Amazing visit, will come again!

Karen is such a lovely host. The room and facilities were so cosy and clean, felt like a home from home. Everything was easy and pleasurable from start to finish. Will definitely stay again and 100% recommend! Thank you 😊

Erfüllt die Zecke einer Übernachtung.

Die Gastgeberin hat uns herzlich willkommen geheissen und auch sofort auf unsere Mitteilung der Verspätung reagiert. Das Zimmer war ein wenig eng, dies vor allem wegen der Dachschrägung. Ansonsten hat die Unterkunft alles was wir benötigen erfüllt. Wir haben das Bett als sehr angenehm empfungen. Ganz ausgezeichnet das angebotene Frühstück, das zwar selbst zubereitet werden muss. Aber es war alles vorhanden, was wir für ein Frühstück benötigen. Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus vorhanden.

Wie schon gesagt, ist infolge der Dachschräge der Einstieg ins Bett mehr oder weniger nur von einer Seite her möglich.

Clean, comfortable accommodation with a warm welcome.

The accommodation was just right for us. Everywhere was very clean and well organised and we received a warm welcome when we arrived from our host - who went above and beyond in her helpfulness.

Really good stay.. would return when visiting Brighton again.

Location was great. Easy bus journey into town. Frequent. Breakfast was more than adequate. Host friendly. Room and bed comfortable. Bathroom clean.

Reasonable price for date and location, immaculate with a friendly host.

Quiet, comfy bed, immaculate, easy parking. Host very friendly and went the extra mile to ensure that we had everything we needed. The picture does not do the room justice - it was very nice with crisp linen and soft towels

Perfect, starry get away

Karen is a wonderful and friendly host. Introduced us to our room and facilities, all gorgeously styled and super clean. We asked Karen for a few things and couldn't be more thankful for the kind response. Great local knowledge and felt welcomed. The bedroom view is special, we stayed up to star gaze. Thank you :D

Nothing to dislike, a heads up to others re location but is easily sorted with public transport. Plus it was worth being away from the noise of Brighton to rest then a short bus ride back.

Best homestay in Brighton

I have been here many times. Karen is an excellent host. Whenever I am back in Brighton for work I always try and book here. Communication is always good and for me the location is great. Karen can provide you with suggestions of where to eat. Beds are comfortable and the access to the kitchen is wonderful.

Lovely host, immaculate property, perfect location for my needs

Ideal place to stay and it has parking available! Lovely welcome from Host, who showed me around and explained how to use facilities. Breakfast was provided with a variety of options i.e cereal, yogurt, fruit and could be accessed at your convenience. Everything I needed for my stay.

We had a very pleasant and relaxing stay. This property suited our purposes perfectly.

Beautifully maintained property in a quiet, pleasant area. The owner was extremely obliging when we needed to change the date and length of our stay. Private parking a real bonus. Generous provision of hot drinks and, though no cooked breakfast, there was a wide variety of breakfast items.

Lovely property, quiet location, but lovely walk into town/beach

Quiet location. Excellent property. Parking at the front of the house. I had the single downstairs room which was clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast was help yourself in the kitchen - cereal, fruit, yoghurts, toast with jam/marmalade etc, as well as coffee/tea/juice.

Away for work, but like being at home

Karen is a great host and when you stay it feels like home. This venue is close to where I have to work when in Brighton. The use of the kitchen and garden not just the room you pay for is great. There are places to eat within a 20 minute walk, just remember that Brighton is hilly!

Peaceful, slept very well.

that I could stay on my own and feel safe. The area was great and I was able to walk to the locations without any worries. I met Karen on the first night, and she gave me privacy the rest of my stay. The breakfast was good for my needs.

Another good stay. Only a short drive from the South Downs, stand-out points are the off-street parking, clean bathroom and very comfortable bed.

Lovely property elevated with great views Karen is a very friendly and wonderful host. Everything was spotless. Bed and mattress were comfortable and good quality, nice garden with views, parking was a real bonus. Karen lives in this home but is very respectful of privacy. I met her for a lovely chat when she arrived home from work and didn't see her again! Breakfast is all ready for you in the fridge, good quality towels, dressing gown a box of toiletries just in case you forgot anything, attention to the details!

Quiet & comfortable

Booked again; had a meal at the Devil's Dyke Inn and a walk on the South Downs in the evening sunshine and then my room was only 12 minutes drive away, complete with parking space. Comfortable night in a quiet part of town.

All-round good stay

Pleased to be able to book this property again with the highlights being friendly host, comfortable bed, off-road parking and easy breakfast arrangements. Also found the WiFi very good which was helpful after the day's work where we'd had some difficulties!
