About this house rental
This one-bedroom condo at the Viking Lodge is light and airy with a prime location in downtown Telluride.
Bedding: King bed and queen sleeper sofa
Guests enter this condo on the ground level (no stairs to enter) of the Viking Lodge. The entrance to this home is adjacent to the complex pool and river trail and has an outdoor covered seating area.
Upon entering this condo, guests are welcomed into an open living space, complete with a living room, small dining area and galley kitchen. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa, flatscreen TV, and an electric fireplace for ambiance. This room also has a small dining table with seating for four. The adjacent kitchen has upgraded granite countertops and all of the utensils needed to cook a complete meal.
The bathroom is also located off of this area. It has a step-in steam shower with a glass surround and a single vanity.
The bedroom has a king bed, large closet, and a door that has access to the Northwest side of the building.
A stacked private washer and dryer are located in the hall closet.
The Viking Lodge is just 200 yards from Lift #7 and the free in-town shuttle stops outside of the complex. Town Park, historic downtown Telluride and the grocery store are just a short walk away.

The property was clean and easy to check into. The location was convenient across from the hot tub and pool, patio furniture made sitting outside for meals and drinks perfect. Would stay here again.

We stayed here with 2 moms 2 toddlers only downside for us is the door could be opened by our toddlers didn’t lock from the inside the front door. We just blocked it lol. Other than that perfect!!

While we own a condo in Telluride near the round-a-bout, our son lives in it. Over the past 20+ years we have camped or stayed at rentals. Viking Lodge 103 is by far the best. Condo is beautifully furnished with high end bath amenities. Though it is close to the pool and hot tub, it was very quiet. Pool and hot tub were well kept. Communication with property management was excellent. We will be back.

We loved the easy location of this little condo….steps to the hot tub, walking distance to Telluride Village restaurants, .5 mile walk along snow path to gondola or shorter walk to lift# 7 (must be black diamond skiier to return that way). We would definitely return again!

This condo was perfect for two people. It had everything we needed. It’s in a convenient location near Lift 7 and the shuttle stops right outside. We liked having our own washer/dryer and the electric fireplace. The bed was very comfortable. It did get warm at night but we just turned the heat off. There were a few minor maintenance issues (one burner on the stove didn’t work and the house cleaners forgot to leave us toilet paper) but all in all, we enjoyed staying here. We would definitely return.

The best thing about this property is the location. It was a perfect location where we could walk to the chairlift, to town, and a ton of restaurants and bars. It is very well decorated and on the surface the perfect space for our girls get away. This would be a 5 star review except that I am very disappointed with the management of the property and the communication with the managers before and during our stay. I emailed the property manager multiple times to let them know that we would need the use of the pull out couch and wanted to follow up with previous reviews that there was a blood stain on the mattress. I was assured that this was remedied before our stay and the air mattress would be usable since we had 4 adults. When we went to set up the air mattress for bed, not only was there still the blood stain, but also there wasn’t a fitted sheet to even cover it. We contacted the number on the app which led us to a general call center, put us on hold to get a local person who was in the area, and then came back saying they didn’t have anything they could do. I felt very gross sleeping on the mattress, but were not offered anything to make it better. Every time we called the help line (there were a few issues), no one could directly help us and they had to contact someone else. After the 4th time asking to talk to someone who could help directly, they finally gave us the local number–who was very kind, but also couldn’t help. Before we came, we also asked what was in the kitchen, they mentioned coffee so we didn’t buy any, but when we got there, there wasn’t any and they weren’t able to deliver it until 10 the next morning which was after we were already out skiing. The shower was also freezing and we had to take cold showers the whole weekend (could be a building issue, but definitely something that needs to be checked out). While the location was great and the property was exactly what we were expecting when we walked in, I am extremely disappointed in how the management handled communication both before and during our stay. I would not recommend this property unless management is improved and people are not planning to use the pull out or it gets replaced.

Our Unit was perfect. it was clean, comfortable and in a good location. The only issue was that the door lock code did not work and we had to call and get a new code. Otherwise we were happy with our decision to stay here.

The condo is relatively smaller than what we assumed. The listing indicated that there was at least four rolls of toilet paper, when in fact there was only one. The large right burner on the stove did not work. There were no extra trash bags nor was there any indication where to dispose of trash. The beds were comfortable , however, the pull-out bed did have a blood stain. We ate outside for the majority of the stay which was lovely. The pool was open and cleaned everyday that we were there. Overall, we give this listing a 3 out of 5 stars.

This is a great condo for two people. Very clean and well stocked kitchen. Great location, easy walk to the ski lift. Efficient use of the small space, worked great for us. However, one of the main reasons we selected this condo was the close proximity to the hot tub. We got notice the week before our stay, that the hot tub heating unit was broken. 10 days later, still no hot tub and we checked out. Extremely disappointed in that as it is very important to us after skiing. Wondering how much of a refund we will get at this point?

The location was great. The unit was clean set to everything. Parking was also good. Would be nice if the unit had cable TV. Television was limited. Back door needs done weather stripping to keep the cool air out. Property management’ comipany was great.

Viking Lodge unit # 103 is cute, right between 2 gondolas, 2 blocks from a grocery store, 30 yards from a liquor store. It all worked out well, only downsides was the hot tub was out of commission and we had an issue getting in with door code which Alpine lodging was super quick and helpful to correct.
