Bring the whole family and stay in comfort at this cabin located in a quiet wooded location with beautiful mountain views, exciting amenities, plush bedding, refined appliances, relaxing spaces, and nature inspired decor. Enjoy a challenging game of corn hole from the paved parking area before enjoying the captivating mountain views from the main level wraparound deck. Guest feedback has resulted in the owners providing new mattresses, installing an additional bear proof garbage receptacle, and servicing the hot tub to address jet issues in an effort to make this luxurious rental the relaxing oasis your family is seeking!

The cabin was great and was the cleanest that we have stayed in, the driveway was a little steep and we had to drive by and turn around and come in from another angle.

Was a wonderful cabin in the woods! We saw bears around us. Very clear and peaceful.

This cabin is exactly as the pictures! We seen black bears everyday we were there, the mountains are so breathtaking from the deck! The cabin is very spacious with 5 beds, 5 bathrooms, open floor plan of course with lots of windows. The cabin had everything we need for our trip but make sure to bring extra toilet paper and paper towels only 1 for each bathroom. The cabin was clean by the eye but once we started putting clothes in dressers down stairs we found mouse dropping in dressers, not a good start to the stay. We also found a blunt by the downstairs front door which was totally not acceptable! When cleaning up after our stay we were sweeping the floor and moving furniture and found lots of dead bugs like a whole dust pan, we found pills under one of the dressers and we didn’t take any of those pills so they weren’t ours. We found contact lenses by one of the night stands between the bed and night stand. I went upstairs to get the vacuum to sweep the rugs and it was have full from previous occupants, plugged it in and turned it on and the brush roller did not work., so did the best I could with what we had. Downstairs windows wet really dirty and cobwebs were all over window seals, tvs had spots all over them also. I have stayed in a lot of places that were beautiful and with better price tags.

Carpet under coffee table is no tacked down and is a hazard. Big garbage bag in back yard torn open when we got there. Customer Service was not friendly during the planning process. Info conflicts between contract and check in emails. Hard to get info about address until we called. There is no reason why we cant know check out process until 18 hours before.

I had concerns about the driveway due to other reviews and originally requested to cancel. The owner contacted me and said if we followed their instructions the driveway was no problem. This was not true, we had a Chevy Blazer and a Jeep, the driveway is dangerous.
I also specifically asked about the access to the property for my elderly mom. It was explained to me the main floor came with 2 master bedrooms so issues. That is true except the main floor require that my mom climb very steep stairs (10-12) to get into the home, otherwise she would have to stay in the lower level game room.
These were two pretty big disappointment's for what we needed.
The cabin is well made and beautiful with great views of the Smokey mountains but the cabin was not very clean. The doors were very dirty as well as all of the rugs. They looked like they had never been swept and we found toe nail clippings throughout the house. The mats in the bathrooms were absolutely filthy.
All of the pots and pans had the Teflon scratched off and were flaking. The house came with a decorated Christmas tree in the center of the main floor which was so odd to see in the middle of Spring.
We just felt like there was no effort to make our stay special. I did not hear from anyone until checkout to make sure we vacated.
Would I stay at that particular cabin again, absolutely not but I would stay in that area as I have in the past. The cabin hostess should practice making this more of a luxury cabin stay.

The property was so wonderful for our friends of 10. Spacious, pretty and what we loved the most was each bedroom had its own bath. So much privacy for each couple. The only recommendation is that there needs to be more soap and supply shampoo. The only drawback is the roads to the house were very sharp and dangerous. The driveway was difficult.

This was a great vacation! The cabin was absolutely beautiful!!! It was very clean, and came with everything we needed. The view was spectacular! We actually slept in the bed without having back pain, which is alwaysv an issue. I have nothing negative to say about this place. I give it five stars!!!!!

This was a beautiful property that accommodated our family perfectly to make an enjoyable annual Christmas trip. The check in and check out process was seamless, and the property was clean with several amenities. We will definitely consider this property again next year!

Had a good experience overall. Good views, best part was the large living room kitchen area which made a great space for relaxing together. Cabin has a large back porch, and even got to see a bear!

The cabin is absolutely beautiful. The 5 king bedrooms with their own bathrooms was perfect for our couples trip. Upon arriving the main level is a huge open space. Plenty of room for everyone to be together. The kitchen has every item you would need. Its large with plenty of prep and cooking space. The downstairs has plenty of entertainment items. The whole house was stocked very well.
We did have an issue with the heat but the property manager responded immediately and handled the problem promptly!!
My only cons were we bought a large amount of food to grill. When we went to turn on the grill the propane tank was completely empty. But we adjusted so it wasn't too much of a big deal.
However the driveway was a NIGHTMARE!! We were driving a Dogde Ram 1500 Longhorn with 4 wheel drive and we still struggled to get up the driveway. I think the wet leaves played a big factor. But it was very difficult, scary, and almost unsafe trying to get up there. Maybe someone blowing the leaves and keeping the driveway clear would help.
Besides the driveway this home is FABULOUS!!!

Cabin was beautiful, views were amazing. Roads to get to property were steep, narrow and winding. The bottom of the driveway is steep and must be maneuvered slowly to keep from bottoming out. Low cars will scrape going down.

House was very nicely set up. Inside was clean however, porch had spiders and many webs i cleaned up before guests could go on porch. The bbq grill is wore out and needs replaced.

We enjoyed our stay with a group of friends. Our cabin was clean, and we had everything we needed. We spent most of our time, when we were at the cabin, on the beautiful deck with a stunning view of the mountains. We also enjoyed the hot tub on the deck. We would definitely come back, and we would recommend this cabin.
We had a bear encounter! It had opened one of our truck doors and was in the truck snacking on a tangerine. Our fault 100% for forgetting to lock our truck! We had bears stroll around the property, we didn’t bother them, and they didn’t bother us. It was awesome to see them in nature! Reminder, lock your doors, and don’t feed the bears!

The Deerfoot Lodge was beautiful. The views we amazing even on rainy days. It was big enough for 10 adults to have time together and space to ourselves when wanted.

This property is highly recommended. Location and view is stunning and the kitchen is well appointed. Beds are very comfortable and hot-tub was clean and functional.
A couple of minor points:
- driveway is narrow and steep and can be challenging the first time up.
- property management is VERY stingy with supplies considering the cost so bring your own soap, shampoo etc. if you are staying longer than a few days you will also need to buy your own dishwasher pods and laundry soap, paper towels etc.

Overall an amazing cabin. Driveway was a nightmare and the mattresses really were not comfortable but loved everything else about our stay. Beautiful views, good space, great furnishings and loved the games.

Beautiful property. Like others have said, the driveway is steep but following their advice is totally doable, we had zero issues. Our biggest complaint was the cleanliness of the grill, it was not usable from how dirty it was and the previous people had left the propane open so it was empty. Just needs attention. Also felt like the hot tub needed to be treated.
The views were stunning. The staff were amazing. One of my guests left a pillow and they shipped it to her! The beds were so comfortable and overall it was a great stay.

We had an absolute BLAST the entire stay! The property was absolutely beautiful and had everything we could possibly need. 5 couples came on this trip together, and we all had our own bedroom and bathroom along with many other amenities that we took full advantage of. We would highly recommend this cabin, and we’ve already started talking about our next trip back!

We really loved the house. It is new and has tons of space to spread out and beautiful view, great porch etc. . The major issue we had was related to the driveway. We had a minivan and could barely get up the paved driveway since it is so so steep. The first time we tried to go up we burned rubber and started to slide back and just spin our tires . There is no where to park at the bottom of the hill so we had to figure something out. All the passengers had to get out and then just the driver try to swing out and try to gun it up the driveway to make it to the top. If there had been ice it would have been impossible. It was a little scary each time we had to do that as there is also a major drop off on the side of the driveway. Coming down was a little easier but still very narrow and big drop off on the side to be careful about. Really was an amazing house but because of the stress of going up and down the driveway I would probably not rent it again unless we came with a 4 wheel drive and certainly wouldn't come during a time when there was snow/ice.

10 friends wanting to get together for some good food and games and we found the perfect place. Three bedrooms downstairs and two upstairs by the kitchen and living area. Perfect for the three younger couples as they could play pool and video games. Great view, perfect porch with hot tub. We didn’t see any bears but we did wake up to a beautiful dusting of snow! All utensils, pots, baking dishes, coffee maker, Keurig and even an air fryer. Nice gas fireplace and great table that fit everyone. Would definitely stay here again.

When we come back we will just sleep on the couch. Owner may not be aware of the mattress? Entire cabin was amazing.
Also Becareful leaving food in cars and windows down. We discovered a momma bear and 2 cubs in our car. They enjoyed the snack. But they apparently come through area every morning going through trash cans. Luckily our car was ok. Wraparound porch was amazing.
We also celebrated a birthday. Amazing getaway.
