Fantastico

Su tutto Francesco&Francesca sono delle persone fantastiche che ti fanno sentire a casa. La struttura è super pulita e confortevole. Mi è piaciuto molto il quartiere di San Fernando, che è tral'altro ben collegato con tutte le migliori spiagge vicine e ovviamente con Playa del Ingles. Ci vediamo presto ragazzi :)

Ein Highlight in Maspalomas

Ich war angenehm überrascht, wie schön ruhig die Gegend ist. Die beiden Inhaber sind sehr freundlich und liebevoll. Es geht sehr familiär zu auf der Terrasse.

La ubicación y la zona compartida.

La habitación pequeña, colchón muy incomodo , encima de unos palés, si tienes problema de espalda lleva antiinflamatorios.

Embrace the cactus :-)

Locatie was heel fijn. Lokale wijk, laagbouw. Leuke restaurantjes. Een heerlijke Italiaanse koffietent vlakbij, Cafeteria Flor De Vainilla Makkelijk, (gratis) parkeren in de buurt, (oa op de Av. de Tirajana) En natuurlijk ook Francesco, de kunstzinnige vrolijke eigenaar. Het is een soort kleine hostelsetting, je kan er zelf koken op het gezamenlijke dakterras en andere reizigers ontmoeten. Dus ook geschikt als je alleen reist.

Misschien dat ik niet echt de tijd heb genomen/ zin in had, om andere reizigers te ontmoeten.

Home Sweet Home - came as a stranger, left as a friend

Casa Mamre became my Home Sweet Home! ...and I really need to come back. A lovely home which is run by a wonderful, heartwarming and inspiring couple - Francesca and Francesco. I came as a stranger and left as a friend, after just a few days. After stressful months this was the perfect place for me to calm down, meet amazing people, spend quality time with them. It was also the perfect spot for me - not too many tourists around, near to a bus stop, to several supermarkets and restaurants, and to a bike rental shop. I always left the house for day tours and was already looking forward to come back home in the evening to spend time with the others. We also went out for a bbq to an amazing place - loved it! The rooms are basic, yes - but enough and comfortable, and most of all, designed and arranged with love. I also love their open-air kitchen together with the terrace. Everything was clean. I would also like to respond to the comment from Jose (Feb 14): I was one of the people he is referring to, sitting in the kitchen, enjoying the night with others, laughing a lot. But it was not until in the morning! It was around 11.30 pm when he asked us to be quiet. We said sorry, we disturbed (and we really were, forgot about the time unfortunately) and immediately became quiet. He might still have heard a bit chatting, but definitely were we not playing any music any more or making loud noises after he shouted at us. I respect his experience but also wanted to correct the time he mentioned.

Good

The host is nice, the check in was super easy. The house was very clean and maintained, there was soap and shampoo etc. The house is close to supermarkets and cafès.

Our room had no window only a light-hole which was connected to the kitchen(?) and therefore we heard everything going on there, every conversation and video that was watched. The house is far from the centre and the beach.

Habitación impracticable

La localización, estaba en el “pueblo antiguo” y se notaba en el tipo de establecimientos que había cerca, nada de restaurantes orientados a turistas.

La habitación no tenía ventana, solo un tragaluz de ventilación, el cual no se podía tapas y te despiertas con el amanecer. Además dicho tragaluz da a la terraza de la casa, donde en mi estancia hubo varias personas cantando con una guitarra hasta altas horas de la madrugada, por más que se le pedía silencio no atendían. Al quejarme al dueño de la casa me dijo que eran familiares suyo. El colchón muy incómodo y vendido, y las almohadas de foam incomodisimas.

Una esperienza indimenticabile. Gli host sono una coppia premurosa e attenta. Creano preziosi momenti di socialità e condivisione. Ci si sente ascolti e a casa. Il posto è coloratissimo e vivace. Super consigliato.

Absolute Empfehlung. Wundervoller Ort!

Das ist ein wundervoller Ort. Die beiden Betreiber Francesco und Francesca sind ein total entspanntes und offenes Paar, das sich auf die Fahne geschrieben hat, ein Ort der schönen Begegnungen von Reisenden aus aller Welt zu sein. Ich habe 11 Nächte und viel Zeit dort verbracht, weil ich tagsüber von der tollen Dachterasse aus gearbeitet habe. Jeden Abend habe ich neue inspirierende offene neue Menschen kennengelernt. Die Lage mitten in San Fernando, einem Viertel für Einheimische, ist absolut genial mit vielen Tapas Bars, Cafés, Supermärkten und weg von den Touri Buden. Und ruhig ist es noch dazu. Absoluter Bonus: man kann kostenlos Wäsche waschen, wo gibt es das noch ? Darüber hinaus ist es sehr sauber. Das Bad und die vollausgestattete Küche werden jeden Tag geputzt. Ich liebte die heiße Dusche am Abend 💯 Francesco und Francesca organisieren auch Touren, Restaurant-Besuche oder Barbecues an schönen Orten für ihre Gäste. Mir bleibt nur, danke zu sagen, für diese wundervolle Zeit in Eurem schönen Gästehaus und eure wundervolle Gastfreunschaft. Ich werde Euch sehr vermissen.

Staff is very friendly. Good location near supermarkets. Great value for the price. You have a separate room but the bathroom and kitchen are being shared with other guests.

Rustic place, but too noisy, bad condition. The hosts written English made little sence or wrong

The hosts were friendly when the English made sense. The other guests were nice.

Noisy, bad sound insulation, bad airing, facilities in bad condition, and description of what offered wrong. It said for instance you had a kitchen to yourself, while you shared it with 6 other rooms people. The jacuzzi the host said was not heated, which was not true. However, it seemed the guests were not welcome to use it. The white doors were filthy and the small hook on a shared bathroom door made it really unhealthy seeing all the staining from dirty hands sharing it.. Low on toilet paper, so when back for my second 3 nights, I brought my own. I will not be back.

Beispielslos fantastisch!

Ich bin ein vielreisender Mensch und so etwas habe ich noch nie und niergendwo getroffen. Man kommt in ein Haus und fühlt sich sofort zu Hause bei Freunden oder Familie. Das hat das Flair eines kleinen Hostels ist aber gleichzeitig extrem gut eingerichtet. Wenn man will hängt man mit super netten offenen Menschen rum, kocht spontan zusammen (bei uns bildete dann eine kleine Klöngruppe aus drei deutschsprachigen Frauen 23, 47 und 62 Jahren) und hat eine super Zeit in der gemeinsamen Küche/Aufenthaltsraum/Dachterrasse oder man hat auch die Möglichkeit sich jederzeit komplett zurückzuziehen und es ist dann auch völlig ok. Die Besitzer sind ein Pärchen ehemaligen Sozialarbeiter, die gerade ihr gemeinsamen Traum von einem Haus für Menschen leben und das spührt man sehr deutlich und dadurch wird auch der ganze Aufenthalt absolut traumhaft. Man wird z.B. zum gemeinsamen Grillen eingeladen, wo das für Essen ausgegebene Geld ganz genau berechnet wird und das Trinkgeld nicht akzeptiert wird. Auch daran merkt man, diesen Menschen geht es nicht um Geld, wie rar ist bitteschön so etwas in unserer Zeit. Die beiden sind auch Künstler und so ist auch das Haus voll von kleineren und größeren Kunstwerken.

auch nach längerer Überlegung ist mir nichts eingefallen, was ich hier reinschreiben könnte. Es ist eine dieser Orte wo ich jetzt schon weiss, dass ich zurückkomme.

Trevligt och enkelt utan att känna brist på något.

Ville inte ha boende med frukost. Dock erbjöd boendet kaffe/te samt kylskåp i trevliga gemensamma utrymmen. Lugnt område med gågator runt om. Nära till bra caféer/restauranger för frukost/lunch. Enkelt och funktionellt boende. Trevlig miljö, familjekänsla med värden och de få övriga gästerna.

Aningen långt bort från strand för de som föredrar det.

Speravamo in meglio

Posizione e parcheggio gratuito vicino alla struttura.

Materasso su letto fatto con i pallet poco confortevole, il bagno è senza finestra né ventola ed è molto piccolo.C'è umidità nel bagno. Mancanza sia di aria condizionata che di ventilatore. La struttura non è ben segnalata, quindi non è molto semplice trovarla.

Stylish home, very welcoming and helpful hosts. Fully equipted kitchen. Nice neighbourhood, next to supermarket and cafes. Flat terrain to buses and beach, no need to climb hills.

Room window without glass, you have to shut blindfolds to avoid noise, or bugs, but then it's pitch dark. Very narrow stairs to the kitchen, only for the fit and healthy :D

Our hosts were a very heartwarming couple, you can ask everything and the kitchen on the roof is for everyone. You can dine with all the other guests and the couple or you prefer dining alone, as you want. The kitchen is well-appointed. Our room was very basic and simple but comfortable and very clean. The value for money is very very good.

Fantastic apartment

It was a pleasure to stay at Casa Mamre. I don’t think it would be possible to find a nicer place on the same budget. Francesco was the friendliest and most helpful host I could hope for and just an all round cool guy. Location is great, amongst plenty of shops and restaurants and about 15 minutes walk from the beach.
