Perfect place to stay if you are traveling. Will definitely be back when traveling thru to Montgomery next year! Super happy that we could bring our dog as well!

My daughter and I were attending a Dairy Goat show in Salisbury and we had a trailer and our goats with us as well. I looked at hotels, but I worried about the safety of leaving my goats on the trailer overnight in a place where a lot of people would have access to my trailer. I decided to look on VRBO and this was my first experience with booking and staying at a place on VRBO. It was beyond wonderful, and the host was awesome with providing thorough information regarding our arrival and details about the location. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay and it was a very relaxing getaway. We were only 10 minutes away from the Dairy Goat show at the Rowan County Fairgrounds and close to restaurants and shopping. It is a quiet and peaceful location yet close to everything. The apartment was very clean and nicely decorated. I slept so well and loved the bed, from the pillows, to the sheets and mattress, it was soooo comfy! My daughter and I watched some movies on the tv and she had a fun time. She said she was ready to move in because she loved it so much! :) I was able to back my trailer in close to the apartment so it was easy to leave out each morning, and there was plenty of space. The host was great with communicating and ensuring our stay was an excellent experience. Before we left, we had the opportunity to meet him and his wife. They are very nice people! This location will be our first choice when we come back to the area again and I would highly recommend it to everyone!

Perfect for traveling with a pet. Very private with everything we needed.

I can't stay at pet friendly hotels because my dog is a rescue and doesn't get along with other dogs. The hosts were very understanding and made sure their pets were inside during my arrival window. Everything went smoothly, and I'm so grateful. Thanks y'all!

We were visiting our daughter in Salisbury for thanksgiving. This was 7 miles away from her home with a large fenced in yard for our dog.

We really enjoyed our long weekend at The Lodge. Private and enough room for two of us and our beloved dog. The kitchen had everything we wanted and needed – appliances, utensils, and dishes. The fenced backyard was spacious and private - there was even comfortable chairs and a firepit for our private use. The bed was beyond comfortable and the TV channels even included Netflix. No problems with the internet WiFi. We will be back!
