Embassy Suites by Hilton Los Angeles Downey was unclean outside. Way too many children & young adults.

This was my second and last stay for a vacation trip I planned for a 2week stay. I was able to use my phone to check in due to a late flight however I was met with the worse possible stay ever! I paid the room full in advance with a premium suite which I was given on the 8th floor and that’s where the disaster began ! I was very tired after traveling all day and to see that I was met with dirty sheets which looked to have fresh lipstick stains and sticky substance. I was then astonished by the conditions of the bathroom where there was not only mold which you can smell coming from the drains and seen on the lower and upper wall in the shower and broken shower head but on the inside in the shower floor was unleveled severely which came to my first incident where I almost fell . My second incident where I did slip was due to not only the loose handle to the shower but also a crack in the shower which continuously leaked and formed a puddle on the outside of the bathroom floor . When I reached out the front desk to change room due to the conditions they simply let me know that they could downgrade my room or send maintenance and housekeeping (which I wasn’t ok with) . When magicians came they only tightened the handles on the sliding glass doors to the shower but DID NOT FIX the shower head nor the leak and housekeeping never changed the sheets “yet came “ for days into my stay . Lastly they keep charging my card on file days out from my stay with an additional $68 .

We got COVID and we're to sick to travel. Embassy Suites refused to cancel our reservation and never responded to our request to cancel. We've stayed at this, and many other embassy suites when traveling and will no longer consider them.

It’s a long wait for our food to come. And they serve us the wrong order.

Upon arrival the property is dated, lobby clean, elevators not all working and super slow. I was on the 3rd floor, room a/c was nice, room appeared clean until closer look. Hair in the sink, stopper was stopped not able to open, hair in the tub, later shower head was clogged and not cleaned ever as a super slow drain. Carpet was disgusting! Wall outlets did not work around the bed at all, after moving the night stand it was disgusting dirty. So I could not use my CPAP. Bed was okay not the best but not the worst. No house keeping ever! I booked a room for 6 and only two towels were in the room really!! Front lobby did not pick up the phone so I had to walk down for all issues. Pool area was dated, breakfast area was not clean, food was so processed except the omelets but they burned mine. Coffee was okay, juice was water downed so bad, and the dinning area was antiquated and not clean very sticky. I booked a three day weekend but left after one night. Paying for parking $17 was a joke. I have traveled a lot for work and I have stayed at better Motels than this location. The cannabis smell was everywhere, the fear of bed bugs was everywhere as many reviews stated. I checked out early and no apologies or questions as to why from the lobby clerk. Obviously they don't care here.

Beautiful building great breakfast

For the money that we paid the receptionist gave us a room that had a bad odor and the were holds in the walls. The second room had the same bad smell and was very cold, had to ask for blankets

This hotel was horrible. The staff was nice but the cleanliness was the worst! It was moldy and stuffy. The showers had scum on them. The pool had a layer of chlorine and was not able to swim in it. I will never stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was yummy! Milk at the breakfast could habe been colder. Staff was friendly.

The room sleeps 6. We reserved 2 rooms because there were 10 of us. Each room only have 2 towels. It’s just frustrating to arrive in the middle of the night and you’re tired and you have to how down yo the front desk because the phone will just keep ringing and ringing. $6 for a bottle of water and will only take cash because they don’t have a card reader according to the front desk when in fact we swiped our card to pay for our room but we can’t use our card to pay for the $6 for 1 bottle of water. Rediculous . Yes All of the staff in the dining area are rude. None of them are polite. In my opinion they need more customer service training. No, I don’t recommend this hotel!

The woman who checked us in was rude and did not offer any extra room keys. The renovation of the place looked decent until you go into the bathroom which was so small. The door almost hits the toilet. It was not clean at all. Rust on the toilet, scum in the showers. Not very clean. They tried to mask it with the renovations done to the place.

Manager is a complete joke

The property was ran down. Our tv stopped working at 9:30pm at night and no one was able to fix it. I had two rooms and both tvs stopped working. We waited over an hour until I was able to get ahold of the front desk and they said there was no work around and it was down for the whole 8th floor. The shower was dirty and the grout started to form mold. I had higher expectations for this hotel.

Horrible stay, after booking the room 2 weeks before i still had trouble checking in. No rooms available, waited over an hour to get checked in. After being checked in room was dirty all kinds of toys probably from the guest before that no one cleaned under the bed. Front desk and manager were very rude. Love embassy suites but not this stay at downey

I have to say that we love this Embassy, location is good, neighborhoods nearby are safe, and we have stayed at this location at least 15 times and this is the first time this happened. We got to our room and didn't realize till we were laying down for bed that the air conditioner wasn't working. We called front desk about 1 am and asked for a fan, which was delivered quickly, but still we were still warm the whole night, didn't use blankets, and for us, we like a room cold, and to snuggle under comfy blankets, we didn't get that. End result I called and they awarded me points into my Hilton reward program which was equivalent to $150, so with that said I will not give up on Embassy. We could have maybe asked for another room but the kids were asleep and it was 1 am, the last thing we wanted to do was move rooms.

Excellent service,nice and friendly,very clean ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ next family vacation,defently we will stay again! All staff are so super friendly,good job guys!🙌
