will probably be back for that reason. The unit does need smart tvs and we were not given a key for the pool area bathroom which is a real inconvenience. Like I said we will be back but we will not rent from this particular management company. The unit was not quite as clean as it should be aside from the mold.
