Stayed here after a friend's wedding. We called ahead of time and told the desk we were going to check in late. This was no problem; the staff were friendly and accommodated us well.
We stayed in the second building. Room layout was a little strange: the bathroom and closet were as far from the door as possible, and the air conditioner was in an alcove in the back of the room. No complaints regarding cleanliness or comfort, bathroom was clean and shower was pleasant, bed was comfortable. It's nothing terribly fancy, but that's ok. Would stay again.

Great place to stay close to UConn campus. Rooms were newly renovated and spacious. Very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Older hotel, but overall decent for a 1-night stay. Super close to Eastern Connecticut and UConn. Breakfast consisted of cereal, fresh fruit, prepacked pastries, and drinks (coffee, juice, etc) - McDonald's is across the street and Applebee's next door (with long waits on the weekend).

Overall, my stay was excellent. However, my stay commenced with me being told I had an outstanding balance, which i did not. After showing the desk person my Expedia receipt, he allowed me to stay without having to make further payment. Notwithstanding, it was not how I wanted my stay to begin,.

Desk staff was very helpful with any questions I had, both in person and over the phone! Very sweet. The room was clean- and the AC kept the room a very good temperature.
Primary con is that the bed was very small- luckily the room had two beds because me and my partner couldn't both lay down comfortably on one

Not bad. Clean and nice enough. A little pricey for what it was but for the area it was the cheapest decent place. Eateries within walking distance. Breakfast was barely continental but it was there.

The hallways had an overpowering perfume smell as if they were trying to coverup another scent. We told them on Friday night the hot tub was not working and they said they’d look in to in. Asked again on Saturday and still nothing….the water was freezing cold. Two false fire alarms at 9;30 pm; one on each night. The continental breakfast was underwhelming. On check out three other people with us we’re waiting for service after almost 30 minutes the clerk came in carrying his take out food order. Asked for my final bill and was given someone else’s and now have their personal information. If I could do a do over I would get my money back and go elsewhere. DONT stay there

Smelled like urine in stairway and Overwhelming flowery smell in rooms to cover whatever other smells in this hotel. So much others at breakfast said they cold not sleep. Breakfast no warm good. Cereal, muffins, coffee, oatmeal ect.

The hotel was good for a basic hotel stay. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. The "windows" in the room look out onto the interior hallway, so limited natural light and no ability to get fresh air, which made it stuffy and dark.

Breakfast,Okay for over night, Room are Okay but noisy can hear outside very clear not well insulated ,the Bathroom, toilet and shower need to be update, and the sink always gets backup

Our room, in the newer part of the building was nice; the bed was comfortable and it was clean.
However, the common areas, especially the bathroom on the lower level off the lobby, was well below par.
The check in agent could not get the printer to work, so that process took way too long. No elevator is also inconvenient.

Chemical smell overboard! Really terrible, we all had headaches. The pool was something else - they put so much chlorine in that it starts to sting before you even get into the water! We mentioned it day one to front desk, day two to cleaning staff but nothing was done about it. Last day it smelled like a smoke bomb went off in the hallway. This is decidedly on our skip list.

Overall, a descent stay for overnight. The complimentary breakfast was sub-par though; Packaged danishes, muffins, dry cereal and yogurts. A but more variety would have been appreciated. Something that resembled continental breakfast.
