Loved staying at Intercontinental hotel. The best thing about this hotel are the employees. They are genuinely nice, warm, welcoming & very helpful. From my first contact with the hotel personnel through Expedia to the last employee who helped to load my luggage the day I left the hotel, every single person was wonderful. The breakfast buffet was expectional, the room service food was wonderful, though pricy. The room and hotel was neat, clean and very well organized. The hotel was better than a lot of hotels I have stayed at in Canada & USA. One thing I did not like was the price for the shuttle service from airport, which was very expensive compared to Canada & USA, where it is usually free or costs much less regardless of whether they are 4 star or higher. I will definitely stay at this hotel again if I go back to Bangladesh because of the exceptional staff & the quality of service I received.

Loved staying at Intercontinental hotel. I made multiple reservations for my family & relatives. Everyone loved staying at the hotel. The hotel representative at the airport helped one of us with getting visitor visa when the immigration agent was being difficult, which I appreciated very much. Another reason to stay at this hotel if you are visiting Bangladesh. The hotel personnel who helped me with the reservation through Expedia, went above & beyond to make our arrival smooth & our family reunion special. We were very touched & happy. The best thing about this hotel are the employees. They are genuinely nice, warm, welcoming & very helpful. Excellent staff and hotel. I decided to stay at this property after staying at others in the past. The Intercontinental is by far the nicest in Dhaka, with excellent service and different food options. I also used the spa, gym, and pool which I also found to be excellent.

We had such an amazing stay at the InterContinental Dhaka. Our room was clean and comfortable - we loved the view we had of Ramna Park. The hotel staff were attentive and welcoming. We also hosted our one year anniversary party at the hotel in one of their ballrooms during our stay. The staff for the event were fantastic and everything went smoothly. Cannot say enough great things about this property!

Hotel Intercontinental in Dhaka is a very clean & well maintained hotel. I stayed there for 7 nights. The staff and management are ready to provide superb service. The check-in was great and fast (however I would rate it as a 9/10 where 10/10 would be equivalent to the mind-blowing check-in experience the Taj Hotels provide). The rooms are very spacious with bathrooms that was high end. I stayed one night in a twin room and later was upgraded to a king suite. Both rooms were comfortable with the King Suite being really comfortable, of course! I stayed at Radisson Blu Dhaka, but Intercontinental Dhaka’s rooms are by far better, cleaner, more comfortable. I enjoyed the fruit baskets and the afternoon chocolate & dates! And not to mention the fresh flowers in the room that were changed every 2-3 days! These small yet meaningful touches to room service made our stay memorable! What could be improved? communication. During my 7-night stay, three nights the air conditionings & at least on two nights the water was serviced. The timings of these service ends were always wrong! My first night was a very difficult one. The communication letter/notice said water could be shut off during the night until 5:30 AM but we did not have water until, at least 8:30 AM or so and we are both early risers. That created an unhygienic condition in our bathroom. We were told that the hot water would be available right after the water was on and ended up with a cold shower in the winter!

Fantastic hospitality and warm reception when we arrived. My brother and I were here for the conflict in 1971 that led to the birth of Bangladesh. The hotel staff learned of our living here and they greeted us so warmly and said welcome back as we arrived. Fantastic hotel and a very great value. The breakfast buffet is beyond description.
