Check in was easy and the reception person was very accommodating. I have had physical issues and they kindly gave us a late check out so I could rest. They stored our luggage and we relaxed in the lounge after check out.

This hotel was a great stay for me and my partner, the staff were especially the most memorable as they were always kind and helpful. It's not in the city centre but there's plenty of travel options that are regular and reliable. Theres also many restaurants, cafes, bars and shops nearby. It's a great place to experience the culture outside the centre.

Lovely woman who checked us in ! spoke to us all about the area and where’s best to travel (and recommended an brilliant waffle house) , excellent customer service and breakfast spread was also every accommodating, would recommend to anyone travelling to brussels and needs close access to brussels-midi as it’s a max 20 min walk

Everything was acceptable, except that there was no central heating working in my room (and as I heard in many/most?) rooms. It was December and 3 degrees Celsius outside at night (and the day I left, they expected 0C). They gave me a portable electric heater that could not really heat the room and it was noisy and uncomfortable. The price was high--no special deal--and this was totally unexpected. Otherwise, things were OK and the breakfast was good.

3 lads over to watch Royal Union - we failed to realise the match was 30 miles away in Leuven.For what we wanted the hotel ticked the boxes.Area close by - St Gilles - good for pubs and restaurants.About a 15 minute walk from Midi/Zuid station ( Eurostar)

I accidentally booked a room for two when I only wanted a single. I messaged this hotel, who didn't answer my query and were only interested in being paid. My card company had stopped my card due to fraud. This hotel suggested I send the details of another card by Expedia message, where it says "do not send credit card details with Expedia messages". By this time I had lost faith in them and didn't want to stay there. However, they held me to ransom by refusing to cancel my booking. They understand that as a result of that I will be giving them a bad review, so here it is. They are clearly not interested in my repeat business and they should not get yours.

Disappointing experience.I dont think the walls are the best ones. We heard pretty much everything . I only slept 2h the night I was there.Breakfast was ok.Considering the distance from downtown, would not stay there again

I will suggest the breakfastbuffet is moved to the opposite wall in the dining room. It was too crowed to get something from the buffet because of the way the buffet corner is organized

The staff were really accommodating and sweet, and we really appreciated them and the tasty breakfast. The room, however, was really disappointing. The carpet was in desperate need of replacement - and looked so dirty it made us feel uncomfortable on entering and the heat was so stifling - even with an extra fan! We were very uncomfortable, unable to sleep and there was nothing we could do. The phone to reception didnt work. The windows wouldnt stay open and were right onto the street below. We had to request the wifi to be reset at least 4 times. This was supposed to be a treat for my daughter and it was a complete letdown in that regard. You dont want to check in and complain especially when the staff were so nice and there was nothing else they could do...

One night stay for business. Very friendly staff and comfortable room. Unfortunately a little noisy in the road facing room I had but not too bad. Did not really get chance to see the surrounding area but Gare du Midi was 15 minute walk away so easy access into the centre of Brussels. Would certainly use it again and spend more time investigating the surrounding area.

It was just amazing. I have stayed in many hotels before in Brussels but Fierlant made me feel home. The staffs were fantastic. I had my friends who came to visit me at the hotel. We stayed in the lounge I bought some drinks the next thing we heard some Congolese music being played in the background to accommode us. That was brilliant amazing we all love it and it was an ice on the cake - Marvellous. I also enjoyed the breakfast.

Great hotel, common areas are nicer than rooms. Bed is comfy. Service is fantastic. Breakfast lacks variety after 4 days. Location about out of the way from bus tram or train stops. Nothing around the area. Far from city centre.

The hotel was clean, tidy with helpful and very friendly staff. The room itself was modern and the bed was comfy. The breakfast was good being a Continental selection. The only drawback for us was the parking which was either on the road, or round the corner (5-10 mins walk from the hotel). Nearest secure car park (pay and display) was about a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel.
Other than that very good hotel, great price and would recommend!

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. They hotel staff was amazing and even volunteered to call in my dinner order for me on my first night. The hotel is about a 10 Euro cab fare to Grand Market or Central station. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for somewhere affordable yet nice. The Internet is in and out but worked great once connection was established, so ignore the reviews that says its absolute terrible. Enjoy your stay!!
