Good value for money. Fine breakfast

Breakfast excellent, it did feel more like a guest house. There appears every effort is being made to upgrade the property and they are on track. Very good value for money.

Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Sehr netter Empfang, aufmerksames Personal. Sehr, sehr gutes italienisches Essen. Intetessante Unterhaltung mit dem Chef. Zimmer sind schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber durchaus charmant und sehr geräumig.

Lovely hosts and good location.

Supremely lovely friendly hosts. Room perfect for my needs, comfortable bed, tea coffee kettle TV, shower room with hot water. Good variety at breakfast. Central location and small car park and off street parking available. Very kind and accommodating family running the place.

Other guests a little noisy Friday and Saturday night, which is to be expected perhaps. A lot of single use plastic items at breakfast which could be phased out.

Very Pleasent Stay

Wonderful Staff very helpful always with a warm smile and a warm welcome looking forward to my next stay for more wonderful food also...

Nothing to do with the hotel but seagulls were very distruptive even with windows closed still wake you up 4am. sign of the times i think.

Don't go if you want to be treated like dirt

Did not stay it was a disgraceful dirty fifty place and the staff was a joke did not get ours money back this was our diamond wedding anniversary and had to go to Inverness I it cost us £235 Can Booking.com get in touch with us. 80 years ago I was born in the Gorbals this place was as badshould be condemned

It was three stairs up very steep and when we was going out the.wife asked can she please use the toilet the lady refused the council should condemned the place if don't get money back going to trading standards been in lots of hotels this is a nightmare

Very convenient and pleasant stopping off point as we began the NC500

Wonderful breakfast. Great service. Pleasant conversation with hosts. Convenient to have the restaurant on site for dinner also on a wet evening when we arrived. Easy to find on the main road.

The weather didn’t permit us to explore the town and beach.

Breakfast was delicious, and the dining conservatory was LOVELY! However we both had upset stomach’s after eating and both assumed it was something in the breakfast…??

The room was very old and dated. Felt like we had stepped into the 1960’s.

Superb cooked breakfast. Plenty choice of cereals, fruit juice etc. Great milky coffee.

Nothing. Although the single room was quite small, it was adequate enough for a one night stay. Very comfortable bed.

out of the way place to stay for day trips

Large room, big towels. Friendly staff. I only stayed one night but I think it could be a nice base for some day trips in the area while staying away from more crowded cities. The restaurant was very good, too.

Exceptional

The room was large with a great ensuite but the best thing was being able to eat in the Italian restaurant downstairs after a long day of travelling - the food was excellent!

A very enjoyable time and the Italian restaurant was an added blessing and very good.

The breakfast was great! We enjoyed the location in a quiet and small town.

The only thing was the traffic noise outside since the hotel is right on the street, but the main noise came from the seagulls ...they were relentless .

A gem in the highlands

A very pleasant stay. The staff were fantastic.We had dinner the night of our stay and this was fabulous. The breakfast was outstanding and plentiful. Top marks to our hosts . They were wonderful. We will certainly be back. Our only regret was we only booked one night. !

Our most enjoyable stay of our short touring trip of this area of Scotland.

A lovely spacious corner room overlooking the town, very clean, tastefully decorated and carpeted throughout. Good location for the town though a distance from the beach. Helpful and friendly staff. A good breakfast and excellent evening meal in the restaurant.

The room was a little too light at night.

Lovely friendly hotel. Can't fault anything. Run by lovely welcoming people, too. Very comfortable big room and exquisite food and wine! Best sleep I've had for ages 😴

The only thing that annoyed me was that I hadn't found this place before. Will definitely be back, and as soon as I can. Many thanks indeed

Really hospitable, professional warmth and in a great location; excellent value for money

Breakfast was great. The owners were really lovely, very hospitable. The pasta I tried in the restaurant was also lovely.

The single room was quite basic and is perhaps due a coat of paint but to be honest, in terms of value for money it was absolutely fine.

Excellent hospitality from owners and staff. Meals were also excellent. To a very high standard.

Breakfast was very good. Location was excellent.

Property was very tired and in need of modernisation. Furniture very poor. Unhygenic carpets in bathroom.

Food both at breakfast and evening meal was very good and delivered promptly. Bedroom warm. Staff very friendly and helpful if ever asked for anything.
