If you stay at this hotel do not stay on a perimeter room as the noise from the street didn’t stop until 4 am. When I brought this up with the front desk in the morning I was not very with the response I received …just told that I should have called down to front desk and asked for a different room. I assu Ed that all the quiet rooms were taken or they would not have places in a room with this amount of noise level. Very disappointed.

Ok stay. Elevators, especially No 1, is very slow. Breakfast bar has an adequate munchies and an array of coffees. Full breakfast service on the dining side is very slow and lacks a bit of attention to detail (45 min wait for porridge, over easy eggs arrived “over hard”. The Holmes Bar closes early (10pm) and seems not able to serve tea or coffee later in the evening. They also did not have a specific draft beer three nights in a row.

My two-night stay was nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. What I didn't like was the $50 additional per night fee for incidentals. I think this is a nonsense fee. If you want to charge an additional $50 fee per night, just quote the higher price in your room rate. This is a sneaky way to get more money out of your guest. know a lot of hotels do this, but that doesn't make it right.

Great hotel right in the middle of French Quarter. We stayed in a courtyard view room and had zero noise from Bourbon Street. The hotel employees were super friendly and helpful. Loved our stay!

Hotel allowed us to check-in early, like 9:30am early. We’d just departed a cruise ship so the timing was off. Eric the Bell Captain is really really good. Really the whole staff here was on point. Noisy street noise but earplugs did the trick! Will definitely stay at the Hyatt Centric again - this was better than the Ritz!!

Tv didn’t work in our room; extremely noisy outside; moved us to another room which was considerably smaller. Bathroom was too small and bedroom lamp was inoperative

Beautiful hotel lobby, bar, and breakfast area, and awesome staff. But it stops there. The rooms were like a dirtier version of an off-strip Vegas hotel. Fully carpeted rooms with tons of stains - gross from who knows what. Hair in the shower, the bathroom area, and dust everywhere. Definitely not cleaned thouroughly. The area outside the hotel is right off of Bourbon Street, and while convenient, there were tons of homeless. There was human feces on the sidewalk right outside of the hotel door.

Was very disappointed there was no microwave available for reheating leftovers. NOLA is a dinning experience town and to have leftovers and not be able to reheat them was sadly disappointing! Furthermore the TV app set up was a challenge and it continued to glitch up sound dropping in and out and actually locked me out completely and I couldn’t restart the app.

I always stay here when in NOLA. Close to bourbon and the Ceasars Dome. Just try to get a courtyard room if you dont want to hear the shenanigans coming from bourbon.

Pro’s: modern, fun decor w/ exception of 1 at front desk the staff was friendly (especially engineer Eric who fixed our tv & helped us w/ move to our new room when he found the water leak in the room above ours that was coming into our room)) Con’s: Woken up first morning by music blasting in the pool area despite rain & no swimmers. Based on a suggestion from an employee, asked front desk whether it could be turned down the next morning (especially since rain was predicted again). Front desk person said she wouldn’t be there in the morning & we’d have to call the desk then if we were woken again. Thought she could have left a note or offered us a room change. Hours later we had to be moved when we returned to our room for bed & found a puddle in our bathroom from a leak in the room above ours. Tv didn’t work first night or next day. Engineer fixed it 2nd night. Room we got moved to was missing a floor lamp making the room incredibly dark. The outlets in the nightstand on one side didn’t work, so we overslept b/c the phone plugged in on that side died overnight & alarm didn’t go off. We then discovered that the outlets for the coffee maker didn’t work either. Ended up plugging it in where the tv was.

Customer Service is excellent. Everyone greeted us continuously throughout our stay. Opened doors, welcomed us every time we walked through the doors. I can’t say enough about the excellent staff. Our room was clean, spacious and an excellent quality for our money. It was great having our room serviced every day as well. Would definitely stay here again.
