Pleasant Country accommodation

My husband was recovering from heart surgery and this afforded him a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere to recuperate.

The room was clean and comfortable. The hosts were very accommodating, giving us a different room and getting it ready for us quickly. The property was huge allowing our little dog lots of room to run. Very quiet setting. BBB available at a reasonable extra cost ($10.00 per night) so we were able to cook our own meals. Pricing very reasonable.

Tremendous value. Wonderful owner. Great stay.

Fantastic value for money. A lovely view of fields out the back patio of the motel rooms. Fridge & microwave in rooms. Friendly welcome from the lovely owner and his wife and staff. I don’t usually stay in motels, but this was a really pleasant surprise!

My stay was better than I expected. Great place to visit.

We didn't have breakfast but we were so impressed with the room and the staff. The room was immaculate, the patio was very welcome as we had a dog with us. Everyone was so friendly. Grounds really nice. Looking forward to next year.

Sorry, I couldn't find anything not to like. Everything was supplied so there are no complaints.

Superb

Me and my buddy were touring the Kawartha's on our motorcycles and motels were scarce but this one had rooms available. When you first see the motel you can tell this is an old type motel. The outside looked well taken care of. What a pleasant surprise when you enter the room. It looks new fresh paint, hard floors and a new bathroom. The owners are super people. My wife and I will be touring the Kawartha's when the leaves start to change colors and I hope there will be a room at this motel available. Great place and great value you won't be dissatisfied.

I personally have no complaints.

Very good

It’s super clean and I’m really fussy. I loved that there was a big property behind the unit so I could give my dog a good walk. It’s on the highway so sone highway traffic noise, but overall, I loved it for the money spent.

Great motel!

Very nice place - very friendly and welcoming. May is an incredibly nice woman. She provided us with helpful info about surrounding area. There was a little basket with some fruit and granola bars, mini fridge, good size tv and kitchenette. Hotel has a very big backyard where our kids player soccer. All in all, it was a great stay for the price. Would definitely stay again!

Relaxing and welcoming visit near fenelon falls

Great location, friendly owners, peaceful and nice space for our English bulldog to run around at the back of property. I left items behind in room and staff kindly found them and returned them to me.

This is a nice clean well maintained motel in a very good location. I would stay here again.

Friendly and helpful staff. Location was perfect, right across the road from Balsam lake, so almost in heart of Kawarthas. Room was clean and well maintained.

Well, I couldn’t get any sports on tv so couldn’t watch the Blue Jays game, and the bed and pillows could have been more comfortable.

Would do it again!

There was a little basket with some fruit and granola bars, bottles of water, tons of towels, face cloths, mini fridge, good size tv, place was quiet, very clean and staff was very nice. All in all, it was a great stay for the price. Would definitely stay again!

It was more up to date than what you expect from a Motel. The room was cozey but modern. Bathroom was new.

=We only stayed overnight but we were very happy with everything.

I liked that the accommodation was very clean and staff extremely helpfull and friendly.

The heat could have been turned on as it was extremely cold when we arrived Hand soap could also have been provided.

The room was very spacious and clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly and I would stay there again.

The front window didn't have a dark curtain so the building lighting was shining in making it kind of hard to sleep.

Motels in this area are few and far between Stone Fountain is a little gem.

We were visiting a friend nearby and the location was great for us not very far from a nice restaurant in Coboconk for breakfast. May the owner is very friendly and goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable.

We have no dislikes at all.
