The room was so filthy we had to ask for a new room, the second room was not even cleaned either the third rom was alright. Our dog ate something that was on the floor of the first room and became very sick, thankfully she recovered, horrible experience I didn’t sleep much.

Need to replenish breakfast.

They were not sensitive to my wife’s handicap concerning room assignment she had to walk a long way to our room. Also I was awakened by a bug crawling on my arm, we didn’t find any evidence of bedbugs

Bedding and bathroom was clean, floors had just been updated recently. The property needs a lot of updates, generally. Lobby has that old hotel smell. The front desk lady was very good. Breakfast was minimal.

The room was clean and nice but the over all look of the motel was rundown. The staff was friendly, when you could find one.

Overall I think it’s a good place to stay. Messed up the room that I booked online but the manager fixed it and her customer service was excellent. Will definitely stay again.

We did not like the distance from the elevator to our room and our room looked like it had not changed in fifty years. No Kleenex in tissue retainer. Crappy shower. Terrible breakfast

The inside lobby was beautiful, then you get to your room and the floor and the table tops were dirty. Could not go bare footed because there was black crumb stuff on the floor. The marble table tops were smudged, not shiny clean like they should be. The breakfest bar had not much in the way on any drinks. Water. Had to go back way down hall to get coffee.

The hotel overall was quite dated and run down. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel was quiet. The area for the breakfast was an old attached restaurant. It was in great need of attention. There were signs up stating that quite a few food items were out of stock.

Loved the pool, heated and 9ft deep! Also free breakfast won us over too. Clean, quiet, loved it. Would stay here again!

Our reservation was for a queen bed, non-smoking with a pool view. We were given a full bed in a room that reeked of cigarette smoke. We talked to check in staff and were told “well, the room shouldn’t smell like smoke”. We were moved to another room that still did not have a queen, but the room was clean and smelled fine. This hotel in a by-gone era was probably quite the place - having a conference center and restaurant. There have been little to no upgrades to the rooms - the bathroom fixtures appear to be original, cracks in the sinks and toilets that flush gallons of water. The exterior landscaping is a weedy mess. The included breakfast is only fair with little frozen omelettes and sausage patties in individual zip-lock bags with no heating instructions. The bread, pastries and bagels were not soft or fresh. I wanted to use the men’s room near the breakfast area and found it to be totally unacceptable to use. There was toilet paper strewn about, the toilet itself had urine and feces on and around it and there were cigarette butts crushed on the floor - and, the next day, I found the men’s room to be in the exact same condition…….it had obviously not been cleaned from the day before. I will say that the staff was polite. It’s hard to believe that the Wyndham Group would allow one of their properties to be operated with such deplorable conditions. Potential guests should be aware of the conditions here. We can not recommend this property.

We have stayed here consistently once a year for the last several years and keep coming back. Staff is wonderful!!

The staff were very nice and helpful. The negative ratings have nothing to do with them. However, our room was not clean (toenail on the ground), the bathroom door stuck so we couldn't close it, there was no safety lock on the hallway door, and the floor was sticky. The worst part was the continental breakfast. I pretty sure the scrambled eggs in a bag (for guests to warm up in a microwave) was the low point in our morning.

Check in took a long time, the desk attendant said Expedia was not working and we couldn’t check in even though he had the reservation on his screen, he wanted me to pay again which I was hesitant to do but after traveling all day we paid so we could have the room! Upon waking up we had an envelope under the door with a refund for the double payment so I was happy not to have to fight for that refund. Bed was comfy, room was clean and the breakfast was just mediocre.

The outside of the hotel is worn out and old and needs a lot of new paint. However, the inside and the rooms themselves are pretty decent. It was clean and comfortable.

Overall the hotel was dated. Pretty unkept on the outside. It was definitely a nice hotel in its day. It definitely was comfortable enough to sleep for the night on our travels. The room had an odor, the refrigerator had food and drinks in it from the previous person. The outside was unkept. However, the young man in the front was amazing. He was so nice and seemed to be running the hotel completely by himself. He was an absolute rockstar. Kudos to him. The common areas also seems fairly clean.
