Alles bestens!

We had a family group ageing between 11 months and 80 years old. The apartment suited us well, giving us ample space for each family member to have their own space. Huge terrace, bathroom big and spacious air conditioning was good and kitchen also well equipped. We could have benefitted from a microwave to warm the baby’s milk but not a huge issue. The hosts were extremely helpful, extremely responsive to e-mails and even helped us arrange transport to various trips out. The property was as advertised and we were happy and suited us well.

Très bel appartement, parfaitement équipé. Il est situé à 5 minutes à pieds de l’entrée principale de POMPEI. Les photos reflètent bien la réalité de l’appartement. Enfin, les propriétaires sont très sympas et très accueillants!

First, our hosts: Karine and Pasquale were warm and welcoming hosts. Communication was primarily with Karine who was great at responding quickly to any questions we had and was always on hand to provide any advice. Karine arranged for a taxi to take us to and from the airport which was 15% cheaper than anything we had found on the Internet. The apartment itself was clean and spacious both inside and outside (although we didn’t get much chance to sit outside due to the weather which was pleasant compared to the UK but a bit rainy, we went in Oct / Nov). There were a few niggly things (eg: none of the remote controls worked as the batteries were flat, on one occasion the rain had seeped through the external door on to the kitchen floor and we had to ask for some towels to get rid of the water, on one occasion the water heating turned itself off and we had to ask for it to be switched back on) that took the edge off our stay…..not major but it was disappointing that they happened. Location-wise, if you want to go to Pompeii ruins (and why wouldn’t you?) and travel by train using the Circumvesuviana to get to Sorrento, Herculaneum and Naples (not Amalfi as some people have suggested, it’s probably close to being a 5 hour round trip from Pompeii) its about as good as you can get with a 5 – 10 minute walk to both. There is a “tourist information office” next to the train station but its actually a commercial business that sells guided trips to Vesuvius and Pompeii….fine if that’s what you want but they will be charging a premium. The nearest Supermarket (a 24 / 7 Carrefour) is 15 – 20 mins walk away which can be a bit of a chore to go to and from as its on the main road into Pompeii new town but was well stocked. One nice surprise was Pompeii new town….its about a 20 – 25 minute walk (continue past Carrefour and bear left) and was quite buzzy and pretty….a nice way to spend an hour or two. We found two great restaurants..The Old West (steak, burgers) and I Matti (pizza, pasta) were both good on service and food Unfortunately, as professional and kind as Karine and Pasquale were, like others who have stayed, we suffered on two occasions from the party’s downstairs which went on until the early hours of the morning at the weekends. We can't recommend it because we didn’t want to hear loud music and talking until the early hours but if that doesn’t bother you then it’s a good place to stay especially in the summer when you can use the terrace.

Die Lage ist für Besucher der Ausgrabung perfekt. Schöne Sicht in die bucht und auf den Vesuvius.

Schöne große Räume, gute Ausstattung, tolle Aussicht (aber Treppen), sehr schöne Dach-Terrasse. Nur wenige Gehminuten von der Ausgrabungsstätte in Pompeii entfernt. Genauso wie zu einem kleinen Bahnhof (Strecke nach Sorrent für die Überfahrt nach Capri). Die Wohnung ist auch mit dem Auto einfach zu erreichen (gute Parkmöglichkeit, abgesperrtes Grundstück). Nur wenige Kilometer nach Neapel und zum Vesuv oder nach Herculaneum. Sehr empfehlenswert! ---------------------------------------------------- Nice large rooms, good facilities, great views (but stairs), very nice roof terrace. Within walking distance of the archaeological site in Pompeii. As well as to a small station (distance to Sorrento for the crossing to Capri). The apartment is also easy to reach by car (good parking, enclosed property). Only a few kilometers to Naples and Mount Vesuvius or Herculaneum. Highly recommended!

Un appt confort à la hauteur des promesses : beaucoup d'espace et belle terrasse, belle vue de chaque côté, belles prestations de l'ameublement et literie. Il est idéalement situé à maxi 500 m des ruines et de la gare avec une ligne de train locale très pratique et peu chère qui dessert rapidement ttes les 1/2h Sorrente, Naples, Ercolano...Idéal ! A noter dans l'enceinte où se situe l'appt, un restaurant avec prestations qualité prix et deco/ambiance très sympa! Un endroit à recommander sans hésiter !

Super Lage zur Erkundung von Pompeji, Neapel, Amalfiküste, Salerno usw. Das Appartement ist sehr geräumig, sauber und mit riesigen Terrassen mit sehr schönen Ausblick.

Keurig en ruim appartement. Vriendelijke eigenaren.

Die Ausstattung und Einrichtung hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen, wir waren als fünfköpfige Familie (3 erwachsene Kinder) für 5 Tage in der Wohnung und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. An- und Abreise waren absolut unkompliziert und freundlich. Die Lage nahe bei den Ausgrabungsstätten von Pompei (fussläufig zu erreichen) sowie nahe am Bahnhof (Vorortzug nach Neapel) haben uns die Gestaltung der Tage sehr erleichtert.

I can't say enough good things about our stay at the Casa Raphael! My wife, our 8 year old son and I just spent a lovely week there. First, our hosts: Karine and Pasquale are warm and welcoming hosts (and very child-friendly :-). They did everything to make us feel comfortable and make sure we had everything we need during our stay. And on several occasions offered some very welcome advice and tips on things to see and do in the area. Next, the apartment: we couldn't ask for more - it was very nicely appointed and recently updated. It was clean, comfortable and functional - it was spacious inside and out - we loved dining on the terrace overlooking the Amalfi coastline! Finally, the location was perfect - it is literally a 5 minute walk to the entrance of the Pompeii ruins (on both ends - also close to the Villa dei Misteri, which I recommend seeing :); and a great jumping off point for many other area attractions - we visited Vesuvius, Sorrento and the Greek ruins in Paestum all easily in day trips. It's also nice bonus that there is an excellent restaurant on the premises! So, if you're looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in the Pompeii-Amalfi Coast area - this is the ideal spot!

Very convenient location as a base for exploring the area. Comfortable, well presented apartment with lovely views from the terraces. Hosts very friendly and helpful. We had some problems with noise from what we presume was the 'entertainment' at the hotel next door at the weekend, but would recommend this apartment nonetheless.

La mia famiglia ed io abbiamo trascorso quattro giorni in questa struttura. L'appartamento, completamente ristrutturato e ben arredato, è collocato all'interno di una struttura che comprende due ristoranti di buon livello, con parcheggio recintato, di fronte alle rovine di Pompei, raggiungibili queste a soli 5 minuti a piedi. Stazione dei treni a tre minuti a piedi, negozi aperti h24 a cinque minuti in macchina. I proprietari sono estremamente gentili e disponibili, l'appartamento è molto grande, luminoso, ben attrezzato e pulito. Ottima soluzione per visitare Pompei e dintorni!

We just stayed in this apartment, love the location, it is very near the highway (so Naples, Vesuvio, Sorrento and Amalfi coast are very close) and just 5 minute walk for the entrance for Pompeya or the train station. There is also a supermarket close by, like a 15 mins walk. The apartment is very nice, clean, great views, wonderful deck and the owners are the nicest people ever. We just had some issues with the internet, that it was not working properly, because it only allow to use it for limited time.

We were a group of 7 people and stayed a total of 11 days in this amazing apartment! We all had plenty of room. Pictures on the site don't do justice to how beautiful the apartment really is. It's spotless, well appointed, big, quite, secure, just a couple of blocks to walk to the ruins o Pompei and most of all Million dollars views of mount Vesuvio, Capri, Ischia, the Sorrento cost and the Golf of Napoli. Karine's and Pasquale hospitality was absolutely GREAT. Both were there when ever we needed them, or had any questions. I thank them both. My family and I will definitely be back!!!

Our family of 6 stayed comfortably in this great 3-bedroom apartment. It is really just a couple of blocks to walk to the ruins. The train station is even closer. The terrace has incredible views of Mt. Vesuvius, the entire city, and the Mediterranean. The place was nicely appointed with a pull-out sofa in the living room and a full kitchen. It is above a very nice restaurant.

Ideal location, good food, nice room, but very noisy at night

A great place from which to visit the ruins of Pompei! The accommodation is spacious and very comfortable. We enjoyed our meals on the large deck which has spectacular views! The beds were comfortable and the bathroom is as good as a 5 star hotel. We really enjoyed our time at Katine's apartment, and she and her husband were very kind. We highly recommend it for anyone going to Pompei.
