Our group of girls from High School rent a VRBO every year to go away to. This year we loved the comfort of this home. The two table seat 16 people. We played cards at dinners together and had our annual craft making all together. Fun. One of the air conditioners was not working and Joe had someone fix it right away. He was always available for our text and calls. Great host. The outside porch was beautiful. The walk down to the dock was gorgeous. The beds were comfy and plenty of towels. We hope to go back next year.

This place was AMAZING! The area down at the water was great. We set up a pop-up tent and pulled our boats and jetskis straight up to the beach area. There was ample room for everyone in our group of 15 and plenty for them to do when we got back from our days on the lake. We had an absolute blast.

We had a nice stay at this house. This home has plenty of bedrooms. We were very comfortable & felt at home! Originally we booked for 14 people, but only 12 were able to come. This trip was a surprise for for my brother's 70th birthday! And yes, he was surprised! Some previous reviews noted that the kitchen was well stocked. We found that to be true. There was even a cake pan to bake a cake! We enjoyed swimming, kayaking, and sitting on the screened in porch! Thank you, Joseph!

This house had everything we needed! Enough beds, all kitchen needs! The screened in porch was an added bonus! The only thing we would have liked is a pantry to put all the food that four families brought. Would definitely recommend this for a large group gathering!

The kayaks and watercraft were awesome. Plenty of boats for our large group. There were also plenty of beds, and the kitchen was well stocked.

Communication with Joe was quick and easy. The house is beautiful and on an amazing piece of land. Plenty of room and amenities for our ladies’ group. Clean, well stocked, very comfy furniture and beds. The only con is all 3 bathrooms are upstairs via a narrow spiral staircase. (However, it is an easy walk around to the front door if you don’t want to use the stairs.) Several bedrooms are also upstairs in case you have those who can’t use them. Home access is handicap accessible. It is out-of-the-way and first arrival is best during daylight due to narrow, winding road. Plenty of parking in a gravel area that is fairly flat overall. Once there you will have a great visit!

The house was great for our large family gathering. Due to the weather, we did not make use of the lake or screened in porch. There were plenty of rooms for each group and the living/kitchen space was great for everyone to spend time together.

Pretty sure it advertised a hot tub. Host was difficult to get hold of when water went out. Had to go to neighbors. Some moldy drywall upstairs on ceilings. Water reversed in one bathroom. Advertised to accommodate 23 ppl. Brought 12. Was charged an extra guest fee. Staircase kinda sketchy. Toaster didn’t work properly. No bathroom in basement Exteriol lights lacking. No storage for four food. Water heater not big enough.
On the positive side, plenty of seating. Well stocked kitchen. Ice maker was nice. Star link internet was great. Once got hold of neighbors our water problem was quickly resolved.

Me and my family had a wonderful time at this lake house. The house was clean and very big. Lots of room for a big family. We saw deer everyday on the property. The lake was really cool. The kids loved down stairs. Thank you for letting us stay. Very quiet area as well.

GREAT!!! What a beautiful setting, house, weather, etc.!! My siblings and spouses (15 in all) had so much fun! The kitchen was well stocked and a huge table to sit around to eat and play games. The fire pit was a great place to gather at the end of the evening to reminisce. A trip to Happy Jack’s Winery on Saturday afternoon was fantastic and highly recommended.

The house was fantastic, plenty of room and very much surprised at how many extras like board games and card games great big back yard with swing , access to kayaks and other water things

screen in area was fantastic very comfortable. One downside the thermostat is not able to be adjusted, you have to call host and he can remotely change the temperature to what you want need a one you can adjust with limits on how high and low you want it. Over all my family had a great time and would highly recommend the house.

We had a wonderful time. Best stocked kitchen we’ve ever had. We had 15 there (4 generations) and had plenty of room, even for us to have family meals at one table, and things to do to keep us busy. The owner is very responsive and accommodating. The only downfall is there is no bathroom downstairs. Lots of wildlife to see. Again, we had a wonderful time. The house worked very well for us. Bedroom set-up is great, with 3 rooms on each end upstairs, and 2 more bedrooms downstairs. The kitchen is very well stocked, but I'd recommend a coffee maker besides the Keurig. The swim area of the lake is beautiful, but it is a bit of a walk down the lane. We loved it overall.

We had 17 people, aged 2 to 76. Communication with the owner was great, even with really spotty AT&T cell service. We all had a wonderful time between the big kitchen for family meals, comfy furniture and the large tables for eating and games. The screened in deck was a neat spot for hanging out. The fire pit and adirondack chairs allowed for bonding as the sun set making s'mores. The lake provided awesome family time between swimming, canoeing, kayaking and kid fishing. I wish we could have stayed longer!

The house was nice and roomy. Bc it rained off and on the whole time we were there we spent a lot of time inside. Was glad they have corn hole boards and the enclosed deck area. We loved the 2 tables which we pushed together so we could all eat together. Lots of room to spread out.

Mom's 88th birthday was spent at your beautiful home. LOVED the porch, spent a lot of time there playing cards and domino's. Even saw a deer! Beds were comfortable with lots of extra blankets and pillows. Kitchen had great pots, pans and dishes.
The only issue we had was the bathrooms. 1 shower was very tiny, the shower in the master had a slope in it and was not safe for Mom. The handicap bathroom had no hot water, so the tiny shower it was!
We had a great time and will recommend it to friends.

We absolutely loved this house! Host was very responsive to questions, tons and tons of room and this was one of the best stocked houses I have ever used for vacation. The walk to the lake was easy-the water was low so we couldn't use the dock but it was easy to get into the lake at the swimming hole area. The firepit area was a real highlight!

The location was great. We loved being close but not directly on the waterfront. (It was a short walk down the path from the house.) The neighborhood streets were great for walks—we went out several times and didn’t see any cars. Bunkbeds, swing, and fairy gardens made it a great place for our house full of kids. The atmosphere was relaxed and the kitchen and linens were clean and well stocked. We would have liked to have access to a second fridge. It’s a remote location and being a large group we had a lot of perishables. We also found the spiral staircase hazardous to our toddlers and we would have appreciated less clutter/personal belongings… we had to move some things to keep our children out of them. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our stay!

Pro tip Bring kayaks/canoes/fishing poles. One of the best equipped kitchens and homes we have ever rented for our yearly retreat. Neighbors were friendly but not intrusive. We had 9 men stay here and there was more room for more. This is definitely a gem for larger groups and big families.

So many comfy beds to be found in this spacious house! 12 adult women spent a weekend together and had zero issues with anything. Separate ice maker was a welcome addition. Everything worked perfectly. The house was clean and extremely well stocked. Check out process was fast and simple.
The host, Joe, was awesome to deal with and was accommodating in every way. The house is in a remote area, so come prepared with everything you will need.

I stayed over the New Year with friends. It is hard to find somewhere large enough for all of us, while staying budget friendly. This property was perfect. The owner was kind enough at check in to ensure we made it ok and everything was good with the property.
