Perfect place to stay for a chilled out holiday in Amsterdam.

Location is in a nice quiet area away from the center but easily accessible. Owners are very nice and helpful. The house is great and decorated with furniture and appliances that seem to be from all different eras. If I come back to Amsterdam I will aim to stay here again, it's pretty much perfect.

Excellent! Would recommend and would certainly stay again if in Amsterdam.

Spacious, well equipped, clean, fantastic little touches, like biscuits and jams, we’ll equipped kitchen, games, lovely setting. Felt very much at home. Lovely hosts.

It’s a little far from stores and public transportation. A car (or good walking shoes) is a necessity.

I can warmly recommend this place!

Nice location, very quiet neighbourhood, not far from metro station (15min walk). Also need to mention friendly welcoming with useful hints what to see in Amsterdam.

it was a pleasant week-end in an almost rural zone where one can recover from the daily stress

very friendly host, clean facilities, quiet surroundings, green zone, only half an hour walk to the center, only a quarter of an hour to the next metro station, all in all it was a simply perfect week-end

Exceptional

Really homely. Bright and light. Beautiful surroundings. A lovely walk to the metro and to the ferry. Our hosts were very friendly. I would stay again at the drop of a hat!

A lovely place to stay for a chilled week in Amsterdam

Jan and Gerda were lovely - as were their daughter and son (who were super helpful). The house is very spacious - the 3 of us were very comfortable and able to find our own space (which with 2 adult daughters is quite important for everyone's enjoyment).

It was not as close to the centre as we would have liked but we knew that before we went! It was a compromise - space and price vs proximity to the city. It wasn't even that far out either - Noordepark metro station is only 1 stop from Amsterdam Centraal and a 15 minute walk from the house (along the canal which is very pleasant) and because we didn't have a massively busy itinerary, it was ok.

Amazing hosts, beautiful house with a history, beatiful yard and 100% comfortable place close to metro

Real Dutch atmosphere of the house, very quite area, good to rest after noisy Amsterdam) very nice view from the terrace, great parks around
