Marine City was the perfect spot for our family to stay during our Michigan visit. Who knew we would come on the heels of a terrible storm. The power was out for over 24 hours but even so the home was comfortable and Mike helped out with flashlights and keeping us updated on the restoration of power. Despite a bit of adversity, we thoroughly enjoyed the area- Marine City and St. Claire- great food, shopping or just relaxing and watching the boats on the river. Mike was a wonderful host.

What else can be said except WOW! We stay in a lot of rental properties and this one totally blew us away! The home is incredibly spacious, cozy, and clean. We stayed for 10 days and really enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen, access to extra towels, and the ability to do laundry. The location of the home is also amazing, a block from the Marine City beach and short drives to Detroit, St Claire, and Port Huron. Internet was fast enough for all 3 of us to work on video calls and we had no interruptions. The hosts were also very kind and great communicators. We felt right at home, which is perfect considering we were in the area looking for property. We can’t wait to have family and friends stay here to visit us after we permanently move to the thumb coast!

Is is an older home but it is well taken care of and very clean. We loved sitting out on the large front porch! We were very comfortable here and we will definitely stay again. I had a question regarding our stay and the host was extremely quick to respond. Nothing but positive things to say about this property. Thanks for a great stay!

This place is perfect for a family of 8! It’s close to the beach and walking distance to town, absolutely loved the stay!

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely home. My wife and I were joined by our son and granddaughter for a brief 2-night stay. The house is about a block from the river and within .5 miles of several restaurants and small shops. Communication with the owner, Mike was easy and timely. Highly recommend this property for your stay in Marine City.

Mike’s house is spacious and very comfortable. The location is great, short distance to shops and restaurants. The house is well stocked with everything you would need (and nice fluffy towels). The street is busy and a bit noisy, but we would definitely stay again. The welcome gift of chocolates was a nice surprise!

This property was nicely located - we walked downtown for shopping and restaurants. The house was comfy, clean and well-appointed. The hosts made it so easy to check in and out. They had helpful literature about the house and the area. It was very welcoming. We would to stay there again.

Nice quiet backyard

We came here for a week with family and it was perfect for us. The space allowed for us all to have privacy and together time. We enjoyed cooking meals in the kitchen together and drinking coffee on the porch. The mosquitos were more intense than we expected and kept us from eating outside and using the fire pit very much but perhaps this is because the house is close to the water. And the outdoor grill was great! Regardless, we would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location for the few days our family had during sports season break. In style furnishings and adequate places for all to relax. Nice walks around the town. And enjoyed a short trip to lakeside beach on Lake Huron.

This house is perfectly located in Marine City, close walking distance to everywhere. The house is immaculate and equipped with everything you needed. It’s for sure our home away from home. We really enjoyed our stay there; the front porch and back patio were icing on the cake. Will definitely come back. Thanks Mike!
