The garage is currently unavailable for use.
We have a tankless water heater. It heats on demand and takes about 60 seconds to warm up. Once it's hot, it's HOT!
We have a septic tank. Therefore, only septic-safe toilet paper and soaps can be used. Please do not use any powder detergents, powder dishwasher soap or fabric softner. Dishwasher soap and laundry soap is provided for your stay.
The following household items are stocked by housekeping- toilet paper (4 rolls per bathroom), dish soap, hand soap, coffee, coffee filters, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner & body wash. We try to keep basic things like baggies, foil, etc. in the house but we can’t guarantee them so please bring your own if you specifically need them. There is also a grocery store 5 min away (Clark’s Market). If you have any questions about what we have at the home please feel free to message us!
No smoking/vaping is allowed inside the house. Outside smoking/vaping is permitted. Please discard your cigarette leftovers safely. Do not throw them outside or in the trash cans.
Minimum age of primary renter is 21. The primary guest must be present at time of check in. The primary guest must submit identification verification prior to their stay.
Check in time is 4pm. Early check in may be available, please contact us.
Maximum guests limit of 10 adults total.
Security cameras in use. We use our cameras to monitor our home for security issues and to watch wildlife. We do not invade your privacy, we don't have that kind of time on our hands! :) All cameras point outwards of the house. Tampering, or destroying (covering) the cameras are not allowed. Any tampering with Wifi or outdoor cameras will result in immediate termination of guests reservations with no refund for unused days.
Our home is located in the Village of Oak Creek. It's a cute little village outside the heart of Sedona that has access to many hiking trails, local restaurants, bars, art galleries and so much more! We LOVE downtown Sedona but we LOVE the quietness (and less traffic) that the Village of Oak Creek provides. Our home is located in the Oak Creek Country club neighborhood.
No check-in/out on Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day.
The hot tub is cleaned on Tuesdays and Fridays by a professional company. It is treated with bromine. No glass is allowed in the hot tub area. Please replace cover when not in use.
No fireworks and no shooting allowed within the neighborhood.
Last but not least, we live next to the wilderness. You may see a wide array of animals. These animals include but are not limited to: Mountain Lions, bobcats, deer, javelina, snakes, turkeys, bats, spiders, stray dogs, tons of lizards, scorpions, raccoon, bees, fireflies, among others! We have professional spray services spray monthly to keep down the amount of insects but bugs are inevitable!
You are required to sign an additional renters agreement outside of AirBnB or VRBO. This is to ensure consistency between the apps we use. It is hassle-free and takes less than a minute!
Please supervise your children at ALL times when outdoors.
A guest's Service Animal must not be:

* Left alone at the listing without prior approval

We stay in Sedona every August for an annual golf outing and always rent a house. This was the best one we have stayed in to date. The house is very nice and comfortable. The location is great. The house is fully stocked with pretty much everything you will need. The host is great and communication was awesome. We will definitely consider this house again for future visits.

We had an absolute wonderful time staying at the Agave Abode. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable and the back porch was just a fantastic place to be. From the beautiful views, to the countless stars, to the incredible number of animals that paraded though the yard, it was simply breath taking. Veronica is a wonderful host and was very responsive. We would absolutely stay here again.

My only wish is that we stayed longer. The house was absolutely perfect with views to last a lifetime. Pictures dont even do it justice. The house is well equiped with everything-even a cooler, very clean and well maintained.

The property itself was so inviting. We had so much room and the hot tub was perfect after long hikes. The host was so amazing at responding when needed. They have thought of everything to make the stay so easy. I would stay again and again. The beds were very comfortable and the morning views were absolutely breathtaking.

We had a wonderful time staying here this March. I traveled with my husband and two daughters (ages 5 and 8). It was my birthday and Veronica even left a nice birthday gift for me!
The view of the red rock in the back is just amazing. There are huge windows in the two main bedrooms and sliders in the living space for picture perfect views of it. We loved the hot tub too. It was in the 30’s to 50’s temp-wise, so really nice to jump in the hot tub and use the fireplace inside. The open floor plan was so nice to have in the kitchen, living and dining room space. The area the house is in is very quiet, yet close to everything you need. The house was fully stocked with supplies (towels, soaps, dishes, blankets, kids toys, games, storage baggies, etc.) so it was really easy to just come in and enjoy your vacation. We also enjoyed the separation of the bedrooms, with one main bedroom on one side and the other with a jack and jill style bathroom to the third bedroom. We’d definitely want to stay here again.

The house was wonderful for a home base for hiking & hanging out with friends. My husband & I vacationed with two other couples who we've been friends with for years & we really enjoyed our stay here. The hot tub was great after our hikes & the guys loved playing corn hole in the beautiful yard. The back yard/patio area was so nice to hang out in. All the couples raved about how comfortable the beds were!! It was so nice having such a big table to fit all of us around comfortably for meals. Kitchen had everything needed for cooking. The home was decorated really nice! Veronica was very responsive with any questions. We would all totally recommend this property!!

Everything about this place was incredible. The house is beautiful, comfortable, and well-stocked. The views are amazing. Veronica was quick to respond when I reached out to her before our stay. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.

This house has the best views. One glance and you are captivated. The area is quite convenient to restaurants and hiking trails. House was spotless, well situated and spacious. The hot tub was a welcome relief after a day of walking and sightseeing. The Welcome book did a great job explaining important information. Veronica was very helpful and answered any question right away. We will be back. Oh…quail, deer, hummingbirds and we heard coyotes but we never got to see a Javelina. Next time!

I booked this house simply because the owner was spot-on when communicating with me...and the house did not disappoint! Loved the view and really appreciated the cold water upon arrival after a lengthy drive. The decor was gorgeous and we did not have any issues. Saw many hummingbirds, butterflies and even a deer one morning. My only complaint is that I didn't book enough nights at this beautiful place! ;-) Loved the location too...the trail close to the house was incredible because we were the only ones on it! Thanks again for a wonderful stay and I will definitely be back!

We traveled from Michigan to celebrate my cousin’s birthday. Veronica and Hunter were awesome! They had a welcome basket full of snacks and went the extra mile with a birthday card and a bottle of wine for my cousin which was so sweet of them to do. They gave us plenty of information on the area with recommendations of things to do and restaurants. They were very quick to answer any questions and very helpful. The views were gorgeous, and the house was nice and clean. The beds are really comfortable and the hot tub felt amazing after our long days of hiking. Loved our stay here! This is the Best location to be in. A quiet neighborhood and so close to so many restaurants and a great grocery store. You will be wowed by the picturesque quick drive up to Sedona. Pictures are as described and the views from 2 bedrooms are outstanding.
