Located just a short distance from the lighthouse identifying Mason/Dixon Line, where there are daily tours, this two-story getaway is the perfect choice for your next family adventure! The location of this retreat is unbeatable. There is a bike shop and a fix-it within walking distance. On Route #54 is the Freeman Center; bring your chair and watch live music every night! Close by in Fenwick is a boat rental, including sailboats, kayaks, canoes, and speedboats. Fenwick Island Water slide is one block; go-karts are one block; video games are one block, with local streets having dead ends to traffic roads.
The main living space is located on the home's second floor, featuring an open floor plan seamlessly combining the living and dining areas and kitchen. The living room offers comfortable sofas, a TV with cable, and a wood stove to warm up the entire space in the blink of an eye. The open kitchen has all the essentials, including a dishwasher for easy post-meal clean-up. Access to the large wraparound balcony, furnished with an outdoor dining area, gas grill, and lounge area. This floor also hosts a washer/dryer.
The first-floor living space has a sofa and TV, popcorn and coffee station, stand-up arcade games, a board game table that seats eight, and a mini-fridge for beverages. There are board games for all ages, baby gates, beach chairs, and a beach buggy for toting gear. There is an outdoor deck with a swing chair for relaxing and an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a day at the beach.
Things to Know
The wood stove is not operational during the summer. If renting during fall/winter, please use only two logs per day.
Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking, and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

Property itself was fine, good location working AC. A tad bit dirty. However, management company and logistics was not well organized or helpful. For example, we paid extra for a late check-out, however, the door code automatically reset at the original check out time, locking us out and away from some of our things. Management was unresponsive and unhelpful. This upset us on our last day. Overall, ok spot, but do not let management take advantage of you or ignore requests for help.

Although the house is a little out dated, it was perfect for a quick weekend trip. It is spacious and just what you need for a big group. I would stay there again and the location is great! The walk to the beach is pretty quick and there’s so much around since it’s in the heart of Fenwick.

The place wasn't clean. It had dog hair and dust bunnies in the corner. The place wasn't left with one FULL toilet paper roll in each bathroom, and when I went to wash my hair, the conditioner was empty. As well, I had to go searching for a bar of soap.
I called the property manager, and they had toilet paper delived - at 23h30 - 11:30 at night!!!

There was a horrible looking live insect in the sink, a dead fly on the counter, someone’s clothing in the laundry area, the light outside the front door didn’t work, and no one told us we had to hoot the reality office to pick up the key until we called the office after we were already at the property. As a result, we didn’t get into the house until 5:30.

The place absolutely suited our needs. It's a quaint, quiet house that allows dogs without discrimination on size or breed. It doesn't have the highest quality furniture or fixtures but they all work well and I would be more anxious staying with my dogs at a beach vacation somewhere with pristine furniture as inevitably stuff gets sandy, hairy, etc. They priced the place very fair for the amenities and the quality. It was a large amount of space for the great price. The location is perfect, quiet yet close to great restaurants, coffee, etc. Very close to a nice and quiet beach. We enjoyed our stay. We do wish you could pick up the key at the house instead of up in Bethany, and we wish there were outdoor lights as getting in after dark was mildly difficult, but our phones helped us find where to go. Overall it has everything that's needed, some fun old CDs and cassettes to listen to, and allows large dogs so we were quite happy and content.

Chose this house as it is located in the same neighborhood where a close friend summers. Unfortunately, it is not kept up. The floor plan is very good for a family like ours. But the doors did not all open with the keys. The external lights did not work; even tho we changed bulbs. The furniture is extremely uncomfortable. We were told there would be 10 beach chairs; but there were none. The closets are jammed with broken furniture, and junk and discarded linen and cleaning supplies. There is no where to hang things. The dining room was filled with discarded cushions that we could not figure out a place for and trash. We spend the first day just cleaning.
This could be a really nice rental; but it looks like it has been abandoned by the owner. The grass desperately needs to be cut. When I texted management regarding beach chairs and ext. lighting and grass; I was assured that local team would take care of this. Nothing happened. Would not rent again.

The neighborhood and location were perfect. It was very quiet, and the house is on a dead end street, so there really is no traffic. It’s within very short walking distance to so many activities. It definitely was not the cleanest house. The upstairs was nicer than the downstairs, but it was easier for us to spend more time downstairs so our youngest child didn’t try to go down the stairs. They do provide baby gates, but he is a bear and we were worried it wouldn’t be secure. We didn’t realize until we got the email 24 hours ahead of time that we’d have to pick the key up at a separate location, but luckily for us it was on our way (we came from the north - if you’re coming from the south it would add about 40 minutes of drive time). We had two young children and our dog, and overall everything went very well. We would stay here again, and it was 100% worth the price.

Pros: Up to date appliances in kitchen, Dog Friendly, Very Spacious, Private street location, Quiet area, Plenty off bathroom linens, downstairs tv had Netflix, stores/dining/shops/Dunkin/mini golf and go karts in walking distance!!! Balcony spacious and quiet
Cons: AC does not flow to upstairs well! It maintained about 80 degrees and most of us slept downstairs. Could not open windows bc there were no screens, one of the bedrooms we did not use bc it smelled like urine, downstairs bathtub can use some tlc..(maybe mold), keys did not work for upstairs.. it was a pain to carry luggage up; especially inside with spiral staircase, no porch light which was a pain but used our flashlights, downstairs toilet has a slow flow. Giant bag of DIRTY linens sitting in front of our place, locks on bathrooms don’t work…. FYI dogs have been here and chewed up furniture legs and scratched frame of door.
We did not complain when we were there bc we had a long drive and we were there for only 3 nights and 2 days. Did not want repair people coming in when we were trying to relax and we wanted that privacy. Also we attempted to look for another place but there were no other places available that was dog friendly and a had our available dates, so we just stuck it out.
