The hotel was super convenient to the Broadway Theatre district. The hotel staff were very friendly. The room was big and clean. We will definitely stay here again.

I love The Michelangelo, such a nice hotel and great staff!

Honestly had never stayed here before and usually don't stay in this part of the city . . . Michelangelo was a good price compared to other options around and we really enjoyed our stay. The location is obviously excellent and we found the staff to be super attentive and service oriented. The decor and vibe of the hotel is not modern at all but still very nice. We would stay here again for sure.

I cannot rave enough to how wonderful my stay was at Michelangelo Hotel. We were going through kind of a rough experience in New York and the staff made us feel so welcomed and appreciated. The room was spacious and lovely, the bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was fantastic. Really, to me, the highlight of the hotel was the incredible staff. Everyone from the bellhops/greeters and the workers at the reception desk were the most friendly, caring, wonderful people. We even had a moment where we were walking to the elevator and one of the employees coming out of the elevator, saw us and pressed the button for us before leaving. It left such a large impression on us and I will definitely be recommending this hotel to everyone I meet! Thank you so much Michelangelo Hotel!

Amazing hotel, friendly staff, great amenities and fitness room.

Great location and a classic hotel with wonderful service. Quiet. Calm. Restful. Things you don’t get at the big hotels packed with tourists. Hotel shows its age a bit but is great none the less.

The staff at the Michaelangelo was very nice and helpful. However, the hotel is showing signs of age. The decor was outdated and the bathroom needed to be updated/renovated. On the positive, the room was large for NYC and the location was walkable to the theatre district and Central Park.

The staff were attentive and accommodating. The location was very convenient for our purposes. The room was comfortable and spacious.

I had a lovely experience at The Michelangelo. Housekeeping was wonderful! Lounge staff was excellent! Chamber, Luna & Carmen! Nice gym! Well located!

Nice location for concert and musical

This could be one of my fav hotels I've visited in NYC just for the fact that it is so QUIET. Very hard to find a quiet hotel in the city especially in this neightbor hood and I am a light sleeper. It's well carpeted with heavy drapes (old school vibe) which I love and absorbs the noise. The staff is also very attentive and kind, bed is comfy, really loved my stay.

Upon arriving, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Never have to wait for the elevator, they always seem to be on the floor you are on. Easy walk to Times Square and 5th Ave. Highly recommend this hotel.

Higher end hotel but no complimentary continental breakfast is a drawback.

The entire experience was fabulous and first class from the room to the location. The staff could not have treated us better. Highly recommend staying here. Central to everything and we went everywhere in the city and even caught train for a day exploring as well as bus to Woodbury everything was so convenient. Definitely staying here from now on.

Mostly a solid place. People mostly excellent. Front desk was pleased to tell us what a nice room "he" was going to put us in. Did he mean the one we picked out ourselves and paid in advance for? He was also pleased to inform us of a $10 beverage credit, and further it was actually per person, and invited to use it at the lounge where they were going to play superbowl. one coffee and one bottle of beer ate up the $20. Ok, fine, midtown, whatever. Then we discover no coffee machine upstairs for the AM. Two evening front desk staff say they can happily send one up. We say nah no trouble we'll grab one downstairs in the am. They said actually each coffee is $6 but your beverage credit will reset overnight so no worries. In the am I get charged two breakfasts instead of two coffees, the next $20 credit is burned. I go to check out and the front desk guy who checked us in insists he never said $10 per person per room, and that it didn't reset for us because just one night. I told him $40 for three coffees and a bottle of beer wan't cool when all we wanted was a cup of coffee in the am. He got defensive (I can see that, ok) but he was not going to do anything until I restated it loudly for the line of customers behind me to hear. He finally resolved it, but it left a sour taste in my mouth. I would have spent the same $30 for room service coffee. Not sure why they are nickel and diming these days, they didn't always.

Stay was great again. We had hoped and requested early check in but were disappointed not to get it

This is my first time at this Property.. from the lobby, which is the immaculate to the room to every aspect. They do a first rate job.

Beautiful hotel right in the heart of the city. Walking distance to Times Square, radio city and the cathedral. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. Extremely clean, quiet and comfortable.

It was quiet and I enjoyed the time but what I didn’t like was the hidden fees that they don’t tell you when you check out.

Beautiful big rooms, nicely kept at s great price. Friendly housekeepers. Walk anywhere. Will come back.

Very good location; lots of Charme; great staff, big room

Not only was the hotel very lovely with old world charm of Europe but it was perfectly located for everything

Great hotel and a great location. We’ve stayed there every year about the same time for 4 years but this year the staff seemed a bit less friendly. We got checked into a dirty room. It happens but when we told the desk clerk he said let me find you another room. He took a minute and then said let me talk to my manager and left for almost 5 minutes. Very odd. He came back and gave us the same room on a lower floor. It was handicapped room which was fine. Our other interactions with the front desk were professional but just a bit off and cold. Asked if the had a Cabernet at the bar and they said yes and we got the bill it was $32. I told the bartender we will pay it and give you a 20% tip but we didn’t see a cab on the menu so you should have informed us of the price. She then pulled out a second menu that did have the $32 Cabernet listed. But it wasn’t on the menu that we ordered from. The next day the Sauvignon Blanc that we also ordered off of Menu 1 was not available and the bartender had no knowledge of it. Again, odd. That’s all I can say. We will stay again but I felt things were a bit slippery this year.

Nice and spacious rooms

We splurged on a suite, which ended up being fabulous, better than we imagined. A hotel with class, very clean and well managed.
