This condo is located within a large resort which has four restaurants, four bars, a spa and a casino. The condo features a spectacular outdoor lagoon swimming pool(s) with swim-up bar, lush tropical gardens and balcony views overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The complex is gated and as 24-hour security with the parking lot conveniently located within the gates. The "Diria Oceano Estates" condominium and resort is located in the center of the vibrant downtown Tamarindo, with beach access right across the street.

There are many quaint restaurants, shops, markets, nightlife, medical facilities and activities only steps away from the complex. Overall this is a nice condo, lots of space, and beautiful views of the resort pool and the ocean. Overall very clean and very nicely decorated with home decore. Kitchen has cooking pans and some seasonings and oil to cook with, beds are very comfortable. The condo building and grounds are also very beautiful! Even better than the pictures. Only cons are some minor issues with the bathroom faucets that need some maintenance and the spare bathroom had a sewer gas smell coming from one of the drains but it wasnt badd if you kept the window open. Also somehow their wifi had gotten unplugged and put away so we were not able to use the wifi until our last day we finally figured it out. There was another box we thought was it, but was not. Overall enjoyed our stay and thought the price was a good value for all the space.

Grounds/Location- large well maintained grounds. Very clean and centrally located. Nice pools. Fun swim up bar. safe and plenty of activities in the area. Condo - clean. well maintained. A couple of minor maintenance issues to be addressed in between guest. Plenty of nice touches such as laundry soap and a great guide to activities and trust worthy folks to contact to assist in scheduling. Check-in - worst experience I've had checking into a property. We arrived at 5:03pm and property management company was closed. We were able to easily access the wrist bands to get on to property grounds. The instructions provided by property management company neglected to inform of a detail regarding unlocking a gate vs. key lock box. Unfortunately this detail was noted in a VRBO message that was not accessible due to lack of internet. We had approximately 11 people assist from security, bellman, etc. and we could not access property. Significant difficulty communicating with Property Management Company(you will need to have WhatsApp to communicate). After almost 2 hours attempting to access property we ended up staying the first night at another property. Highly recommend checking in during business hours if you are going to stay at this property. It is a lovely property, just challenging to access with instructions provided.

The unit is exactly as described and is in a great location. We were in the middle of town and was able to easily walk everywhere. The master bedroom is huge, and with 2 bedrooms it for 4 adults fine. You do have access to the pool which has a pool bar, but that pool bar closes at 5pm which we felt was quite early. Overall we enjoyed the unit and would definitely come back.

Beautiful condo and would stay here again. For about the same price per night as the Diria Hotel, I feel like this was a much better value as it’s basically a fully furnished home and SO close to the beach. Only two issues (that have nothing to do with the unit itself or the owner) - #1 the pool is overly chlorinated and burned my kids’ eyes, and #2 we had a bad experience with check in. We arrived to Tamarindo when it was already dark after driving for 4 hours, and had a hard time finding the property and once we found it could not figure out how to open the gate. The property manager refused to answer her phone and would only respond by text but not really answering our questions - it was one of those situations where a phone call would have been a lot faster. We finally figured it out and after I got done being annoyed with the property manager, thoroughly enjoyed the rest of our time in Tamarindo.

Loved the property and condo. Everything was provided and super clean. Very quiet location but close to everything one would want in Tamarindo. Monkeys in the tree outside were great! Pool was fantastic! Would definitely stay at this condo again when in town.

We had an ant infestation the first night in the second bedroom. There were at least 40 big red ants crawling on the floor and walls and they kept coming. The TVs were not connected, I had to find an HDMI cable to connect the bedroom tv. It was inconvenient to have to try to fix these issues late at night on our first night. Our kids ended up sleeping on the pull out sofa as the second bedroom was uninhabitable due to ants. Owner refused any credit and at first attempted to blame us for not contacting them sooner (which we did contact the property owner). Unprofessional initial response from the owner.

The location of the condo cannot be beat, everything is within an easy walk. The condo is very comfortable, we had no major issues during our 5 week stay. The Property Manager, Nathalie, was the best, very responsive and professional.
