The value for money wasn't worth it, but one staff Mary at the reception was friendly and helpful..

I liked the location with easy access to any means of transportation.

Not having hot water until the 4th day when I checked out

I would say it's strategic location is a plus,

If one is looking for a comfortable, strategically located and value for money place to stay in Arusha town,then this is the place,it is one of the oldest hotels and did not disappoint

Overall a nice place to stay, but for the price, could do with some improvements

Location is superb, almost center to all important locations. I like the quietness of the hotel and surrounding environment. The room was spacious and bed comfy.

Breakfast could do with more options. AC was not working, lucky visit was during the cold period. Bathroom partition was partially broken. Also, if you need food at the hotel, the cafe has limited options. Also word of advise, put even a small carpet in the rooms, with the freezing cold having to step on an ice cold tile at night can be very offsetting.

Not as expected.

The room is clean and well organized. The bed was comfortable and always clean.

The Wi-Fi didn’t work properly. The hotel's restaurant is a pity. guests practically don't eat there, everyone prefers to eat out. it can take an hour to bring a simple pizza.

Good location, friendly staff.

Overall, for the price and location, New Safari Hotel was a great place to stay for 2 nights in Arusha. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of museums, city center, market, cafes, and restaurants. We ate in the hotel's little casual cafe/pizzeria twice - can recommend the pizza. Service can be slow but food and fresh juice was good and prices very reasonable. Note that they don't serve alcohol if that matters to you. The free buffet breakfast included fresh fruit, bread, juice, coffee/tea, and a few hot foods. You could also request cooked eggs on order.

There were some issues, including the first room having a non-working air-conditioning unit. So we were moved to a second room that had a working A/C but had an issue with the key cards so we had to be let in every time we left the hotel and needed to return. COVID has no doubt been hard on the hotel with lack of visitors, but the hotel definitely needs to sort out these sort of things.

Good for short stay.

Good place for short stay. The hotel is old but clean and ideal for those who stay 1 or 2 days in Arusha.

Please bargain with the taxi drivers even if the hotel call the taxi for you.

Great stay with the best staff right in the center of Arusha!

Mary and Jackson were incredibly nice and helpful! They even helped me switch my room to the quieter side of the building, and Mary got me a huge pineapple for when I returned to the hotel after my safari. Although the hotel is a bit older, it is clean and kept up well. Also, the free breakfast was nice - lots of fresh fruit, and a variety of other dishes. I was very pleased with my stay.

The bed is a little hard, but that's only my preference. Everything else was very nice.

we returned back and what surprise we have been allocated in the same room, No 209 where the water pressure at the shower was weak as well as the wifi. To note that the water pressure in the rest of the bathroom was perfect, it was only the shower that was the problem

Better than expected

Perfect location, very friendly people, very confortable and clean rooms.

Improvement is possible for Wi-Fi speed and for the waiting time at the restaurant for dinner

If you want to see what is an awful hotel, just make a resarvation

I have never suggest anyone this hotel... there is no wi fi at room. There is a problem with electricity. The electricity always goes off. I couldn' t sleep because of the sounds of genarator.

I had a very exciting stay in Arushia. I will come back if I can.

The location is good. We did not have any problem accessing it and moving around. There are things you need around the hotel, like airlines office, supermarkets, cafe and restaurants.

The shower room is very small. Needs renovation.

Disappointing

Absolutely no water pressure in any of the rooms. Wifi doesn’t work at all, couldn’t do any work. The aircon doesn’t work, the fan only works when lights are on..

Even though I ordered a room with Air condition, they placed us in a room without, saying all twin bed rooms don't have air condition. I insisted and they gave us a three bed room- those are with Air condition.
