Adorable cottage. Clean and felt spacious despite its small size.

We stayed in this home for 3 weeks to scout the area on a potentially relocation in the future. The house is so great, quaint, cozy - perfect for 2-3 people and fenced in backyard lovely! I loved going out there every morning to sit with my coffee. Neighborhood was quiet and clean, neighbors were so kind when you saw them, I enjoyed my daily walks and we ate some of the best food! The Empanada place, Tonys Pizza Palace, Alice's bakery - the list is long! Great little downtown, grocery and other stores so convenient to get to. Messaging / responsiveness with owner was wonderful / timely. We drove 9+ hrs home talking about how much the time flew but what a perfect place it was to stay. Only reason for 4 out of 5 on accuracy of listing is seeking trails or nearby lakes / parks to walk. I was after that and found a few but not as many as I thought or I wasn't looking in the right areas so just more specifics around that as guests stay. Thank you very much!!!!

This place looks so cute online so I booked the place for 4 nights to visit local family.
Positives: The neighborhood is quiet. The backyard is fenced in and shady. The bedroom was small but comfy. Good internet and televisions.
Negatives: This place needs some love and elbow grease. Living room furniture was filthy with stains, smells. Food was found on living room rug. The kitchen stove needs cleaning and equipment. The backyard is nice but we could not use patio furniture— cushions were extremely old and dirty. Patio and yard had debris all over that we had to clean up.
Would recommend a hand railing for front steps as my husband fell going down them.
Overall, we were disappointed that this place didn’t match up with previous reviews and posting’s photos. We’ve stayed at a number of dog friendly places, but this place has gone to the dogs.

We were in the area to visit family and had my dogs with me. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and family friendly. The backyard is great for pets and was in full bloom during our stay. It was lovely and we're likely going to be staying here again.

It was a very cute property; very homey and welcoming. My husband and I traveled from the Mississippi Gulf Coast to visit our newborn grandson. We spent 7 nights. The Hive Cottage was cozy, clean and comfortable. The only very small issues we encountered were maneuvering the steps without rails and the very snug fit between the bathroom sink and door. We very much enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay again if we have the chance to return.

I stayed here while I was in town for a weekend for a baby shower. The house is exactly as advertised. So cute and perfect for my stay. It was just me, but I felt completely safe within the neighborhood. It's an old house (I looked - built in 1930) and it retains it's old charm while also being comfortable and clean. The only thing I found missing was an ice tray in the little freezer. It would have been nice to have ice for my drinks. But other than that tiny little thing, which was not a thing really at all, my stay was perfect.
The bathroom is teeny tiny so you won't be able to keep much in there, but it was also clean and in working order.
I would not hesitate to stay here again if my travels bring me back to the area.

Perfect home away from home for me and my husband and our three dogs while getting some work done at our house. Owner was very responsive to our questions before checking in, and during our stay. Great neighborhood, and well kept house.

This house is super cute and in a nice neighborhood. There is a fenced in backyard which was great for our dog. There is also a nice variety of food places close by. The property manager was great at providing us communication about the property.

I chose this house for my son and his dog to stay in while we attended my other son’s wedding. It was a perfect location. The inside is very welcoming and is nicely decorated and well stocked with necessities for an extended stay. I definitely would recommend and would stay again in future.

The house was cozy and in a nice neighborhood of North Wales, close to one of my favorite bagel places. I came in with my family and we all loved the house. This house was peaceful and Katelyn was very helpful checking in/out. Her communication was on point and I will be happy to bring my family back here next time we visit. Thanks Katelyn!

We loved the Hive Cottage ♥️
It was the perfect size for us. Our pups loved the fenced backyard. The fireplace made it extra cozy during the cold mornings. Super comfy beds. The neighborhood was nice, clean with large mature trees that decorated everything with color 🍁 we enjoyed our walks and the parks at each end. It is located just blocks from Main Street in N Wales which is filled with beautiful Victorian houses and lots of food options, our favorite was Alice’s Bakery 😋

Charming home with all necessities provided. The decor is perfect and the home was lovely! The host was super responsive to the one small issue we had and provided a solution quickly. Fantastic TV for football watching (we’re huge fans)! We’ll definitely be staying here again as our visit was to see family in the area and our hopes are to do so a few times a year!

I stayed here with my teen daughter while traveling for her lacrosse tournament in Conshohocken. Easy travel there and great surrounding area - close to many restaurants and easy to get to lots of farmers markets, trails, into the city, etc. Adorable house, comfortable, and in a safe neighborhood. One bathroom that is a little cozy…we kept our toiletries in our rooms. Great outdoor area that we would have liked to use but there was a lot of rain the week we were there. Communication was easy and great. There was an issue in which a paper plate my daughter was using bleached the coffee table and our host was most gracious (thank goodness for rental insurance)! I would highly recommend staying here and would again in a heartbeat!

Katelyn’s place was absolutely adorable and exactly as pictured. It was a great place for me and my pup to stay while attending graduation nearby. The location is very convenient and we felt safe walking at night. Katelyn was super responsive to any questions and we had no issues during our stay. Highly recommend her place if you’re coming to the area!

My mother and I were in town for a concert at the Mann and this was the perfect location. A quick drive into the city but far enough away that you have peace and quiet. The house was small but exactly what we needed for one night. Though we didn’t have time to put them to use, having TVs in each room is a nice touch. Katelyn was a great host and very accommodating. Thanks for a seamless stay!

The property was a very cute and cleanly cottage-like home. It is well furnished with all amenities one would need and had very comfortable beds. A lovely backyard and patio made an evening glass of wine very enjoyable. Great things all around. Thank you to the accommodating host!

I loved that this was a dog friendly place with a completely fenced backyard....... My two girls go with me everywhere and I would not travel without them. The cottage was very clean and well appointed and we were very comfortable there ...we hated to leave! Katelyn was the best!

This is a cute little pet-friendly home just a few blocks walking distance from downtown NW. Near a cool little restaurant (Alice Bakery & Confection) with great sandwiches and Everything Bagel for morning coffee and a bagel. It was winter time but I would stay again so we could walk around more and explore the area :-)

We enjoyed walking to neighbourhood parks. Katelyn is a great host, she provided prompt response to our requests. There was no microwave oven in the kitchen. We mentioned that it would be nice to have one. She ordered one and brought it to us the next day.

The Hive Cottage is a cozy and comfortable house in a nice quiet neighborhood. The outdoor space is private and relaxing. The house had not been cleaned when we arrived, but a call to the property manager fixed the problem; however, the quality of the late night cleaning was not great. I’m assuming this was an exception and not a regular occurrence.
