The house is very clean and luxurious with the swimming pool and 3 bathrooms, but we missed the cozy English atmosphere. The kitchen utensils could also have been more extensive (casserole, potato peeler, teacups, etc.). It was also very warm in the house because of the heating for the swimming pool. On the ground floor, only a small window could be opened in the kitchen. Translate text with your camera We enjoyed our stay but will book another house from Keepers Cottage next time.

Beautiful accommodation, peaceful location & a great base for exploring the local area. The swimming pool and sauna were thoroughly enjoyed by all.

We had a lovely stay at this house in July 2023, unfortunately we had typical English weather, but the pool helped to make the wet afternoons or mornings more enjoyable. The house is great for a family with lots of space, my only comment would be it would be helpful for one of the rooms to have twin beds, instead of three double rooms. The kitchen was well equipped if you want to cook a meal and there is a lovely outside area to eat weather permitting. Dog friendly garden too.

This property was pure luxury. The photos are good but don’t fully do justice to the size of the place. We can’t think of much that hasn’t already been thought of to allow for a very special experience indeed. If we had one suggestion, a bigger fridge would have been a nice touch and we feel there is ample space for a freestanding one in the kitchen without losing the overall spacious feel. The only other comment was that the property becomes very warm indeed during particularly hot weather. But we shouldn’t really complain about such things! Overall, a fantastic place to stay.

The cottage is well equipped and very clean. There was fruit left in the fruit bowl and a bottle of chilled wine in the fridge when we arrived. A nice gesture. The bedrooms were all ensuite and the beds were Super comfortable. To be cool though you had to keep the window open overnight even though fans were provided, however the temperatures have been high this summer. The pool was well maintained, cleaned weekly - timed to the day we arrived. My grandson had many play swimming lessons from mum and dad in it. The dog enjoyed the garden and all lost balls were thrown back over the hedge by the owners next door. The area is very peaceful with plenty of walks nearby and Canterbury for a historic visit a very short drive away. The Pig at Bridge is definitely worth a visit for a meal, or just coffee and cake.
