Property was as listed and perfect for our visit. A few things were broken/damaged upon our arrival but we let them know and communication with the property manager was great.

This is a mixed review. The house itself is great. It’s in an appealing historic neighborhood and still manages to have a lot of space. The kitchen and bathrooms are updated and the beds are very supportive and comfortable. However, we had a major water problem right away. The house floor drains were blocked. The first clue was the standing gross water in the dishwasher. The second clue was the blocked drain in the first floor shower that had to be manually cleared (gross again!) to make the water go down. But the worst is that those first showers led to flooding in the basement that flowed into the basement bedroom. This was clearly black water (I won’t get into those gross details). We had to leave the house in the morning and it should not be rented again until this problem is thoroughly remedied. We realized after the fact that someone else wrote a review about this in March and yet they still kept our reservation. I do have to say that the owner, Evolve and VRBO were all great to work with about this. They fully refunded our money and gave us money for the replacement hotel.

The property was nice. However the basement flooded. The main bathroom shower leaked in the bathroom and basement. Dishwasher didn’t work and it smelled spoiled when we arrived. We asked for a compromise by having a late check out but was denied. Probably wouldn’t rebook.

Large spacious home in a great location. Very secure and safe and kept warm enough - even in negative temps. There were not a lot of towels, shower soap, dish soap, etc so you'll want to bring that yourself. You'll also need to purchase any spices including salt. The owner asks guests to wash and put away all dishes so they aren't very clean and need rewashed before use. This homeowner also makes you pull garbage to the curb. This homeowner did not shovel the walkway or stairs after snow and there was no shovel. The TV is a smart TV and you will need to have streaming accounts to watch anything. Summary: The amount of space was great but the homeowner doesn't treat you like a guest in their home - more a tenant.

We rented this home for our annual sisters/nieces weekend. Overall, the home was very nice & met our needs, but we did encounter the following issues: Not enough TP First floor bathroom door doesn’t close properly and ventilation fan is broken Not enough bedding (no blankets, top sheets, or extra bedding for hide-a-beds) Rickety front porch railing (for handicapped sister) Need lamps besides overhead lights Not enuf dish soap, coffee pods for Kuerig, or tea

Overall was an okay stay. Poorly stocked kitchen. No toaster. Had to improvise in multiple areas. Location and neighborhood were good.

Great location if visiting the Henry Ford. Quiet neighborhood. Well decorated house and very functional. However, it is an older house, so the floors creak. Not a problem unless you have light sleepers.
