Inside, contemporary design meets Southern elegance with large paned windows casting their dazzling light across the open-plan living area and nods to the city’s history of jazz in the artwork decking the walls. Make yourself comfortable on the sofa with a cold drink or gather around the chic dining table for a hearty feast when you’re not out sampling the local food scene. The main bedroom, is a sumptuous affair with its neutral palette, grand bed and high ceilings, while the other two bedrooms are more pared-back yet no less stylish and comfortable. You’ve also got access to a communal courtyard decked out with an oversized chess set, as well as a shared pool that beckons long dips in its cool waters on treacly afternoons when you’re not out seeing the sights. Speaking of exploring, you’ve got plenty of cultural hotspots within easy reach, including the countless bars and restaurants along St Charles Avenue, Harmony Circle (a five-minute walk), the Southern Food and Beverage Museum (a seven-minute walk), as well as the bright lights of Bourbon Street (a twenty-minute walk).
