Ubicación excelente. Limpieza, la marca de productos para aseo personal huele riquísimo y de excelente calidad.

El sabor de la comida, preparación y presentación puede mejorar. La iluminación de la habitación, no hay lámpara de buroe.

Clean bright place in a perfect location for a relaxed stop over in Tlaquepaque.

This is my go to hotel for a stop over between a bus ride to Guadalajara and a flight to the US (or anywhere with a direct flight from Guadalajara). It is in the midst of the artisan boutique shops of Tlaquepaque, and within walking distance the bustling mercado. It is a clean euro style place with very responsive staff and a lovely roof top balcony. They have a nice fruit and yogurt breakfast to get you started.

The free drinks for guests they offer are not much to speak of, but who cares

We had to ring the bell to come in every time, but I understand it's for security!

Gem in Tlaquepaque

The location was superb, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, the staff were all so helpful and very friendly. We travel frequently to Guadalajara for business and will definitely return to DEX.

Beautiful and well located

Spotless, well kept and stylish - good toiletries. Shower nice. Enjoyed a welcome drink. Staff wonderful and helpful. Great location.

The only addition would be a coffee machine and fridge. Other than that - perfect

nice place, near a lot of places, don’t ecpect a “continental breakfast “

comfortable rooms, excellent location with a variety of restaurants nearby

we were only there 1 night and had to leave early next morning, so we didn’t get to utilize the pool. Also, because we left early, I don’t think they were ready with the included breakfast. we got a bowel of minimal fruit and yogurt, plus 2 cookies. the coffee was free but I had to pay for my daughter’s orange juice.

Our stay was pleasant, excellent service and we felt safe.

The location was perfect. Within walking distance of the plaza.

The only thing that happened was that our room was facing the street so noise from the street could be heated till late at night.

Beautiful boutique hotel with updated modern design and nice beds.

The acoustics are terrible. The hotel is mainly stone and there are no rugs or anything to absorb the noise. Every person that entered the lobby and on their way to the room echoed throughout the whole hotel and kept me up most of the night. The restaurant next-door played loud music until 3 AM.

It was only one night but it was fine.

nice location

there was a party on the rooftop the night before we were to leave early in the morning 4:15am. It went on till 9pm or so then slowly it was better but we were in bed trying to sleep so it made it harder to fall asleep.

In a nutshell .... an excellent place to stay.

HOTEL DEX IS A GEM!! Located in Tlequepaque, a neighbourhood adjacent to Guadalajara, Hotel Dex is a brand new hotel, the best option in our opinion. Situated on a relatively quiet street immediately next to colourful main Independencia Avenue. Our room (205) was spacious with a large state of the art bathroom. Bed, bedding and pillows were particularly comfortable. Most attractive is the balcony overlooking the pool offering the option of sleeping in a quiet environment with a screened door for fresh air or using individual A/C. Additional assets are wooden floors and marble tiles, particularly minimalist design, even and acceptable water pressure and hot water. At breakfast, coffee, fruits and muffins are included in the room fare. Paula, responsable for welcoming and hosting (speaks English) and Carlos, responsable for other services, were very welcoming, professional and always eager to help. The other staff was also interested in providing good service.

Tlequepaque is advantageously situated at only 6 metro stations from Guadalajara Centro historico on new metro Linea 3 that also takes you to Zapopan. The only drawback is that the metro station (Tlequepaque Centro) is at 20min walking distance from Hotel Dex and nearby Tlequepaque main attractions. This can be overcome by using Uber for only a few pesos. If one absolutely needs to criticize this hotel then perhaps the addition of a fridge and a security box in the room could be an asset if such is important for you.

The positive about this hotel is the location.

Seriously overpriced hotel. No safe in the room, no mini-fridge. Room smelled like fresh paint. Was never asked if there was anything wrong with my room.

I would happily return.

Sparkling new small hotel in a great location with very nice and helpful staff. Met my criteria of clean, comfortable, and convenient. Nice continental breakfast included, with delicious fresh fruit.

Rooms facing street may be bit noisy, but quieter after 10 pm or so.

Outstanding.

We travel to this area often and have stayed in many hotels in the area. Dex is new, just opened in April. The location is super convenient, we had parking at the hotel and the decorating and the rooms exceeded our expectations. Perhaps though the very best part of our stay was because of the staff. They were friendly, helpful and more than went out of their way to make our stay the best it could be. The Dex is our hotel of choice now when we are in town. Great job. You should be proud of yourselves.

I dont think I can think of anything that could have been improved upon.

this may be our favorite stay ever! wish we could have taken it with us as we travel!

we loved everything! the design, comfort, location, staff. not a large common space but it worked perfectly. the room was well thought out and functioned great!
