Very very friendly and helpful staff! Everything is located at and around pool area which is supurb. Pool and garden areas are beautiful, however the rooms have had their glorious times and are outdated.

Wonderful destination! The staff is outstanding, and the complimentary buffet breakfast is simply amazing. The resort boasts stunning, serene swimming pools for both adults and children, all with a beachside view. The property itself is expansive, with impeccably maintained gardens that add to its charm. While it may not be located in the commercial area, there is a fantastic restaurant next door.

This hotel is clean and the room is comfortable. However, there is no lift and therefore not suitable for those with heavy luggage and mobility issues. The wifi coverage was weak to non-existent, not suitable for work. The first room I had did not have wifi coverage at all. I negotiated with the reception staff for another room which the staff kindly made the arrangement. Eventually, I settled for a room with twin beds (could not be combined) although I booked a double bed room. This room had weak wifi coverage, required longer duration to load a webpage.

Location is great which is next to the beach, hotel looks so grand, staff were friendly and helpful. Food was great except the fruit juice didn't taste nice, not fresh and tasted artificial. Otherwise I'd give 5 stars

The hotel is right off the beach and has nice features to take beautiful photographs on, especially during sunset. Staff were kind and attentive but the amenities in the room could be updated. The side table of switches were really old. However the place was clean. This is a hotel that is more suited for domestic travellers so modest outfit would be best as swim wear.

We arrived on the new Perth - Lombok flight so didn’t get to the hotel until about 1am. We were greeted by friendly staff and shown to our room. Our room was as requested - cot, interconnected rooms & 1 queen 2 twin beds. We had a beautiful view of the pool and were able to relax on our verandah and still watch our 4 year old swim whilst the 2 year old had a nap in the room.
Breakfast was mainly traditional - some cereal, eggs, bacon & pastries though. Lots of seating with either view of the ocean, pool or in the open air restaurant.
Pool was beautiful, always clean. No swim up bar, but there is a bar you can order drinks from. Staff were delightful. Bintangs are about $3 for a small & $8 for a large, cocktails range from $6 - $12. Spring Rolls, Fish & Chips and Pizza was all really good.
It’s a 20,000 IR ($2) taxi fair into Sengeggi and always taxis parked out the front.
We will absolutely stay again and will request the same room again.
A few minor things;
Lighting in the bathroom is terrible. Really dark.
Service is always excellent - but takes a long time to receive your order.
WIFI is really poor

Fantastic location, the place is beautiful and very well looked after. The staff is wonderful and friendly with a genuine welcoming smile at all times. Unfortunately, the week before arriving at the hotel I hurt myself playing soccer and I needed assistance most times, all staff cared and helped me looked after myself. I was relax and enjoy my time in Lombok. I will be back. Thank you!

Loved this resort. A little bit out of town but that's what we wanted. Food and staff were excellent. Would definately recommend this resort for a quiet retreat. Rooms were very clean and comfortable.

The hotel was on beautiful location right on the beach... everything was perfect except TV which had only local 17 channels...no discovery channel, national geographic or music channel and also with poor clearity and leaking sink, which they fixed once I reported.... staff was very friendly and helpful... overall was a good hotel...just need to update their tv channels with good clearity.

Nice room and surroundings, though a bit dated. We stayed here as it was convenient to go for Dolphin Dive School dive courses (which we highly recommend btw). Pool looks family friendly. Theres a nice, clean private beach and even beach vendors who are easily accessible at a designated space yet do not tout. Breakfast area is beautiful if you can get a table facing the beach. One downside is that the hotel seems to host many conferences/local business meetings so breakfast becomes crowded and events like a karaoke night may disturb your rest (there seems to be event space at both ends of the compound). Restricted hours for hot water so do take note

The Jayakarta has its charms. Stuck in the past, with big rooms and focussed on local families, which is fine. But needs to update itself for more demanding and discerning travellers. WiFi was awful. Senggigi is a good stopover if you’re planning trips to the waterfalls and mountains up north. But not much to offer on its own. Mangsit Beach closeby is a must for swimming, sunsets and dinner.

The toilet can do with a bit of renovation. Bed was comfy, breakfast was good. Too strong chlorine in the pool. The beach is no clean to swim.

Hotel is definitely dated. There is nothing around it. I would recommend staying further north where the beach is good cause the beach here was black and bad. The food was good though. We ate two meals at the restaurant. Mainly because unless you have transport its the only choice.....BUT surprisingly great chicken parm and steak. It's a slow, old, bit tired hotel. Not horrible, but not great. I'd only stay there again if I wanted a break from the outside world. Service was good though. Would like to add that hot water is only available at certain times, so if you stay READ THE MANUAL IN THE ROOM. It was the first thing I did when I sat down at the desk and found out useful things like the water not always being hot

The resort was ok for three stars, happy with that. The staff could have been a LOT friendlier than they were. The restaurant was a joke!!!! I ordered what was supposed to be imported New Zealand steak - it was so terrible that I could not even cut it let alone eat it - I was charged $22.00 which I refused to pay. This is the worst meal I have ever been served. Due to a dull and boring menu with sub standard food I ate pizza for four nights in a row. I finally decided to go to the Sheraton just up the road and was furious to find out that their meals were superb and were actually cheaper than the Jayakarta Lombok restaurant - very disappointing. Terrible food!!! This restaurant needs to pick up its game - the resort is a little bit isolated so having to dine out every night was a pain. I will not stay here again purely because of the terrible restaurant

Hotel is located kind of far from senggigi (5 km) so if you want to go change money, eat, rent motorbike you need to use taxi for 20k idr. Beach is nit suitable for swim, use swimming pool.

We were made to wait 3 hrs to check-in. The staff are not really service-minded. Only 1 key card and when we asked for another they wanted us to pay an extra Rp 50K. This is a nice place overall but extremely dated and certainly not 4 star. Much more geared toward local clientele, so be prepared for that if you book here. Nobody smiles or greets - no hospitality at all.

Hotel looks is great, the lobby was beautiful, the staff was very friendly and helpful.
The downside is the room. I booked a deluxe room because i wanted the ocean view. Got what i asked for but with not so great room condition.
The toilet was flooding with water, the tub looks old and water pressure was so-so. Amenities was for 1 person only (only one toothbrush)
The aircond is not working and we literally sleeping in sweat. Call the technician twice but nothing change. Request room change but was declined because they told us the room are all booked.

Didn't like the cottage room as it look old and 'sad' interior. Had to ask for a change of room and ended up in Jnr Suite which was alot better, newer and bigger room (of coz we pay additional for the suite).
