Great hotel, clean, comfortable, nice coffee shop.

the quirky colorful motel was clean, easy to check in, and had good service, HOTELS .com check your info, the rooms do not have kitchenettes or microwaves, fridges or coffee makers. the 40% off at their bistro was nice good prices and portions. also one of the video games ate my tokens and they quickly reimbursed me and gave me extras. nice touch.

My first impression of customer service wasn’t great. When I checked in the young clerk did not glanced our way he had eyes on his computer but heard us come in, then gave us a room on 2nd floor. He seemed a bit flustered when I asked how to get to the elevator, he informed me there wasn’t any. I obviously walked in using my rolling walker if he was paying attention to begin with he would have noticed. I stepped back so he could see my walker & then he assigned us a downstairs room. I did enjoy my stay after the incident & the check out clerk was excellent! Thank goodness it was a different one.

Visiting from the US and my Spanish isn’t fluent. There is a sense of entitlement at the front desk. When checking out the woman was taking 10 minutes per person making me stress over my flight. I tried to give her my phone to speak into to correctly understand what she was trying to say. She did not take the phone and muttered with a complacent look in her eye. What it picked up was I owed for tomato juice and catnip. The have no early check in either. I had to wait 5 hrs for my room. Their check out and in is substandard. I had to ask for my room to be cleaned multiple times due to the service skipping the room. I was really excited to stay there but after this I will just book elsewhere.

Temper pedic beds were amazing after a long day out.

Staff very friendly. An older hotel converted to be chic and cute. It is a hotel you can't fully appreciate, if you stay only one night. I stayed 3 days and kept learning of new perks as the stay went on. For example, food and coffee were discounted if you were a hotel resident. A latte for less than I would pay anywhere! Free check out of bikes during the day. Across the street is beach wildlife refuge trail - that can be biked or walk. The refuge is being developed in part with restaurant and a convention center but still nice to experience. Not much light on the path if returning at night. My daughter loved it for its uniqueness. Again staff was very accommodating and friendly. Definitely would stay again.

We've stayed here before. Always a very good stay. Love the little diner attached to it.

Overall, the hotel was fine. I am leaving the review for the hotel staff's negligence in putting me in a room with a malfunctioning toilet. Every time I flushed the toilet, it had a screeching sound that would last over 20 minutes unless I had to jiggle the handle. When I brought this to the hotel staff the next day, there seemed to be some indifference about it, and when I brought up the fact whoever cleaned the room would have noticed that if they had cleaned the room again, there was a lack of accountability and indifference. While I was reporting this issue to one of the front desk staff, the general manager, Instead of asking to speak with me or switching staff members, the general manager talked over me and told me there could be many reasons why the toilet was malfunctioning; again, I'm not disputing that something was malfunctioning. He had difficulty hearing and accepting that whoever cleaned the room should have noticed that sound and reported it, and no one should have been put in the room. What I left with understanding is that if the general manager cannot even provide appropriate customer service, it's no wonder there seems to be a lack of accountability and indifference from his staff.

Excellent motel! The beds are heavenly!! Water pressure makes me want to take 4 showers a day☺️ rooms are clean, staff are all very nice! I wish there was a fridge... But we aren't here for long so we made do. Decor is amazing!! Love it!! Better than the Hilton we stayed at.

It was fun kinda cozy, Just hanging out with friends while either going to the snack area. chilling by the arcade, or going to the pool. Also they fulfilled my stupid ahh request, I love it

Nicely decorated room and very easy parking

I really like the Rambler Motel. It’s close to where my brother lives, but he lives on a boat, so it’s great to have a close motel. It’s a really cool place when everything and everyone are working. I came when they had unusual issues, and I would stay there again without question. However, this time it was just different than usual. Their system was down at check in and they told us we would have to wait. We came back an hour later, their system was still down. I had to mention that I checked in online days before when they emailed me to do so. They had me checked in all along. The next morning the system was still down and they couldn’t get us coffee because they couldn’t ring it up. I thought they should have been able to bill the room. The next morning they couldn’t get us coffees because the other person didn’t show up. We didn’t have a vehicle, so we had to wait for a ride. No coffee in the morning is never good for me.😎

The spot was nice and allowed for easy traveling with the train right next to it.

I loved everything about this place expect it not having a microwave or fridge lol but that was least of my worries! Good spot and very convenient !

It was bare bones. No coffee, frig or microwave. Really fun style in rooms. Also, easy to get to any type dining you could want. Right on the freeway but not very noisy.

This hotel was a good value. Kids are tricky to travel with because they have food preferences that can be tricky to cater without a small refrigerator and we were with kids and there was no refrigeration. This is the only hotel we have been to that doesn't have coffee in the room. As parents we appreciate our morning coffee nice and early so waiting for the coffee shop to open was not fun. The staff were nice and the pool was wonderful. We had a great time as a family and felt safe so overall it was worth it♡

Clean and neat.

The bed made a noise every time I sat on it. I ve been at several hotels in the area and this is the only one that doesn’t award any late check outs. And lastly, by the check out time the personnel knocking at the door seemed like they would be tearing it down.

Very affordable/convenient and close to downtown area. Parking is free and plenty of spots. Area feels safe and friendly.

We booked a last minute stay here to rest before continuing to our final destination the next day and we were so impressed. We arrived late at night and the staff was so friendly and kind. The room was really clean and the beads were so comfortable. Their lobby/lounge/cafe area was so cute and fun. Unfortunately we did not try anything from the cafe but it all looked really good and clean and they also offered 40% off discount on all their items (snacks,coffee, food) I don’t live close but if we were to ever be around the area again without a doubt we would stay here. We felt so welcomed and safe. P.s loved how all staff we encountered spoke Spanish.

Friendly at check in Clean room

The staff at the hotel and the cafe were incredibly kind and accommodating. Our flight in was delayed by 4 hours and we didn’t end up getting there until around 4am. The staff at the front desk were so kind, made check in quick and easy and offered us refreshments since we had been traveling all day. 10/10 would recommend and we definitely will be staying there next time we visit the west coast!
